This is probably a well know fact by now but for those who don’t know: This episode launched pasta sisters into achieving goals and helped them open a massively successful restaurant.
If you're running a restaurant, you make the damn pasta. I made pasta myself a few times and it's really not hard, especially if you have the appliances for it. No excuse for not making fresh pasta, if you have it on your menu.
@@dowfreak7 fresh pasta doesn’t blend well in every dish, usually dry pasta is best for preparations like this where its essential for it to hold its shape, stop being so pretentious dude
except in this case it's not. The last dish looks about the same as a home made pasta dish with cheese and cream. If you take into consideration the preparation then yeah it is visually appealing, but talking solely about the dish, meh, nothing special.
T/P CO GAMING went to France over the Summer and was expecting the food to blow my mind considering France's reputation in the culinary world. The average price for a plate of pasta no matter what city you were in was about $20 and it tasted like they slapped the sauce out of a jar from the store. It was embarassing. Italy's food however...amazing.
I love how unsolved guys walk out and don't care that they are going on a food adventure and imagine a unsolved worth it where they eat at big haunted places
That's exactly why I clicked because i saw the intro. But if you watch now you can definitely tell how close they are 😂. Now Andrew's like "Steven, my best friend, I miss you, how are you".
This remains the best episode of this series. All the food looks incredible, no $1,000 gold crap, every “competitor” has something going for them, things feel genuine and fresh. Great stuff.
As both a French and Italy lover, everything is wrong with the last pasta. They don't make the pasta (for this price they have to), they put creme, summer white truffle (the worst truffle you can find in France), and pair it with a strong red wine (Chateau Neuf is great and very expensive, but it's a nonsense with this plate). So basically it's all show, expensive, but not a thoughtful cuisine. The first 2 look amazing, especially the 1st one : simple and seems great, the best representation of Italian cuisine.

The wheel of cheese costs about a $1000 so they’ve gotta drive up the price to cut down the expense of cheese wheel, they have to sell about 10 before they make any profit just to cover the cost of the cheese itself
Emma Narine Bc of the parmigiano-reggiano cheese. It may look like ordinary parmesan cheese but it has been aged for a long time which gives it a very distinct flavor that no other parmesan cheese has.

When the alcohol evaporates the flavor of wine intensifies the other flavors. It’s kinda like a more powerful onion or garlic. I really like dishes with wine in the preparation because they taste sweet and rich!! And I’m lucky because we really put it almost everywhere 🍷
I find it hilarious how that final pasta doesn't even need the extra truffle to taste amazing. They just shaved on top to skyrocket the price for legit 0 reason

I hate it when the most expensive dish is just expensive because they chuck expensive ingredients in it. Like the burger, pizza and this pasta. It's expensive because of the combination of ingredients, but there's no imagination or true culinary achievement there. It truly goes to show money can't buy class or quality.
ian nolastname but it doesn't mean better flavours. They did choose the cheapest pasta as the best one, after all. Sometimes, fancier doesn't mean better.
A 100 dollar pasta dish... You would expect them to do the pasta themselves. A bit disappointing. Doesn't matter if you are a French or Italian restaurant. It's not that hard.
I worked at a 5 diamond restaurant, top 30 in the country, we didn't make pasta in house, but sourced it from the best possible place. Who knows, they could go buy their pasta from an old italian woman, and it would be better than anyone in any restaurant could make.
Maybe they should do most expensive to cheapest rather than vice versa, cus they'll remember the one they just ate better. if the expensive one is really good they'd still puck it after eating two more good pastas.
+SHARE H!S V!S!0N the thing is they only had a small sip of wine. I'm getting sort of tired of these comments. It only matters if they get drunk, but they didn't because in combination with all the food they ate and the very little alchohol, they would not have gotten drunk.

I hate it when the most expensive dish is just expensive because they chuck expensive ingredients in it. Like the burger, pizza and this pasta. It's expensive because of the combination of ingredients, but there's no imagination or true culinary achievement there. It truly goes to show money can't buy class or quality.
ChaoticShelly consider that there is 20+ dollars just of truffle, plus the cool presentation
You do understand more expensive ingredients usually mean new and more intense tastes

but it doesn't mean better flavours. They did choose the cheapest pasta as the best one, after all. Sometimes, fancier doesn't mean better.
Yeah
My thought exactly. Thanks for explaining it eloquently as English in not my native language.
A 100 dollar pasta dish... You would expect them to do the pasta themselves. A bit disappointing. Doesn't matter if you are a French or Italian restaurant. It's not that hard.
I agree, even the pasta sisters made it completely fresh. So i guess u pay the 100$ for the show and the truffel
I worked at a 5 diamond restaurant, top 30 in the country, we didn't make pasta in house, but sourced it from the best possible place. Who knows, they could go buy their pasta from an old italian woman, and it would be better than anyone in any restaurant could make.

Am I the only one that really wants the cheapest and most expensive pasta to be switched to see how much they act? 😂
Charles Brown nope! Im with you
Blind taste test!
Maybe they should do most expensive to cheapest rather than vice versa, cus they'll remember the one they just ate better. if the expensive one is really good they'd still puck it after eating two more good pastas.
Charles Brown yes
Charles Brown they should do it
I love how Shane and Ryan walked out in the begging ! worth it and buzzfeed unsolved are my favorite series on buzzfeed. 😂💞

$100 "So do you make the pasta fresh here?"
"No! We are french! We buy our pasta wholesale from pasta sisters!"
XD
Dont drink and drive next time please... wine is still alcohol.
SHARE H!S V!S!0N drinking and driving is not bad it's drunk driving
Lmfaooo lloooooll xD best comment
It only matters if you get drunk.
+SHARE H!S V!S!0N the thing is they only had a small sip of wine. I'm getting sort of tired of these comments. It only matters if they get drunk, but they didn't because in combination with all the food they ate and the very little alchohol, they would not have gotten drunk.
i don't like buzz feed, but i'll admit i enjoy this series.
but only with these 3 guys. they really are the 3 musketeers
these videos are the *insert metaphor here* for my mouth
Good thing they don't like you either

That was the longest sentence I ever heard from Adam
The first Cheap one looked the best and more appetising than the expensive 😂
I totally agree, in most worth it episodes the most expensive food looks kind of synthetic in my opinion😂😂
