Unfortunately I have to take my Nakto to a repair shop to get fixed. 2 new controllers, one new display. Now my throttle does not work. They are very quick to respond though. They sent me the previous Nakto F2 with no problems. This F4 has been a nightmare. Hopefully once the bike shop repairs it, I can finally give it a review on my channel.
That sucks....but the Customer Service is outstanding. I am going to continue to ride this bike hard...just like I did with the OX and try and break it....maybe even going to the Firetower today. :)

BUT I do have more bikes and trikes than I ever imagined when I started TH-cam about 12 months ago. IN Fact, TH-cam was simply going to be my to way to PREACH to people to GET OUT and LIVE LIFE through Electric Bikes....and my real estate/legal tips...and for me to "relive" my rides AND it has turned into much more! You old fart...you are older than me.....ha ha ha....on the 21st! :) I never even imagined I would see 60. My mom passed away not long after 60 from a 19 year battle with breast cancer in 1998....and my dad 3 years later from cancer in 2001....also not too far past 60..... Good for both of us!!🙏
Mountain bike style...I have over 40 miles....makes me feel like I am on my mountain bike....makes me want to pedal. BUT at the end of 18+ miles....my knees hurt.
18 miles 😲, but you did go trekking through the woods, not an ideal start for a mileage test 😅 But, it's the lousy 8ah battery that's the problem. I can't get my head round why ANY E-bike company would put such a weak 'range' battery on their bikes - 48v is ok, but 8Ah?!?!?! It's just dumb, as what use is an E-bike that will only do about 20 miles from a full charge???!!???? Other than the terrible mileage it seems like an ok-ish performer. I can see the short handlebars being annoying for those who like to put a tonne of crap on them 😂 too. And also, when are these E-bike makers gunna start putting suspension seat-posts on their bikes that lack any form of rear comfort?!? Not a bad E-bike, but whomever at Nakto that decided to slap an 8ah battery on it needs sacking 😮😂 it's ludicrous what with the mileage other e-bikes are getting now, anything less than 40 miles of range, well it's just far too "Old school E-bike", not acceptable Nakto. Honestly 18 miles on a 8AH battery isn't bad, especially with rough trails. I built my wife's 350W 7.8AH bike, and it gets 19 miles on flat rail trails.
@ebike_tinkerer They probably advertise it as a 40+ mile range e-bike, but the reality is much worse - either way, it's not good for an E-bike in 2024... I was getting roughly this range from my Cyclamatic Powerplus 250w 24v way, way back 8 years ago. Nobody wants an E-bike with a lousy 20 miles range, it defeats the object of having an E-bike as everyone now wants great range. I'm not knocking it as an E-bike, as other than it's range issue it seems pretty decent. But let's face it, range is a massive selling point nowadays for an E-bike 👍

Thinking about it, guys like us like going long range. IMHO this is more for the novice that's looking for a lighter bike that looks "normal"
