I tried this and followed this to the T, even got the same materials, same fender eliminator from another video, etc. Once I got to the factory link pipe / muffler after removing the exhaust, I found an o2 sensor on it, mine has two sensors. One in the muffler, at the beginning, right after the catalytic converter, and another before the catalytic converter. Maybe it’s just an Europe thing?
Just reading through the comments and came across your post. I recently received my Racefit Growler X exhaust and plan on installing it this weekend. My exhaust came with a spot for a 2nd O2 sensor. My 24' ZX-6R only has one. I spoke with the owner of Racefit (In the UK) and the Euro bikes DO have two O2 sensors. It must be a Euro thing. I have to have an O2 plug in my exhaust because the US models only have one O2 sensor.
It does have 2 O2 sensors for the Euro5+ rating. I guess it's a matter of drilling a hole in the new link pipe to put it in? I bet there's sensor deleters too
Thanks man hopefully I can just change my M4 slip on from my 2012 zx6R to my 2024 636 then I will be good without a servo buddy and not spend anything hopefully they say I’m all good 🤙
Those decel pops sound pretty nice for a $35 aftermarket pipe. I was thinking about spending $2k for a SCP-CRT full exhaust but I might actually opt out for a $35 pipe hahaha!
Thank that's so informative. I have a question. What if I let the expansion chamber intact and just put on a slip on exhaust. Does it make a great sound? Or do I really need to remove tha expansion chamber?
It's the same sound, just barely a bit quiter. The audio doesn't come through great on my cameras so I couldn't tell a difference on film. I'd throw one on with the chamber intact, if you want louder, then just get the $55 link pipe that removes it. My setup is really loud though, like extremely. Depends what you want
I'd get a flash if you do a full system. You might notice a slight dip in low rpm power, depends what system you go with. But you won't gain any power until a flash or tune, then you should see 12+ hp
Do I really need the curved connection/ link pipe for back pressure I think you called it? also it just looks so close to the rear tire is that also not an issue with the link pipe you used?
hey man did you ever end up getting a check engine light im thinking about doing this because im watching a few different videos and they say you get a check engine so im confused

Hey Bud. I was watching your video about taking the servo cable only on the servo with your after market exhaust. Did you got any check engine light lately since you install the ebay exhaust?
I'm strongly considering running this on my zx6, but my main question is, does that exhaust and tip rub up against the swingarm at all after hitting bumps? Was a little worried about if there was any issue with clearance for everything.

there's no point in doing ANY exhaust work if you're not planning on getting the ECU flashed.. there is literally zero gain and all you did was make the bike louder. that being said, if you do get a FULL system (the only worthwhile exhaust upgrade) and have the ECU flashed to that system for max benefit, they can tune out the servo so you wouldn't need a servo buddy anyways. they'll also tune out the AIS/smog system and the o2 sensor so you'll be free of CELs and all the restrictions and their weight in extra parts.. i dropped over 30lbs between the exhaust, lightweight antigravity battery, servo motor, passenger pegs, mirrors and rear signal/plate/undertail crap.
@@lovelivegofast there's plenty of potential in these bikes and many dyno videos to prove it. while you're absolutely correct in everything said - it's a shortcut. in removing the servo motor completely, you're not only dropping weight, but making space too so you have at least some semblance of a trunk. my wallet and phone now fit. a proper tune makes the bike run better everywhere as well. you're option is a good *start and i appreciate the content.

I want this whole setup….like noowwwwwwwww
Well if you got $90 it could be yours!
@@lovelivegofast currently looking into ordering everything, and also you got yourself a new sub, thanks alot this super useful! underrated channel!
Thanks man!
there's no point in doing ANY exhaust work if you're not planning on getting the ECU flashed.. there is literally zero gain and all you did was make the bike louder. that being said, if you do get a FULL system (the only worthwhile exhaust upgrade) and have the ECU flashed to that system for max benefit, they can tune out the servo so you wouldn't need a servo buddy anyways. they'll also tune out the AIS/smog system and the o2 sensor so you'll be free of CELs and all the restrictions and their weight in extra parts..
i dropped over 30lbs between the exhaust, lightweight antigravity battery, servo motor, passenger pegs, mirrors and rear signal/plate/undertail crap.
There's plenty of perks to our exhaust job, great sound, dropped weight, looks a lot better. If you want to be wicked fast just get a liter bike
Yeah for sure, just depends how far you want to go with a 600
