Alexander-Dennis Open Day, Farnborough 27th April 2024.

Alexander-Dennis held an open day at their Design, Developement and Aftermarket Centre in Farnborough, Hampshire, on 27th April 2024. New buses were on display together with older Dennis vehicles, rides were also being given on various AD buses.

That was a good look around the premises and the vehicles on show. My personal gripe, when reversing, is the use of hazard warning lights; totally illegal on the public highway (short as it was on that tarmac), but also unnecessary when there are reversing lights and an audible warning (now “white noise” in use.

It was an interesting day, a good insight into the way Alexander-Dennis work these days.
