I recommend you stop your car and wait for your skill chain to cash in once your skill chain reaches 100k with a 6.0 multiplier because you'll get the maximum XP (10,000) for that skill chain.

I did this as well but without racing. I've learned it's also good to go 205-210 so you receive more speed skills then you would at 250+ in the same distance. could be wrong but that's what it seems to me

These are four different starting times with 3 runs each, from the challenge start point, to the bridge over the train tracks. The other times had such low traffic density, I didn't include them. I did do this quite some time ago (a little after the "Drift Tap" method was patched), so these numbers may be outdated. Even so, starting the event in the early after noon seems to yield a significantly higher score on average, meaning you'll pretty much be guaranteed to get close the maximum 100k score before the bridge over the train tracks. This is really only applicable if you plan to do one run down the highway per event. If you plan to do about 20 minutes of runs, it's best to start the event in the morning, as shown in this video.
Don, try this in an XP car. Been using the Boss 302 HE. You'll only get ~75% of the skill score per run, but with double XP the linear scaling on the skill chain bonuses gives you net 25-50% more XP. Ended an averaged run to ~2M* XP/hr (*forgot I crashed twice).

protip! just keep the middle of the car on the line of the road. it is close enough to cars on both sides to get ultimate near miss etc and I never crash!

Something very strange happens when i try this method : sometimes i earn about 270k xp in11-12mn, sometimes it gives me only 120k by doing exactly the same things and the same number of skills points... And i confirm that triple skill boost from the skill store doesn't work with custom run. Nice tutorial though ! :)
Hey Joewon, I;m getting the exact same results with a BAC Mono HE (speed boost), even driving the left lane. at the end of the highway, where you bank your chain, you also have the 100k x 6 chain which i believe is the max for xp. I have to know, how did you (or he) filter or sort his cars in the garage to return and display only the Skill Boost HE cars. I would like to recreate this to see if i truly have all skill cars, i have over 400 cars so its a bit cumbersome to go through.
The skill bump perk doesn't working on blueprint right because it's not a race? or is it? I don't know but I usually use this method with a speed boost BAC Mono, racking up ultimate speed (3000) and ultimate near miss (1500). Usually rack up around 100K skill points times 6 at the end of the highway so that's about 3 perk points and 10000XP for about 1 minute 30 seconds.
The XP Bump skill perk does not get used when doing the bucket list. How did you get it to apply? I purchased the skill did the bucket list and went back to the the skill shop and it still had 3 remaining.
Very true, But with how many cars you pass on the opposite side of the road including all the special bonuses you get "Threading the Needle, Daredevil, Ultimate Skill Chain" All them get boosted with the Skills Car.. You end up getting more XP because of it.. Only just mind "I thoroughly did the maths and tried it out before making it" :)
So... Today I sat and levelled up 38 times... Went from 850 I'm level 888 now and banked a massive 7.825.300 XP Doesn't feel like that much when your doing it in 30 min hauls... THIS IS THE BEST METHOD FOR XP!!!

You can also do one doing passes down the highway, with cars doing 250-270 MPH and getting all the near misses, makes 4-5 thousand XP in one pass.

just did this, gained 200,000 credits from the race, leveled up 30 times, then gained 900,000 credits + 10 cars from the wheel spins. worth it

Don't need to buy any cars if you're loading up DJS's challenge. It puts you straight into the Lambo with all the HE perks intact. :D

Guys don't get discouraged if you don't have any horizon edition cars. just add him and you can do the race anyways and still drive the HE Huràcan.
