If You are using busses for reverb etc, You usually always put the effets on them on 100% wet. That makes more sense: imagine you want to increase the amount of reverb by sending more of the dry vocal to the bus. If it's not set on 100% wet, you are not only increasing the amount of reverb but also increasing the amount of dry vocal.
