Whenever I record there tend to be some electrical hum in the background. I use the Shure SM57 mic and the Scarlett Focusrite Solo, and they are both completely new. I've tried to turn the gain down on the focusrite, and the up in Logic, but when I use the gain plug in Logic it just brings the noise back. I'm so desperate, please tell me how to fix it!

Hey man I’ve had this issue many times it may just be your XLR cable. try readjusting it where it connects to the mic. Mines been so out of whack I’ve picked up radio stations I feel the pain
