Ive been wanting to get down on my knees and pray for several months. I have a hip ailment that is so painful that I couldn't. But this song had the Spirit behind it. So for the first time in several months I got on my knees and prayed. Really prayed. To God thru Jesus, Not because a horn sounded or it was a certain time of day. But because the Holy spirit urged me too. It was very painful kneeling and worse getting. up But I thought how so much more Jesus suffered for me and the very thing I was praying for was answered the same night. God is good and right all the time. As for Dale and his band, wow, hey were beyond great, and I am from North Carolina, so I know Bluegrass, Southern Gospel and the like.
I could listen to this song every day. Never forget the first time I heard them perform this at a western Mass Blue Grass Festival. Love watching the audience. They know their in the company of Greatness. It’s easy to see. Del I love you!
oh I am such and idiot! here I thought I was a failure and I stumble onto this song and its make me realize God is answering a prayer I didn't even ask for, or even know I needed. I am going through some bad times and that's not my point, but its God's timing! I didn't know what I needed to get my life straight but HE DID!! Thank you God!! Check out the Gaither Bluegrass stuff. Most of it is here on youtube. These guys and Ralph Stanley were the highlights but many great performances.
