Yeah unfortunately I agree with you. Now that I have the tool I’ll be getting an earlier jump on the snow removal from here on. Thanks for watching.

Our last couple of storms left dense heavy snow pack and I'm glad I didn't have to use one of those to clear the roof. That looks like a real tough shoulder and upper arm workout

      @theidahopanhandlers  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Yeah it was a shoulder burner that's for sure. I was only table to get the top half of the snow here, but over the next few days when it warmed up I was able to get the rest of it taken care. I'm ready for summer to push winter aside for a few months.

After a little practice I got the hang of it and was able to remove a good chunk of the snow.. man there was a lot of it! Thanks so much for checking out the vid and for the support!!

Nice video! We have a pull down style that worked well, but after 2007 and 2008 we put a steel roof on. Our house is very similar to yours, so you gotta be careful going out the back door in the winter!

Thank you!! Yeah this house was built in '97.. and the shingled roof has reached the end of its age. I'm hoping we can get a metal roof installed on it this year. With the steep pitch of the roof, I can only imagine the snow will come sliding off at a fast speed if we do that. I'm guessing you always have to look up when you go out your back door eh?? Thanks so much for the comment!

Boy your property looks beautiful in the snow!!!
I am definitely going to be adding one of those shovels to my snow removal arsenal when I get out there! That's a lot of snow on the roof for sure! Great idea to tackle it one layer at a time.
Thanks for bringing the issue of the snow possibly freezing, making it difficult to remove. That is not something that would be obvious to most. As you said, now that you have the proper tool, you can start removing the snow as soon as it is done falling. At first it looked like fun, but you can tell it was a bit of a workout after a while! 🙃 The bite cam really showed the amount of work necessary. Also, can't believe you were standing on the top rung of the ladder!!! 😝
You need to figure out a way to get the MIGHTY Kubota up there!!!! 🤪
As always, killer drone work! Loved the intro and outro!
We hope everything is back to normal now!!!
    Be well and stay safe!!!!

Thank you sir! It's a really handy tool especially when you can get ahead of the snow.. unlike me in this situation! Thankfully after I removed the top layer, the warmer weather softened up the rest over the next few days and I was able to get back out there and finish it off.
It was kinda fun to be honest! Sometimes you just have to put in the AirPods, and get to work. But after awhile it was definitely a shoulder burner. Haha yes.. I was also on the top rung for that shot. It was a calculated risk of falling off of it into a huge pile of snow :)
Haha if I could use the ol' Kubota I definitely would!! Thank you guys for watching these! I'm a bit overwhelmed with this giveaway and comments, but I'll be getting back to your emails soon!! Thanks my friend. Cheers!

@@theidahopanhandlers Glad you were able to get the rest of the snow off with out further incident!!!
You know, I think it would be fun if the snow was fresh. Oddly enough, it seemed relaxing to me! There is something satisfying about taking care of your own property. Hard to explain, but it kinda is.
Hehehehehe, yes, not exactly performing on the highwire without a net, BUT it would still leave a mark if you fell off I bet!!!
No worries about getting back to the emails!!! Don't worry about that at all. If you are too stressed, just delete them. 😜
      Stay safe and be well!

Appears to be a great tool. Seems there’s always some seasonal related chore a homeowner has to perform no matter where you live.✌️

Isn't that the truth! Here it's snow removal in the winter, and grass in the summer :) I'm thinking you probably don't have to deal with this issue where you're at? Aha thanks always for the support!

I like the pull-down style of roof-rake, that I have. May be less physically taxing than this kind shown. *Beautiful scenery/camerawork BTW!

You know I've never tried the pull-down style but I may have to look into getting one in addition to the one I have in this video. This was a shoulder burner after awhile. Thanks so much for the comment and for the view!! I really appreciate the support!
