Was probably upset that he was going to be the only ginger nut on the field without a winners medal.
Chessum has a brother in the senior setup, probably not too many celebrations in that household - he seems like a decent player, but hard to control attitude playing in a high stakes game and getting players sent off. But he will learn one would hope
Pretty sure he could've started a fight in an empty room. Always looking to start something all game.
It would also be great if Irish players didn't spend the game screaming at referee's for decisions. This is not soccer as an old bloke once said.

This Ireland team is immense, I heard Alan Quinlan say usually only 4 or 5 u20's make it into the senior team, that would be a travesty, surely more of these players with their progressive play will step up to the first team.
Legend has it next years team will be better. From what I’ve seen at age grade I wouldn’t be surprised

In all fairness Irish rugby is looking pretty good for the next generation of seniors. The conveyor belt of talent is massive and the depth just gets stronger. Slainte.
As opposed to what? Stewart’s? That was a red all day. Either make a proper tackle, attempt to win the ball or get the f&ck out of the way. Don’t body check the player who is playing the ball. You let people off for turning their shoulder and bracing and they’ll be players stretchered off in every game.
@@martinmcdonald4207 agreed as long as the number 10 coming through - I don’t see much change but one can hope. If we can have a rugby league that functions then we won’t just be a football or cricket tier 1 place, neither of which I can stand..
@@Dreyno more debatable than the super plex move that our 10 try to do - by the letter of the law it was a red, but it will also bring more players taking dives and complaining to the ref, because we have zero liability to the guy with the ball - but as it stands Rugby is getting more football like, with players crying to the ref outside of the captain so maybe I go watch rugby league again.
@@mlguy8376 Well, the way I see it we either ban players going for a loose ball or we ban players from hitting them in the head while doing it. It has to be one or the other. And the game of rugby has always encouraged people to chase a loose ball and praised players for doing it. So which is acceptable to you?
England no 5 . = big waster. Couldn't handle the fact the try wasn't grounded properly.

Well played Ireland your rugby is in a good place watched all the teams at this level and am very impressed with the coaching of the Irish team and some of the talent coming through however the most talented team are the French they have some tremendous talent coming through and it looks ominous for others now that they are starting to utilise it properly. England weren't as impressive however they do have a few that have good potential especially the big lad from London Irish in particular. Italy were ok but Scotland and Wales were way off the pace at this level.
The French are furthest along in their development. Many of these Irish players have not even joined provincial academies yet.
