Biggest drawbacks are the loud Vibrations, the bright LEDs and fact that you manually have to change the Balls used for the Auto catcher (if not using the Glitch)
What’s glitch
Is there absolutely no way to disable the vibrations? Seems like a needless battery drainer.
@@heydw543yeah lol. Im definetly not buying one until they add the feature to turn off vibrations
Vibrations aren’t even that bad imo. And you can put a sticker/film over the light if you wanted 🤷♂️ and the manual ball switching thing isn’t even bad 😂 “oh no I have to do 5 seconds of work”
@@orlandoservin5492facts lol
Got the plus + the first day it released. As someone who delivers food and groceries for a living, I’m moving around a lot but I’m unable to play most of the time. On the very first day, I got a random shiny zigzagoon with the auto catcher. Honestly, I think it’ll be worth it as someone who can’t play as much as I used to outside of community/raid days.
There were other devices before this one but I’m glad it’s from the actual company
Does it still work when driving over 25 mph? Because not much if anything spawns for me at that point
@@Mitchenzoit won't work above 40km/h
@@MitchenzoIt’s not supposed to, but I’ve noticed that while it can’t catch them spawns still appear over 25 mph. If you’re a passenger, you can still click on and catch them manually.
@@yourtypicalshadowlurker that's a plus at least!
I love how open Mystic is about niantic straight up getting data from us and selling it lmao, gotta love the honesty.. so rare these days
So then why support them? Honesty’s great but action is better
Probably because he was being flown out by them then they stopped messing with him
Niantic is on record saying they do not sell our data. Now, you can say you don’t believe them but that isn’t exactly something you can lie about because that opens you up to lawsuits.
Rare? Over 1/2 the big names are trashing Niantic lately, and for obvious reasons.
@@Knsy Then turn around and promote the game and events.
It definitely is glitching , used it for a few days and it doesn’t always autocatch with the red balls like it is supposed to. I often have to go in and turn it off and on multiple times before it kicks in. Sometimes it just requires you to push the button to catch the first one before it starts auto catching.
Same! It was even effecting my poke Ball plus as well before I got my hands on the ++.
Same
Don’t forget that auto catchers don’t catch outside of your first circle, they said they were going to remove the double catch radius but they didn’t, autocatchers won’t catch anything within the double distance ring.
I found that it is auto set to have auto catch and auto spin off so you have to switch them off and back on before the device will start catch. Annoying but it is what it is!!
@@gaikokuhito5574 yep, pretty much have to do that every time to get it to work. Sometimes more than once.
I took my plus+ apart, desoldered and removed the vibration motor. Battery lasts so much longer without the vibrator running constantly, and so much less annoying.
was it hard doing that?
@@triippy_nick No, but I do have 10 years of cellphone repair experience. Definitely some fragile parts that could be easy to damage. Watch a handful of videos to get some different perspectives or ideas.
Snipping the vibrator wires would definitely make it a little easier/faster.
I’m very glad Brandon is still posting Pokémon Go vids even after 7 years!
Bro that’s the wrong Chanel😂

As someone who never had an auto-catcher before, until this released, it’s a bit finicky but it is very useful. My only complaint is the button’s light is WAY TOO BRIGHT.
As a person that has used three different auto-catchers in the past. With the release of the new Pokemon Go ++ has created issues for all of them. It was never this finicky before. It was simply push button and start catching pokemon; now you need to select button, and check/trouble shot why the auto-catch isn`t working.
This device is huge compared to others on the market, not to mention vibration and light flashing which all others allow to be turned off. So one will make this better.
Same problem here. I turn off catch Pokemon and spin pokestops in the setting and wait a few seconds and turn them back on and it starts workinv
The gotcha is killer
Idk to much about it but ig you can paint it black from where the led lights comes from
@strmStorm
It’s incredible how you people suggest such things that essentially ruins the device and it’s value; ”paint the button with black” ”cut the wires to end the vibrations” ”tape the button”.
People seriously don’t know how to take care of their devices lmao
7:05 is exactly why I was here. Thank you!! This is all very helpful and I’m glad I got this device, so many more Pokémon. My issue is I don’t have enough poke stops. So I run out of poke balls pretty quick
I mainly got this to keep me from being unsafe while playing Pokemon go, I got it today and it was the Squirtle community day and I got four shiny squirtles from just walking and driving through town today. It's a game changer for me. Especially with work and playing at work, I can't play while I'm seeing clients but I can play passively with this device and catch Pokemon while I'm hanging out with clients all day and not have to open my phone at all. That was the major selling point for me.
Does it still work even if your phone is off? No one seems to answer this question for me lol
@@marvinvega4237 when the screen is locked it is still catching and spinning pokestops. Although, I think after a while it will disconnect, I'm not sure how long that takes though, maybe about 30 mins. But there may be a phone setting that keeps it running in the background no matter what.
@marvinvega4237 from what I've read it works as long as the app is open before you lock your screen.
@@marvinvega4237you mean like your phone is turning off? No. But Mystic7 told us it can run on the background. You can lock your phone, open another apps and etc as long as the pokego itself is still on and working. I suggest keep your pokego in check to avoid restart, which leads to disconnect
I almost got hit by a car playing this game, I'm totally considering to buy it.
Love your video! Super informative and stuck with the point :)
I bought one a few days ago and it is an absolute game changer for someone just wanting to catch any thing and everything really fast. If you want to mod yours because of the vibration, you can cut the cord to the motor inside to disable it permanently, but I hope since this is a new product, that there will be an update to make silent mode actually useful. Love just being able to carry it in my pocket and see what all I've caught later. Only downside is if I'm hiding it in my bag during class, I absolutely cannot have it on because the vibration is just too obnoxious.
3:27 made me laugh so much oml- the authenticity
If this automatically used ultra balls and didn’t need to vibrate I would consider getting one of the new autocatchera
There’s a few bugs when re-connecting. All the auto features though on do not actually work. Maybe we can make there’s really known to get them fixed quickly.
Imagine goin to church on Sunday and you hear pikachu going off on your go plus 😂
Great video! My wife and I bought ours this past weekend and honestly love it. Having used other auto catchers this one is by far the easiest to manage settings I feel. Of course, there is some bugs for Settings resetting, and the vibration is a slight pain, but overall I throw it in my fanny pack, and works great! The sleep feature is also super easy.
At what level do you think getting this is worth it ?
@@YJ-7any level, gives more xp for catch and spins ☺️
Man, I love when a research is locked behind a 60 dollar pay wall.
Niantic as a company is just an L
It’s a free game, cry about it.
At least you don't get the research and have to buy the device. The pay wall gives you the option
@@efs5030 yeah, I guess so
You get a device and it it’s a gift for getting it its a free game how do you expect them to make money cry about it
They need to add auto berries so you can choose what berries to use automatically without using it manually and then not having to bin them just to clear your storage for poke balls
They will add this in the next device, the auto catcher plus plus plus extra plus
@@abobrinhabr9694 nah that will be the feature of Ultra Hyper Pokemon Go Plus Super Turbo Championship Edition

I’m sure people will be removing or disconnecting the motor to disable the vibration. I did that with my go plus and wired the motor switch to the button to be fully auto catch/spin and prolonged the more expensive battery life.
Thanks for the tutorial. I followed the steps you took to set mine up just now.
got mine today.
was skeptical after reading tha reviews. but in all honesty i’m loving it so far. tha auto spinning poke stops helps A LOT as i’m on tha road a lot. n it catches fairly fast.

I can't wait to see the alternative devices with the same functionality or better
Okay but is there a way to choose which pokemon it's going to catch? If you have the auto catcher turned off it will usually have the pokeball symbol above the pokemon, but if you don't want to catch that one is there a way to select a different pokemon? We do not have hundreds of pokeballs to spend catching every single pokemon and are running out of balls daily (mostly because we're bad at throwing them which is why we got this thing).
the question is can you hold down the button using a rubberband to autocatch with superballs or better like the pokeball plus?
I still have my original go plus that I got on release day and thanks to the replaceable battery it still works after 7 years. I recently got the go plus + and the battery lasts a good amount of time but it’s not replaceable. We’ll see how long it last as I’ll be using it everyday. Replaceable batteries are always superior to unreplaceable rechargeable batteries.
Yeah. Have to be careful to not overcharge it
!!! DUDE!! 0:35 , The box goes on the shelf, or glass case with collectibles!! LOL
Despite what was said it’s actually better to have at least seven hours of sleep for maximum rewards which is a decent amount of Stardust and exclusive sticker and two bonus hearts for your buddy.
First it must be stated that you can use your phone for Pokemon Sleep, and your phone actually has a recording feature for loud noises (snores, coughs, etc...) while sleeping that the Plus+ does not have. Assuming you have a gotcha or other auto-catcher already, hard pass on this until something better comes out. I'm kinda lucky my preorder got delayed from Amazon, I canceled the order once I found out the G/U balls weren't autocatch and that the thing does not stop vibrating.
😂 It sings a lullaby if you have the Pikachu voice on when you put it in sleep mode! I like it way better than the Pokemon Go plus so far.
Can someone help me figure out whether the 2km eggs on riolu hatch day need to be collected on that or they just need to be incubated? I’m confused.
Can i still use the pokeball plus i got from Pokemon lets go eevee?? It cant really connect to pokemon sleep but it works perfect in pokemon go
Does the Plus + really not catch Pokémon not in your Dex? I’ve never noticed and am having trouble finding that info online.
SO what if you use ultraballs as your auto catch, and you run out? Does the go plus plus automatically use the next ball (lets say pokeball) to catch pokemon, or does it just stop catching if you have no more of the specified ball you chose?
I read that the plus plus will stop then and you need to go to the settings to chose a different ball
Unfortunately you can’t auto catch with anything except regular balls. Great and ultra are for button press catching only.
Am I the only one who likes tapping the button all the time lol it’s like a stress reliever
I’m ready for a special bike driving ability that only lasts for 1hr a day , that would be cool , the safe spoofer 😂
Loved this video!!! Really considering this now!

Wow I may have to get one. Not sure yet but looks pretty good. Love that it can use ultra balls.
Did you ever get it?
perfect to have if your just out and about shopping, out for dinner etc and dont want to be glued to your phone. mine arrives today!
I'm actually curious as to how this compares to the duomon catcher. I have been looking to get an autocatcher and am trying to figure out the best one to get.
be careful, i think somebody told me it’s risky
I have the duomon catcher and it’s quite good so far, fast and efficient catches with a decent catch rate. You could just walk around and get your inventory full without doing much. Of course there’s some small bugs with the auto catching process, but that’s on niantic’s side, as always.
that box opening killed me...
I think they are "fucking" old Pokémon GO Plus devices in purpose though, in order to make people buy the new one. I have the old GO Plus (the one that you show in the video) and it hasn't been working since 1 week ago. The only way I can connect it to my device is by resetting it (pressing once and waiting, holding the button till it turns blue, then holding again till the blue light goes off). After connecting that way, I have to turn off and on the "catch Pokémon" setting. If it dispairs, I have to do that again, otherwise it says "incorrect PIN bla bla bla". I've talked with other people and I'm not the only one having that issue. For sure I won't pay 60$ for that shit when I already have one.
@MYSTIC7 I'm not sure if you'll read this (or maybe someone else could answer this for me) but I have a question:
Does the Go Plus+ attempt to catch Pokémon even when you yourself are already manually trying to catch something? Because that's the one thing the Pokéball Plus won't do, and if this one does, I might actually buy it.
The Pokéball Plus obviously doesn't auto-catch, you have to press a button, BUT it will not locate a Pokémon at all, vibrate at all, when you yourself are trying to catch a Pokémon. It will basically stop working until you return to the overworld long enough for it to be able to "see" a Pokémon and then it'll vibrate and let you press the button again. I'm assuming this thing works the same way, but if it actually continues to auto-catch what is around you while you're trying to catch a shiny or whatever, that'd be GREAT.
What I wish people’s reviews on this device would have actually covered more in depth, was the reliability of the auto spinning feature while driving. Meaning how slow do I need to drive for it to spin stops.
maybe you should focus on driving safely instead of how to spin pokestops...
Mine hardly ever auto detects them and I just bought it yesterday. I have to disconnect it and reconnect it for it to do it...
15:20 Pokemons from lures, incenses an other stuff like that are always buggy for pokeball + so its normal
If I choose to get one of these my routine is gonna get wild just to send them really weird, Batman style sleep patterns.
Okay I got the Pokemon Go plus plus and I figured out how to use it for everything except for the sleep tracking, does Pokemon Go need to be connected to Pokemon Go plus plus at the same time when it's in sleep mode?
the yellow clip i ended up super gluing together. def a easy way to lose it. i ended up buying a belt clip for it from amazon. best thing i ever did
We don't get it until Friday here in the UK but I've definitely pre ordered mine, can't wait
Bro was flabbergasted hearing the pikachu XD
Now you can catch Pokemon while you're driving for Peace Of Mind! ;-)
It kinda works on my iphone if I have everything turned on for auto, but I can't choose to individually turn on auto-spin pokestops, because it needs me to identify nearby pokemon and auto-catch turned on or else pokestops become manual even if the setting has auto turned on.
All the bright lights and constant vibrations too... why can't we turn it off, feels like it wastes so much battery for no reason.
is the vibration as extrem and loud as the old one? or at least a little less extrem?
Certified Nintendo usb cable too, thats cool
Bro that was funny your comment on them recording our data your channel is great just back into the game. Thank you for this content
Dual Catchmon is better. Runs 2 phones with no fiddling in settings. Turn it on it works. Uses only Poke Balls about same catch rate 50%. x 2 phones =same number of catches as using ultra balls on go plus +. Uses 2 AAA batteries which last for weeks. Farms an amazing amount of Stardust. Fits in the pocket of my jeans. Fun to watch the Pokemon screen and see the catches mount up.
Sadly I messed with mine for hours and I cannot get it to throw great balls or ultra balls just keeps saying I am out of red balls. I also had a few hours of it just identifying pokemon then just not throwing at it and moving to identify the next one and yes my auto catch was on.
The Pokeball plus+ seems promising, at least you get a strap to use on it that way it won’t get lost
Does the auto spin glitch on the Pokémon go plus + or on all auto catchers since my go-tcha didn’t want to spin yesterday for some reason and I think it was because I always have the auto catch feature turned off so I don’t catch everything I see since ever since I’ve caught almost everything available in Ontario (I would say Canada but for some stupid reason pachirisu is the only pikachu clone that is regional and the on,y regional that is found in locations where the animal and or object it’s based on doesn’t live) and a few outside via events like go fest and tours I tend to get extra picky plus in a rural area the only way to get legendary Pokémon is via remote raids and I was already limited on remote raids passes and now I’m even more restricted
I don't mind the battery in the original Go Plus. Thing lasted a long time before needing replacement and I found the standard batteries more reliable than some of the trash rechargeable batteries (looking at you, original Gotcha)
That said, the Go Plus+ should be a little more reliable given it's supposedly just using a standard joycon battery.
How long does your battery last?
Are gotcha devices going to get updates for the new features?
do you need to have the app open or can you just close the app and use your phone normally, will it still work?
now question… if i’m working and tryna get shiny’s and stuff and i’m low on pokeballs. will this auto throw ultras and greats without pushing anything or do i have to push the button still?
I physically recoiled when you ripped the box open wtf
I'm so hype by the go plus + and pokemon sleep this video was so intersting 🤩
im not at all worried with niantic having my "sleep data". Being that they can tell im not playing for 8 hours a night so they know my sleep info already
Love the contnet! Keep it up!
Imagine you come across a Galarian bird for your daily incense, and it automatically throws a poke ball at it😂😂😂😂
Can have this olaying in the background while I play with my kids at the park,beach...city..anywhers there are loads of pokemon lol and they will never know LMAO
Can this have the option to aotu use raspberry or banana pineapple etc… or automatically change the ball accordingly to the Pokemon catch difficulty or give you the option to notify you when there is a legendary Pokemon from insent
As long as you're stocked on ultra and great balls, this thing is going to rip on comm days.
I've used gotchas in the past, and so far I'm liking this better, because of the fact I can use all three ball types. Connectivity hasn't dropped out either, at least not yet.
Would be better if they were all auto too
@@pookungfu yeah, I agree. A bit of a miss with that.
What phone are you using?
@@salvadorromero9525 pixel 7
@@flobert1205well I hope there will be some development. I can see why only pokeballs will be used. Because the programs can't tell (yet) which balls are the best to catch a pokemon and the program can't compute how to not waste ultra or great balls. You don't want to use those two while catching pidgey or rattata or any 10 cp pokemons would you? I hope some updates can fix this problem
I’m wondering if you can use it without a device nearby. For example, if I were to keep Pokémon go running but take the go plus + on a walk, would it still work?
Lol...who wants to walk around with that?
i have an issue with myn i dont know if its because im not moving or what but it sometimes dosent auto catch or spin stops and i have to press the button even though i have the feature on
You can track sleep while Pokémon go is open. You just can’t have the button connected to the game. Did it last night.
It doesn't always work. A lot of the time, I'm surrounded by mons and stops and this thing is doing nothing. So frustrating
Go to the settings and turn off then on the catch Pokemon and spin pokemon setting... This seems to be an issue for all auto catchers since the plus+ released
Wish it was a jiggly puff sing activated when doing the sleep feature lol
My go plus + is already having issues i pre ordered it from game stop and now it wont stay connected to my phone so i still cant finish the sleep task for the rest of my Snor with the sleeping cap its irritating
10:39 LOL Truth!
You *should* be able to de-solder vibration and unplug a ribbon cable for the LED
The original WAS updated and improved upon. it was the Pokeball controller that came with Let's go pikachu/Eevee.
This is awesome. 4 Pokémon on the screen. Caught 3, 1 got away.
Does pokemon go have to be open ? And next to my phone for the sleep feature or can I just leave it home and put it to sleep without my phone next to it ?
I'm confused. Are great and ultra ball throws not automatic?
Does it randomly make nice, great, or excellent throws?
I'm glad I got my Pokemon ++ the next day it came out in mail
Wonder how's auto reconnect works.
I mean. Gotcha does pretty well, apart from inability to choose balls, and of course, sleep track rewards.
Negative side of this new one is, it won't try arching unknown pokemons, which you can turn on and off on gotcha (altho I never tried it I just keep it on anyways).
So all in all, tempting, but has its own downsides .. think I'll pass this time.
My Pokemon go plus+ is on the way from Japan...I am excited...❤💙💛
Should always check your journal after a car drive to see what you have missed!
Your face when you heard Pikachu 😂
ordered it today should arive within 2 days cant wait
This is probably irrelevant, but i got one of my own and i must say, i admire the folds for the cardboard the device was it. I mean the whole thing feels high quality
I got a shiny sunkern off my daily incense today
Is this working automatically while driving along?
Getting mine soon!
Mystic has great videos
Been using my go plus plus love it
The auto catcher is honestly a waste in my opinion the point of the game is to have fun, that takes it all away.
