7:05 is exactly why I was here. Thank you!! This is all very helpful and I’m glad I got this device, so many more Pokémon. My issue is I don’t have enough poke stops. So I run out of poke balls pretty quick
It definitely is glitching , used it for a few days and it doesn’t always autocatch with the red balls like it is supposed to. I often have to go in and turn it off and on multiple times before it kicks in. Sometimes it just requires you to push the button to catch the first one before it starts auto catching.
Don’t forget that auto catchers don’t catch outside of your first circle, they said they were going to remove the double catch radius but they didn’t, autocatchers won’t catch anything within the double distance ring.
I found that it is auto set to have auto catch and auto spin off so you have to switch them off and back on before the device will start catch. Annoying but it is what it is!!
I bought one a few days ago and it is an absolute game changer for someone just wanting to catch any thing and everything really fast. If you want to mod yours because of the vibration, you can cut the cord to the motor inside to disable it permanently, but I hope since this is a new product, that there will be an update to make silent mode actually useful. Love just being able to carry it in my pocket and see what all I've caught later. Only downside is if I'm hiding it in my bag during class, I absolutely cannot have it on because the vibration is just too obnoxious.
They need to add auto berries so you can choose what berries to use automatically without using it manually and then not having to bin them just to clear your storage for poke balls
Great video! My wife and I bought ours this past weekend and honestly love it. Having used other auto catchers this one is by far the easiest to manage settings I feel. Of course, there is some bugs for Settings resetting, and the vibration is a slight pain, but overall I throw it in my fanny pack, and works great! The sleep feature is also super easy.
11:42 OH!!???? Is there screws on the back to hold it together?? It would be very simple to remove or defeat the vibration device! .. IF you an take it apart .. this would also extend battery life somewhat!
There’s a few bugs when re-connecting. All the auto features though on do not actually work. Maybe we can make there’s really known to get them fixed quickly.
I still have my original go plus that I got on release day and thanks to the replaceable battery it still works after 7 years. I recently got the go plus + and the battery lasts a good amount of time but it’s not replaceable. We’ll see how long it last as I’ll be using it everyday. Replaceable batteries are always superior to unreplaceable rechargeable batteries.
Dual Catchmon is better. Runs 2 phones with no fiddling in settings. Turn it on it works. Uses only Poke Balls about same catch rate 50%. x 2 phones =same number of catches as using ultra balls on go plus +. Uses 2 AAA batteries which last for weeks. Farms an amazing amount of Stardust. Fits in the pocket of my jeans. Fun to watch the Pokemon screen and see the catches mount up.
First it must be stated that you can use your phone for Pokemon Sleep, and your phone actually has a recording feature for loud noises (snores, coughs, etc...) while sleeping that the Plus+ does not have. Assuming you have a gotcha or other auto-catcher already, hard pass on this until something better comes out. I'm kinda lucky my preorder got delayed from Amazon, I canceled the order once I found out the G/U balls weren't autocatch and that the thing does not stop vibrating.
Okay but is there a way to choose which pokemon it's going to catch? If you have the auto catcher turned off it will usually have the pokeball symbol above the pokemon, but if you don't want to catch that one is there a way to select a different pokemon? We do not have hundreds of pokeballs to spend catching every single pokemon and are running out of balls daily (mostly because we're bad at throwing them which is why we got this thing).
Despite what was said it’s actually better to have at least seven hours of sleep for maximum rewards which is a decent amount of Stardust and exclusive sticker and two bonus hearts for your buddy.
SO what if you use ultraballs as your auto catch, and you run out? Does the go plus plus automatically use the next ball (lets say pokeball) to catch pokemon, or does it just stop catching if you have no more of the specified ball you chose?
As long as you're stocked on ultra and great balls, this thing is going to rip on comm days. I've used gotchas in the past, and so far I'm liking this better, because of the fact I can use all three ball types. Connectivity hasn't dropped out either, at least not yet.
@@flobert1205well I hope there will be some development. I can see why only pokeballs will be used. You don't want to use those two while catching pidgey or rattata or any 10 cp pokemons would you? I hope some updates can fix this problem
I’m sure people will be removing or disconnecting the motor to disable the vibration. I did that with my go plus and wired the motor switch to the button to be fully auto catch/spin and prolonged the more expensive battery life.

I have the duomon catcher and it’s quite good so far, fast and efficient catches with a decent catch rate. You could just walk around and get your inventory full without doing much. Of course there’s some small bugs with the auto catching process, but that’s on niantic’s side, as always.
Go to the settings and turn off then on the catch Pokemon and spin pokemon setting... This seems to be an issue for all auto catchers since the plus+ released
im not at all worried with niantic having my "sleep data". Being that they can tell im not playing for 8 hours a night so they know my sleep info already
I’m wondering if you can use it without a device nearby. For example, if I were to keep Pokémon go running but take the go plus + on a walk, would it still work?
I don't mind the battery in the original Go Plus. Thing lasted a long time before needing replacement and I found the standard batteries more reliable than some of the trash rechargeable batteries (looking at you, original Gotcha) That said, the Go Plus+ should be a little more reliable given it's supposedly just using a standard joycon battery.
@MYSTIC7 I'm not sure if you'll read this (or maybe someone else could answer this for me) but I have a question: Does the Go Plus+ attempt to catch Pokémon even when you yourself are already manually trying to catch something? Because that's the one thing the Pokéball Plus won't do, and if this one does, I might actually buy it. The Pokéball Plus obviously doesn't auto-catch, you have to press a button, BUT it will not locate a Pokémon at all, vibrate at all, when you yourself are trying to catch a Pokémon. It will basically stop working until you return to the overworld long enough for it to be able to "see" a Pokémon and then it'll vibrate and let you press the button again. I'm assuming this thing works the same way, but if it actually continues to auto-catch what is around you while you're trying to catch a shiny or whatever, that'd be GREAT.
Sadly I messed with mine for hours and I cannot get it to throw great balls or ultra balls just keeps saying I am out of red balls. I also had a few hours of it just identifying pokemon then just not throwing at it and moving to identify the next one and yes my auto catch was on.
now question… if i’m working and tryna get shiny’s and stuff and i’m low on pokeballs. will this auto throw ultras and greats without pushing anything or do i have to push the button still?
I don't know what Niantic did but seems like my Duoman hasn't been working as well as it should. Did they nerf older autocatchers or something? Poke Daxi said he noticed the same thing.
I has problems with my 247 catch device for a week but now it works correctly if I reconnect not with button on the main screen but with going to settings menu
It's just another common Niantic L... This seems to be happening to everyone, 3rd party and official catchers... What has been working for me is turning off and then on the catch Pokemon and spin pokestops settings... It's not 100% but it works 95% of the time and lets me actually use my device.
It kinda works on my iphone if I have everything turned on for auto, but I can't choose to individually turn on auto-spin pokestops, because it needs me to identify nearby pokemon and auto-catch turned on or else pokestops become manual even if the setting has auto turned on. All the bright lights and constant vibrations too... why can't we turn it off, feels like it wastes so much battery for no reason.
TH-camrs: “let’s stop giving Niantic so much money since their greedy and don’t listen to the community which is blatantly obvious by doubling the price of remote raid pass and putting a daily cap on it and continuing to lock new pokemon behind a pay wall” Also TH-camrs: “yeah Pokemon Go Plus+ is pretty cool… so I’m gonna ignore or breeze over the fact that the rare event snorlax is locked behind a 60$ pay wall now.”

@@TagforceGamerummmm are you sure cause I do remember seeing that the research shown in the today view during the event slot, where it tells you how many hours or days until the event ends.
I think they are "fucking" old Pokémon GO Plus devices in purpose though, in order to make people buy the new one. I have the old GO Plus (the one that you show in the video) and it hasn't been working since 1 week ago. The only way I can connect it to my device is by resetting it (pressing once and waiting, holding the button till it turns blue, then holding again till the blue light goes off). After connecting that way, I have to turn off and on the "catch Pokémon" setting. If it dispairs, I have to do that again, otherwise it says "incorrect PIN bla bla bla". I've talked with other people and I'm not the only one having that issue. For sure I won't pay 60$ for that shit when I already have one.
The only way to accurately compare catch rates between the different balls would be for everything to have the same cp and no weather boost. Even different Pokemon with the same CP likely have different catch rates.
A new pokemon which you have never caught before will NOT throw a ball, and instead the button will display a solid YELLOW light. You than have to open your app and catch it by hand (allowing you to use an ultra ball and and a berry). However, if you click the Yellow light, it will try to catch it for you.
Just ordered mine so we’ll see how it goes. I hope I can have the pokestop spin on and working without it catching Pokémon like it should. That way I can really stock up on poke balls without spending even more money on coins
Does the auto spin glitch on the Pokémon go plus + or on all auto catchers since my go-tcha didn’t want to spin yesterday for some reason and I think it was because I always have the auto catch feature turned off so I don’t catch everything I see since ever since I’ve caught almost everything available in Ontario (I would say Canada but for some stupid reason pachirisu is the only pikachu clone that is regional and the on,y regional that is found in locations where the animal and or object it’s based on doesn’t live) and a few outside via events like go fest and tours I tend to get extra picky plus in a rural area the only way to get legendary Pokémon is via remote raids and I was already limited on remote raids passes and now I’m even more restricted
My go plus + is already having issues i pre ordered it from game stop and now it wont stay connected to my phone so i still cant finish the sleep task for the rest of my Snor with the sleeping cap its irritating
Does pokemon go have to be open ? And next to my phone for the sleep feature or can I just leave it home and put it to sleep without my phone next to it ?
What I wish people’s reviews on this device would have actually covered more in depth, was the reliability of the auto spinning feature while driving. Meaning how slow do I need to drive for it to spin stops.

do you need to have the app open or can you just close the app and use your phone normally, will it still work?
Now you can catch Pokemon while you're driving for Peace Of Mind! ;-)
I don't mind the battery in the original Go Plus. Thing lasted a long time before needing replacement and I found the standard batteries more reliable than some of the trash rechargeable batteries (looking at you, original Gotcha)
That said, the Go Plus+ should be a little more reliable given it's supposedly just using a standard joycon battery.
How long does your battery last?
If I choose to get one of these my routine is gonna get wild just to send them really weird, Batman style sleep patterns.
I want one so bad, it looks like an amazing auto catcher
Your profile pic🤣🤣😭 I love it lmao
@@megaturtle23 why thank you
@hippodoane they cost over 100 usd tho
@hippodoanei’ve bought two different ones off amazon for 100 and neither of them worked reliably
Next Niantic will ask us what time we usually go to the bathrooms and take a shit
is the vibration as extrem and loud as the old one? or at least a little less extrem?
@MYSTIC7 I'm not sure if you'll read this (or maybe someone else could answer this for me) but I have a question:
Does the Go Plus+ attempt to catch Pokémon even when you yourself are already manually trying to catch something?
Mine is having a problem. I still can’t catch with ultra balls and blue balls… help?
now question… if i’m working and tryna get shiny’s and stuff and i’m low on pokeballs. will this auto throw ultras and greats without pushing anything or do i have to push the button still?
I don't know what Niantic did but seems like my Duoman hasn't been working as well as it should. Did they nerf older autocatchers or something? Poke Daxi said he noticed the same thing.
I has problems with my 247 catch device for a week but now it works correctly if I reconnect not with button on the main screen but with going to settings menu
It's just another common Niantic L... This seems to be happening to everyone, 3rd party and official catchers... What has been working for me is turning off and then on the catch Pokemon and spin pokestops settings... It's not 100% but it works 95% of the time and lets me actually use my device.
the yellow clip i ended up super gluing together. def a easy way to lose it. i ended up buying a belt clip for it from amazon. best thing i ever did
Wow I may have to get one. Not sure yet but looks pretty good. Love that it can use ultra balls.
Did you ever get it?
It kinda works on my iphone if I have everything turned on for auto, but I can't choose to individually turn on auto-spin pokestops, because it needs me to identify nearby pokemon and auto-catch turned on or else pokestops become manual even if the setting has auto turned on.
All the bright lights and constant vibrations too... why can't we turn it off, feels like it wastes so much battery for no reason.
TH-camrs: “let’s stop giving Niantic so much money since their greedy and don’t listen to the community which is blatantly obvious by doubling the price of remote raid pass and putting a daily cap on it and continuing to lock new pokemon behind a pay wall”
Also TH-camrs: “yeah Pokemon Go Plus+ is pretty cool… so I’m gonna ignore or breeze over the fact that the rare event snorlax is locked behind a 60$ pay wall now.”
The Pokeball plus+ seems promising, at least you get a strap to use on it that way it won’t get lost
After reading the comments I'll wait til some bugs are fixed but i really am happy that we know have an official AUTO-catcher no button presses needed
Good for you. Mine caught a galarian zapdos today
@@IVANOOZE69good for you?? Not sure why you needed to say so since no one asked.
Can this have the option to aotu use raspberry or banana pineapple etc… or automatically change the ball accordingly to the Pokemon catch difficulty or give you the option to notify you when there is a legendary Pokemon from insent
Is this working automatically while driving along?
Certified Nintendo usb cable too, thats cool
Thanks for the tutorial. I followed the steps you took to set mine up just now.
perfect to have if your just out and about shopping, out for dinner etc and dont want to be glued to your phone. mine arrives today!
I'm confused. Are great and ultra ball throws not automatic?
should i buy the pokemon go plus + or the duomon catcher? or evo gotcha? tyvm for any replies
that box opening killed me...
I tried pre ordering it and they cancelled my order due to availability 😭. Does anyone know if I buy one in like a month or so will I be able to still get the snorlax with the night cap ? 😫
the nightcap snorlax special research is permanent. even if you connect the Pokemon GO Plus+ for the first time next year, you will still get the special research. no worries
@@TagforceGamer that’s great news! 🙌🏼👏🏼☺️
They are millions of them at walmart/gamestops
@@TagforceGamerummmm are you sure cause I do remember seeing that the research shown in the today view during the event slot, where it tells you how many hours or days until the event ends.
@@somchaisaetang3974 thats the “Catching Some Z’s” event not the Snorlax Night Cap Special Research
3:27 Pikachu Pikachu. Dear God!
You can track sleep while Pokémon go is open. You just can’t have the button connected to the game. Did it last night.
For sure I won't pay 60$ for that shit when I already have one.
the only question i've got is if it will auto-spin pokestops and auto-catch pokemon even while my phone is off? or
yes
The only way to accurately compare catch rates between the different balls would be for everything to have the same cp and no weather boost. Even different Pokemon with the same CP likely have different catch rates.
A new pokemon which you have never caught before will NOT throw a ball, and instead the button will display a solid YELLOW light. You than have to open your app and catch it by hand (allowing you to use an ultra ball and and a berry). However, if you click the Yellow light, it will try to catch it for you.
he already explained that in the video
Just ordered mine so we’ll see how it goes. I hope I can have the pokestop spin on and working without it catching Pokémon like it should. That way I can really stock up on poke balls without spending even more money on coins
Did it work as it should with only spinning pokestops and not catching Pokémon?
@@jaybee2530in theory you can just disable auto catch and not press the catch button at the device. Ignore the lights and vibration and there you go
Does the auto spin glitch on the Pokémon go plus + or on all auto catchers since my go-tcha didn’t want to spin yesterday for some reason and I think it was because I always have the auto catch feature turned off so I don’t catch everything I see since ever since I’ve caught almost everything available in Ontario (I would say Canada but for some stupid reason pachirisu is the only pikachu clone that is regional and the on,y regional that is found in locations where the animal and or object it’s based on doesn’t live) and a few outside via events like go fest and tours I tend to get extra picky plus in a rural area the only way to get legendary Pokémon is via remote raids and I was already limited on remote raids passes and now I’m even more restricted
Can you select multiple types of balls? So it can only use regular balls and great balls
no
My go plus + is already having issues i pre ordered it from game stop and now it wont stay connected to my phone so i still cant finish the sleep task for the rest of my Snor with the sleeping cap its irritating
Does pokemon go have to be open ? And next to my phone for the sleep feature or can I just leave it home and put it to sleep without my phone next to it ?
I physically recoiled when you ripped the box open wtf
If you don’t like this comment you don’t like Pokémon go :)
What I wish people’s reviews on this device would have actually covered more in depth, was the reliability of the auto spinning feature while driving. Meaning how slow do I need to drive for it to spin stops.
maybe you should focus on driving safely instead of how to spin pokestops...
Does anyone know yet if we can transfer the sleep cap Snorlax to Pokemon Home? If not then I don't need to buy this device to have a living form dex.
No. A Snorlax with a night cap is badly forced to stay behind.
So unlike the pokeball plus I cannot put any Pokémon into the device? Only the Pikachu it comes with?
!!! DUDE!! 0:35 , The box goes on the shelf, or glass case with collectibles!! LOL
