You can basically get lvl 30 easily in one day with no purchases just with the free eggs from level up bonuses. Crazy how much more xp you get compared to back in 2016
Go fest is definitely great for people just starting, I went to the nyc go fest on the 20th (yesterday), had a great time. My aunt and uncle tagged along and they made accounts just for it and got looooads of stuff

I remember when I got soft banned once for literally now reason, I started another account (back in the day before events, when you had to pidgey evolve for XP and such) and got to 20 in a day, and 30 in a week. I imagine 30 in a day is definitely possible now.
honestly, had issues since I had Verizon (there were issues with that service provider on Saturday in the park) so left the park after only about 45 min. BUT, city was a blast and I hope to go to the next one if they offer the same city stuff again! They also gave an extra 3 or 4 hrs of spawns in the city on Saturday due to those issues which was fun.

I think the meteorite is used to teach it the special move that allows it to mega evolve. So, you'd need 1 for each Raquaza you want to mega.
I don't think they will because they haven't mentioned it, but i hope sigilyph will be available during the global go fest next week
