Historian❌Distorian✅. Doesn’t even know Sanskrit and Is writing on Ancient India. Hypocrisy at its best 😂😂. Follow Dr. Meenakshi Jain’s work for Authentic History.

Leftist historians were bad but the Hondutva historians are even worse. Leftist historians would give a trashy interpretation of the available facts, but BJP historians simply ignore the facts.

Further, knowing Sanskrit is not indispensable for the study of history, as there are many great academic translations of the various historical texts. Knowing sanskrit can be useful but not necessary.
If we extend this logic of knowing a certain language for proper study of history, then sanskrit itself will not suffice as the historical sources are in a wide array of languages- the various prakrits of different regions, the different apabhramsas of medieval india, further one will also have to learn Greek, Latin, Chinese And Arabic for studying the accounts of foreign travellers , which are quite important while studying history.
Forget all these, even Sanskrit itself can be subdivided into various stages- vedic Sanskrit, epic age Sanskrit, classical Sanskrit.
Sooner or later one will have to depend on translations. The important thing is to make sure that the translations are accurate.
