- Over 33,000 people were stuck inside Shanghai Disneyland after it was discovered one person who visited tested positive for COVID-19. As a precaution, the entire park was placed on lockdown, while each and every guest was tested. Visitors were reportedly told to self-isolate, and will have to retest within 24 hours of leaving Shanghai Disneyland. Disney says the theme park will be closed for two days, but promised ticketed guests will be able to return in the next 6 months or get a refund.

If this happened in the US, I doubt we'd get a refund at the Disney Parks.
The park wouldn’t be locked down, and 90% of the people wouldn’t be wearing a mask. If it were to be locked down, it would have been like the Travis Scott concert, and people mowed down, trying to escape the park. In addition to that, the park would have never closed for two days. The US is more concerned with their individualism and capitalism, than to care for the masses being infected with COVID.
You doubt because you've never worked at Disney parks. You totally would have gotten the refund.
And if they forced you to do the right thing and wait around until you can get tested... You could probably complain and get something extra out of them.

How the hell did they find out? I went to Disney the weekend before 4th of July weekend and the next week we found out one of the people we were with tested positive for COVID but none of us got it and we all interacted with her and stayed in the same place with her 🤔
