Bob Iger should now address his 2015 video Win-Win official office interview - ....Did you know that in 2015, on video, Robert Iger has publicly admitted that he evidently blackmailed his former boss at ABC to advance his career which lead to working at Disney.. Here is word for word quote of Robert Iger (from the Iger taped interview) ----- “In terms of adversity, what I remember most is , early on in my career at ABC, I was twenty three years old, I had a boss that was corrupt. And he wanted me to help him do some stuff that wasn’t appropriate, and I was trying to figure out how to turn him in. And so, I asked a few people about him, and it got back to him that I was saying bad things. They happened to been true, but bad. And he called me into his office and he said, he said Iger, you’re not promotable, and I am going to give you two weeks to find another job somewhere in this company, or I am going to fire you. And I got a job at ABC sports, and it actually helped launch my career.”

each new park does it better and bigger and keeps advancing technology, they learn from our parks and up it x2 so I'm hoping we can keep refurbishing our USA parks but still keep the classic idea that Walt envisioned, but wow he'd be amazed.

@@hdawg4404 Because Shanghai Disney hasn't had time to expand yet. They went all out with Paris and that turned out to be a disaster. They want to test public perception of the park before they go ahead with expansion plans. Shanghai has plans to build a Zootopia land! Meanwhile, WDW has been around for almost 50 years. They had plenty of time to expand and add.
I loved the Disneyland in Shanghai! Everything was designed with detail and it was actually quite clean. And the enchanted castle is spectacular!!

I love how every time they make a park the castle gets bigger and more extravagant.
Hands down the greatest park I've ever been too. Just utterly breathtaking experience. I spent 4 days here and still felt it wasn't enough.
The craftsmanship and detail that you can only see with your eyes was beyond anything I've seen.
I only pray the Tron ride and Pirates come to Disney world. The best rides, especially Pirates, by far the best dark ride I've ever ridden and probably the most complexed ride system ever developed.
I only wish it wasn't so annoying to get there. But it was worth it. 100%.

In 2 months I will be at both Chinese parks
I wish Star Wars land and the new marvel land previously known as Bugs Land would go up with such urgency as Shanghai. I have never remembered so much of Disneyland being shut down for refurbishment or deconstruction and reconstruction at such frequency as they have done in the past several years. With that being said; I absolutely love Disneyland even with everything shutting down. I did miss the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, and a couple other faves over in California Adventure. I guess there’s always next time which is exactly what Bob Igor wants😉.

You need to make a Disney park in Canada! I know there will be some people who will think of the main reason ( to them ) why Disney shouldn't build a theme park in Canada which is that it becomes too cold in the winter. Most of those people don't know we have our own large theme park , Canada's Wonderland. Now if you still want to doubt explain to me why that is still here after all these years and doesn't have any problems.
You would think the castle should follow ancient Chinese architecture and modelling this is a Europe inspired castle might I add it looks more like a religious structure cathedral or grand mosque or both lol
I wish we have a Disneyland here in the Philippines so we don't need to go to Hong Kong or Tokyo or this new one the Shanghai Disney but the Philippines's lack of infrastructures plus poverty and being a third world makes that dream hopelessly impossible 😔 maybe they can build it in Singapore a rich country and a well known one.

As someone aesthetically driven I've always wanted to work with animation as it meant I could incorporate music, story and aesthetics all in one. Now watching this I'm starting to question if that's what I really want to do.

Very impressive Disney park!! BUT in general lines, as a conclusion about the Shanghai park, is that you can not find even one classic "cartoon" animated attraction. All of the attractions are from the "live-actors-movies" and not from animated ones. I don't know if this is a good or a bad thing.
Seven dwarfs mine train? The many adventures of winnie the Pooh? Peter Pan's flight? Dumbo the flying elephant? And there is even a Fantasia carousel.
I'm going to China soon, i hope that we will go visit there!

To be honest, I'm not that thrilled looking at this park. It's to different. Might as well call it a different name.
Yeah well. Disney made a theme park in France that wasn't incorporated all that much (the castle was subtler, some of the rides were based on Jules Verne)...
It was a total flop. They also made a theme park in Hong Kong that was very Americana and it flopped.
Can't blame them for going with more Chinese this time, really.
