He is the most successful athlete from Africa in the USA. He is one in a million and one of the all time greats. He once said that there is room in basketball for everybody. Who will disagree with that?
Most Hakeem's properties and businesses were not mentioned here, and that's because his lifestyle right after his retirement has been very private and modest. I admire his ways.
One of the greatest ever to have done it. Listen to how other greats talk about him, will let u know how. As a Nigerian myself, I’m proud of him and happy for him.
Hakeem, the Dream! Certainly one of the greatest basketballers of all time. May God grant you more years to live and inspire the generations after you.
I AM VERY HAPPY TO HEAR ABOUT HIM AGAIN; AND THAT HE HAS A HAPPY LARGE FAMILY; STILL BLESSED. HE WAS VERY FREE HEARTED WHEN WE WERE IN SCHOOL . HE IS STILL THE SAME,
Thank you sir for all you have done for the city of Houston. I grew up during your dominant era. I sat glued to the tv watching you dream shake. Thankyou sir your work effort and dedication inspired me .
Akeem is a Yoruba Man, just like the Chinese and Japanese he humbles himself meaning he keeps strength under control. Well done brother allow me to say Omore bi iyan. Akeem will definitely understand the meaning of the Yoruba word
When i was in Nigeria, I went to " Olajuwon House", which was funny, because the people I was visiting name was very similar. Best 21 days of my life, Love Nigeria.
I was a new York Knicks fan at the 90 eras ,even I wasn't a fan of the rockets,I had to admit his greatness talent, people these forgot to mention his name as one of the greatest big man.
CONGRATULATIONG!HAKEEM OLAJUWON!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 YOU'RE WERE MY #1 HOUSTON ROCKET PLAYER SINCE 1994 (WE Y'ALL WERE "THE CHAMPIONS"!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉. MAY "ALMIGHTY" JESUS CHRIST "BLESS" YOU."ABUNDANTLY"&"ALWAYS"!
He probably owned half or more than half of Houston, an unamusing quiet and private man, who will do anything for you. Did I forget to mention he was also one of the greatest NBA players of all time? He's blessed.
I used to watch him play while I ate dinner as a kid. Then wait for the Houston Chronicle the next morning after big games. To cut out the epical pics from the sports section. Fran Blinebury. And staple them to the wall in my bedroom. That wall had 50+ staples in it! I live 2 miles away. If it’s for sale I’ll buy my dad’s old house for my son to live in that room! And Sengun can be his Dream.
I'm not sure if the video was about Akeem or an ad for luxury mansions and vehicles. Even more confusing to the newcomers is the video showing former San Antonio Spurs great Robinson while referring to Akeem Olajuwom.
Wow, playing with the Rockets. The dream never had an All-Star player play with him. That’s what make him so exceptional There were no Big three in Houston like it was with the Lakers and Chicago and Miami and Golden State
The images you show are not of his actual residences. The Sugarland home he resides in is 8,425-square-foot, valued at $4 million, with a custom white concrete fence around the entire property that prevents visibility from the road or neighbors. Although he enjoys a lake view, his residence cannot be seen from the lake. His pool, in fact, is positioned on the right side of the house, not near any infinity-style design.
This video spent more time describing the in and out of Hakeem's houses. I would have appreciated knowing more about his life than ranting on and on about his mansions and cars. Smh
That school is not Islamic Teachers Training College but MUSLIM TEACHERS TRAINING COLLEGE on Randle Avenue, Surulere Local Government. It was owned by the Lagos State Government.
Yes oooo, my sister, gone are the days when we have our inter house sport activities at National Stadium Oni kanmi Surulere, that's when his destiny journey started
I pass by the Nasa road property almost every day. It's not looking too good. Looks like nobody has maintained the property for about a year. Sure would like to know what he's going to do with it. The property is not for sale and I wish he would just sell it so it can be developed.
This is click bate. 95% is just saying stuff about bs homes other nonsense. Then last minute you have a picture of another basketball player only saying 45 seconds about family.
Dream is such a great man. I was in charge of security when he was a memorial southwest hospital in 1989 or 1990. Watching his feet hanging out the bed 🛌 was so funny! He came to one of my comedy shows. Andy paid for one of his parking tickets when one of the valet was giving him a hard time! Love to hear from him!
Hakeem Olajuwon is a great basketball player with memorable achievements. However since he moved to Houston, Texas, he seemed to have turned his back to the basketball community in his home country of Nigeria. He didn't support the game in Nigeria or paid back to the country that produced him. Imagine what his large image could have done for the game not just in Nigeria but in black Africa. But Hakeem Olajuwon prefered to assimilate himself into the American system without even looking back.
@veeeeneerkay6098 It's doubtful. Given his high profile, Hakeem could not have organized training camps without the media knowledge or without any cooperation with the Nigerian Basketball Association . Otherwise the so called basketball training camps didn't worth any value.
He is the most successful athlete from Africa in the USA. He is one in a million and one of the all time greats. He once said that there is room in basketball for everybody. Who will disagree with that?

Exactly! Yoruba pride.❤🎉🎉🎉
He’s from Lagos, had his earliest years in Surulere.

Chinese are humble? Story! They turn lioness when they make it and become mean towards us
He need more books written about him. I think he only has just 2 books written on him at the most !!
Kudos to you the dream, Hakeem olajuwon
The white oak is perfect, things look clean and modern yet warm.
The Dream! Great humble personality 😉
When i was in Nigeria, I went to " Olajuwon House", which was funny, because the people I was visiting name was very similar. Best 21 days of my life, Love Nigeria.
Bobo of late 70's till 1980 when we graduated from Muslim Teacher Training College, my height then was at his thigh, God bless you Akeem the dream
The DREAM!!!!!
Top 5 player of all time for me and an even better human being!
I remember watching Olajuwon in Rowe Park Lagos in the 80s. A super good talent, well-done egbon, more wins.
GREATNESS
That was not Olajuwon's Sugarland home, us locals know that for a fact, nice try tho...
Great guy
Hakeem the dream

Because he's not an American my brother.

I don't know what to believe, You show David Robinson talking at the end. If you make that mistake, what else is false.
He probably owned half or more than half of Houston, an unamusing quiet and private man, who will do anything for you. Did I forget to mention he was also one of the greatest NBA players of all time? He's blessed.

Akeem the dream as he was known then.
Love your video ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I know his house in Lagos. He also engage in a lot of humanitarian activities
Real good, kudos hakeem, from your accomplishments in the history of N B A.
It's wonderful to learn how Hakeem has made it in "God's own country." He couldn't have done so in our own Naija
God is for the Entire world not one country.
Why is David Robinson being shown for the last half of the video🤔
I expected the life of Hakeem to include his stay in Jordan too.
Good Dude
is this video about Olajuwon or about real state?.. im confused..narrator sure educated us on real estate though
Exactly
Great,Greater, Greatest man of Honor. Dream#34
South African can never produce such an iconic icon like this.
Why should you say that? It's very un-Nigerian of you!
Yeah... very un-Nigerian.
WRONG!!!
You spoke like animal, you are a disgrace to entire Yoruba’s and Nigerians at large
Never say Never
At the end we don't know that much about Olajuwon. And why do you have Robinson on this video?
6:02 lol why Ewing staring down at Jordan like that!?
Beginning at 23 mins of the video you are showing David Robinson Not Akeem.
Hmmm...
I learned more about real estate and fancy vehicles than the person.
...LOL...i thought i was the only person who was beginning to feel that way
Because this world only worry about status, nobody cares much about the person😢
This is click bate.
Why are they featuring David Robinson in the video?
work of AI
Yep. That’s why I didn’t like or subscribe.🤨
What was David Robinson doing in that footage towards the end??
Was that an attempt to undermine Olajuwon?
We all look alike apparently.
Good Story. However it shows another reason not to depend on AI. 24:33mins that was not Hakeem 😂😅
Hakeem Olajuwon proud Nigeria
Did anyone else notice David Robinson @ 24:26?
That's what AI does
The one player that Michael Jordan feared
The dream. Kuddos to him

There were no Big three in Houston like it was with the Lakers and Chicago and Miami and Golden State
In the Rockets championship years, he had Clyde Drexler and Sam Cassell.
Later Charles Barkley joined the Rockets after their 2 championship wins.
❤ Hakeem. Omo gidi.
did any of his chidren play basket ball?

Going for Bowie in the draft instead of Jordan 😂😂
Why is David Robinson being shown???😂😂😂😂
His younger brother and I went to the same school in surulere onitolo high school he later left for US to further his studies in 1985.
This is a real estate ad 😂
