Hi Ben! Love your content. Very informative and it honestly calmed my nerves and answered my mostly asked questions. I’m flying for the first time alone very soon, and this video definitely helped me. How would I calm my nerves and what should I do if I have a panic attack?
Hi Halle, that is a really good question. I am not sure I am the right person to answer this question as I have never experienced a panic attack myself but I have had friends who have and I will share what I have learned from them. First, panic attacks occur because of the thoughts that are running through your head such as fear of flying and claustrophobia being the most common triggers for a panic attack. Some of the best ways to deal with an oncoming panic attack, according to my friends, is to distract yourself. This could be journaling, coloring, listening to music, reading, having a conversation with someone, anything that will help you distract yourself from the thoughts of fear. Another thing you could try is downloading a breathing exercise app to help you focus on your breathing. As you become more anxious or panicky, your breathing can become shallow and fast, which can lead to increased anxiety and feelings of being out of control. Other things you can try is visualizing a happy place that you can go to if you start to feel anxious as well as downloading a movie or show that will make you laugh or feel happy. Hopefully someone else can chime as well to provide some other tips. Glad to hear you have found my content helpful and I hope that your first time flying alone goes smoothly for you and panic attack free.
Sir pleases to see ur video , very informative ...have 2 queries pls respond 🙏..firstly, this year going to be ny first international travel to canada n have minimum 2 stops layover , so how i will.know abt the airlines if they r collaborated ? Secondly, wt sign board have to look for getting into my connecting flights ?? Pls help ..thanku sir
Hi, to answer your first question the best way to know if the airlines you will be flying on are partner airlines is to enter your booking reservation number on the first airline you will be flying on through their website. If all of your flights show up then you know the airlines are partnered together. I am not sure I understand your second question but I think you are asking about how to look up your flight information for your connecting flights. There will be screens throughout the airport where you will be able to look up your flight and gate information. You can also find the information on the airline website or on the airline app. I hope that helps.
Yes, once you check in online you will receive a digital boarding pass and once you have that you can head straight to TSA security. If you have to check a bag then you will need to stop at the airline check-in area to get your bag tagged before heading to TSA.
Hey Ben...I'm going to fly for the first time to America. I fly from Fiji to San fransisco and then transit to chicago...than to dayton ohio. It's a Long long flight and I'm having anxiety. How am I gonna do this??. But your videos are very helpful. Thank you and looking forward for more tips.
Hi Irene, good to hear from you again! Flying from Fiji to Dayton is a very long flight. I don't know how long your layovers are but you might want to look into getting into one of the airline lounges in either San Francisco or Chicago. You may have to purchase a day pass to use them but it will be a much more comfortable spot to rest and they can also provide a place to sleep and shower. Just something to consider to help you relieve some stress and anxiety.
What questions can I help answer?
As a teen, is it ok for me to show just my passport as ID instead of a driver's license?
@@lilpatil6565 Yes, a passport is always acceptable.
Thanks for all the info best video on TH-cam.
Thank you! I appreciate it. Glad it was helpful!
