A search threw up this from their blog, August 2021: "You can now use your own custom domain for your Payhip store."

Hello Mey! Started Payhip a few days ago and have had a few onlookers but no sales. I was struggling to decide between Payhip and Gumroad, so I started looking on TH-cam and there you were.) Was watching many of your videos and then truly turned to you once I saw your struggling to succeed video. It was so close to home, I have a similar debilitating spinal problem. It became a true disability just over 4 years ago. For me, the mental part is the hardest. But, then when I had to really slow down I also was diagnosed with Asperger's and ADHD. Not expected over 50, but it did explain many things... Any who, truly glad to have found your videos. Not sure how you do it all? You are inspiring! Thank you.) Also, you showed a video on free websites but at what point should one do a paid site? Before you ask, I am trying to sell digital downloads of the music I create. Mostly from my TH-cam channel. Obviously= the more you try out the better your chances are, but if blogging is just not YOU- forget about it and focus primarily on Pinterest and IG. 2. I'm guessing you're referring to Google SEO ?. Well, you are technically on Payhip- meaning their domain, their SEO score... But as any page on their platform is a page online- it IS scanned by Google. Looking at their code it looks as if they're doing a good job "reporting" the data type on the page to Google. 3. Do you mean an email once a purchase is made? Cause if so- you get several- from the platform + from paypal/Stripe. 4. I would say choose the currency that is on your Paypal/Stripe account :) 5. I honestly don't know, my first store was set for USD and I got USD into Paypal, so I don't know if it was because of my settings or the system's. I do know that PayHip's online support are very nice people, and I believe this question should be sent to them

1. You get the emails as clients pay with PayPal, and you can also connect PayHip to an email service for newsletters- and so that every buyer would automatically be added to a mailing list! 2. I did not see invoicing in their system. I would suggest simply asking them about it- or even offering them this idea if they don't have it yet!

Well, if you're selling a printable book- would be easier for people to print it as a PDF. BUT, make sure, if you want, to have 2 designed files of PDF, one in the A4 printer paper size, and one in US lettersize, so you'd be able to have clients worldwide able to easily print your book :)

I myself am using Payhip as the main website for this channel meytribe.com and I sell my clipart and fonts there. I think I was "updating" on that pretty much every single month in my monthly goals videos. there have also been videos on creating a links page with Payhip and embedding a product page from Payhip into wordpress . Not sure what would an update video be like other than "I am still using it, and anyone can see it, there are links in every single video" if I missed the actual question or misunderstood, please detail the question better as I would def like to help out- love their platform and all :)
At this moment only manually... So- adding a "physical product" using the mockups, and then when someone orders- you order from the supplier. But hey, I will suggest the idea to Alex from Awkward Styles and see maybe that will come to be!
It should be the file you say you're selling. If you're selling JPG you write that it's JPG and upload that for the buyer to download. What is the file type of the seamless patterns you're making ?
and also, I have a problem regarding the pixels of my seamless pattern. Is it normal that my patterns are getting pixelated when I zoom it everytime I downloaded it?
Can you also sell physical products for free on payhip? I sell physical products on Etsy and want to start Instagram but I don't want to send traffic to my competitors.
Selling personalized items with Payhip is doable, but it's easier on Etsy. When you sell personalized items- you need for the client to be able to reach you to tell you how to personalize the item, which is, again, easier with Etsy, as they have a built in option for it. Still doable with Payhip, just need to tell people where to reach you to give you their personalization requirements.

I have updated on it many times since, pretty much in every monthly goals video (so about 12 videos) as well as with videos about Payhip's abilities. I have not been using it for coloring pages. I left that specific store up in case I need to show more tutorials on the platform, and was talking in many videos about Payhip being the platform that hosts this channel's main website meytribe.com So- i have been using Payhip quite a lot. I'm still just not sure what kind of update on usage you're referring to, so not sure if my answer was point to your query

You can also- delete a photo afterwards from your actual store, after the import. and download the mockup images you like- and upload them. As Printful connects to a shop- that shop is under your control to edit the listing and remove or add photos.

INCORRECT: SELL Digital Downloads & Printables for FREE Using Payhip: NOPE, Not free, there is a fee, either monthly, or a percentage of a sale.. Again, NOT FREE.
The shop set-up is free, so that's good for people who don't have any money to start a digital download shop. Fee from a sale is still better to a lot of people than paying in advance and not selling,.

Payhip is a service to instantly build a shop, sort of like Shopify... They are not a marketplace :) So there is no traffic coming to you from them.

Selling personalized items with Payhip is doable, but it's easier on Etsy. When you sell personalized items- you need for the client to be able to reach you to tell you how to personalize the item, which is, again, easier with Etsy, as they have a built in option for it.
Still doable with Payhip, just need to tell people where to reach you to give you their personalization requirements.

@@VacationHacker Well, that demo was for a tutorial. I have updated on it many times since, pretty much in every monthly goals video (so about 12 videos) as well as with videos about Payhip's abilities.
I have not been using it for coloring pages. I left that specific store up in case I need to show more tutorials on the platform, and was talking in many videos about Payhip being the platform that hosts this channel's main website meytribe.com
So- i have been using Payhip quite a lot. I'm still just not sure what kind of update on usage you're referring to, so not sure if my answer was point to your query

I am just about to upload my first product but is that first product upload the actual file a customer will purchase and receive? it doesn't really say! or will it show in public and only the second lot of images are what the public see? because my sold image is a blank mockup and I don't want to display that otherwise, people will copy it, I only want to show an example of a finished image to the public
@@VacationHacker You need to select the mockups you wanna use. You can also- delete a photo afterwards from your actual store, after the import. and download the mockup images you like- and upload them.
As Printful connects to a shop- that shop is under your control to edit the listing and remove or add photos.

Well, Payhip is a tool, it's a shop builder, like Shopify or Woocommerce... You need to do marketing. It doesn't just generate sales on it's own...
INCORRECT: SELL Digital Downloads & Printables for FREE Using Payhip: NOPE, Not free, there is a fee, either monthly, or a percentage of a sale.. Again, NOT FREE.
The shop set-up is free, so that's good for people who don't have any money to start a digital download shop.
Fee from a sale is still better to a lot of people than paying in advance and not selling,.
Well, none of them are free, in the end, but it is free to begin, and that is a big help to a lot of us.
