Same thing happened to me! First time I spoke to them i kept thinking- why would I make a video about a program that is like Canva but has far less than Canva ?? 45 minutes into our zoom call (the lady from them was sooo nice so we chatted), I was playing around in their system, found the DPI control, exclusive fonts, morphing text... I was like- this is so cool ! different abilities than Canva, so clean, targeted to make a good design. Sometimes it does take a while to see the advantages of a platform.
I bought a bundle from a website and I found out the designer does not want his design to be used for commercial purposes but he has no control on the website license, so I had to remove that design from my shop ( I already made a new design and did not put it as is ) then I purchased Procreate & Affinity Publisher to make my own designs even when it took a lot of time and effort but at least I am safe.. The only subscription I have is Repper after your video I like any website or app has a simple license like Repper when they say (No Restriction). Anyway, I liked Kittl a lot and I think I wanna subscribe to use in my POD shops. A great video again, thanks a lot!
So many designers upload to platforms without even realising these things... Even with the affiliate world, for example: I am an Etsy affiliate... I had recieved emails from sellers saying "you had no right to use my product image in your blog"- the thing is, i made a blog post, their product was included in it, i gave a link, and I had EVERY right to use it, as I am an Etsy affiliate, The shop owner had no idea that that's what it means to sell on Etsy. Repper is super amazing indeed! Honestly, the more I do POD and especially- the more I do this channel, I just want to have 0 worries when it comes to any conflict or copyrights or illegal activity of any kind.. Good luck with your POD/Printables ventures :)

Of course. I am sure not many people can afford all tools all the time. I know that for some of my friends they use these tools on a monthly basis... They have a month where they are focused on the design aspect, utilizing every free minute to design, download... and after that they cancel a monthly membership, and head on to uploading the designs and see if they make money from it.
Dear Mey, have you ever heard if it is allowed to sell the same printables on 2 or 3 different platforms? Like on Etsy and RB or Etsy and Kittl? I liked your Kittle video and might like to use some of the same designs I already have. Someone advised me not to do it. Would you know? Thanks and stay happy.
Well, Etsy is NOT exclusive, and you can sell your art there + on any other website as you please... However, Kittl is a design tool, not a selling tool (they do have the share option and you can opt-in to make a bit of revenue, but that's still a project in it's diapers.) The only "time" you won't be allowed, is if you signed exclusivity... For example, on stock sites, you can sell a video and mark if it's exclusive or not, so if I place a video to sell on Pond5 and mark it exclusive- I am not allowed to feature it anywhere else.
Hello Mey. Thank you for an interesting video. I have one question about pricing. You mentioned Kittl charges $ 15 per month. Does that mean I´d have to pay it every single month or can I use their designs now and then, whenever I feel I´d like to design something new? For example, Dec, Feb, Apr, Sep? I tried to use this " now and then " method with CF, but they did not allow me to do it. If I do not need new ideas or designs every single month, I find it useless to keep paying for 12 months. Are you still in Bulgaria or Greece? Thank you, take care.
15$ per month means a subscription, renews every month and you can cancel. Or pay 120$ per year, and it comes down to less per month. CF is different, as the continues membership is actually your licence to sell... But with Kittl you're selling your own designs, so you can cancel at any time and still use them (you might lose access to the items you've made if you go back to the free version, but you can still use them if you've downloaded them). As per my location: I live in Bansko, Bulgaria, have been living here since May 2021. However, I travel at times, like to Skopje and Greece in this year, and more Greece to come :)
@@laurens.7510 Bulgaria is amazing, and a lot to say about it... @@laurens.7510 Ohhhhh templates to carve pumpkins- amazing product idea ! I was actually looking into unique printables to sell on Etsy- and I will add that one LOL
Really? I kinda thought that it's crazy how different it is LOL I think that when it comes to layouts, there's the general layout, the one that makes sense, the way almost every mailbox tool looks the same, logical. But if you go beyond that- the layout of Kittl is so different, no multiple "pages" in one design space, the community oriented front page, and even in the designer- editing text and shapes is to the right, while canva has no right side bar at all...
@@MeyTribe Yeah, I think it's just the general layout, where the slides are located, the font choice, etc. It just screamed Canva to me, to the point where I wonder which one copied which.
i'm not sure what I can do, as you didn't specify what's wrong with your Etsy account... you're not getting any sales? You don't know how to upload? were you suspended?
@@MeyTribe Thank you so much for reply,,, Yes definitely I will not tell anything, you can't gv suggestions or help, Can I share on email, here I'm not comfortable 🙏
Not sure what to reply... it's how I talk. You can literally slow it down on your end, and watch the video on a slower speed, or watch a tutorial from someone who speaks slower. (pretty sure that people who speak slower than I do get comments that they should speak faster LOL)
Depends what you need it for. Canva can't make printable wall art in large sizes with 300 DPI... most of what you make there is 72 DPI or 150 DPI at best. It also doesn't compare to Kittl's text morphing abilities. Or the Vectorizing tool... However, for things like videos- it's def better !
I think that Kittl Pro could be an awesome option, no need for expert, You can also pay for a month and see if it works for you... But yeah, good softwares cost money.

However, Kittl is a design tool, not a selling tool (they do have the share option and you can opt-in to make a bit of revenue, but that's still a project in it's diapers.)
The only "time" you won't be allowed, is if you signed exclusivity...
I tried to use this " now and then " method with CF,
but they did not allow me to do it. If I do not need new ideas or designs every single month,
I find it useless to keep paying for 12 months. Are you still in Bulgaria or Greece? Thank you, take care.
I am really interested in Bulgaria. I never hear anything about that area of the world.
As per my location:
I live in Bansko, Bulgaria, have been living here since May 2021.
However, I travel at times, like to Skopje and Greece in this year, and more Greece to come :)
@@laurens.7510 Bulgaria is amazing, and a lot to say about it... Was kinda thinking to turn my new channel from self love journaling to a personal vlog, where I will be talking about Bulgaria more, but I'm not sure if I wanna be out there so much... If you wanna see cool stuff from Bulgaria (mostly Bansko) you can check out my Instagram account mey.aroyo, I upload a lot from my town there :)
Or ask me if there is any specific question you wanna know :)
Amazing... After this video I subscribed your channel, once again amazing video Mey keep it up I will check your videos and hope it will be a great supportive channel 😊
I was listening to a finance podlast night and there was a guy that made over 1 million dollars with a halloween template. That is crazy! I am a creative in a business world...wrong business!
Halloween template of what ? You got me curious LOL
@@MeyTribe The template is under Zombie Pumpkin. I have to.find this girl that did a vlog travel and I will send it to you. She is(really good) and she made over 200k a year and posted once a week around a 10 minute video. She stopped that and was only posting Shorts (which I am not a fan).
I think being in a place that is not covered by most travel vloggers (Bulgaria) is a benefit to you (easier ranking, etc...)
@@laurens.7510 I still don't understand what template... was it a Halloween Tshirt the person was selling??
and yeah, travel vlogging can def be amazing, i think I would have a travel vlog channel if I was traveling more...
@@MeyTribe Getting back to you late....election day. The aforementioned gets 2 million hits and around a million in revenue for people downloading pumpkin carving templates. Also, in theme, check out Cinagro Farms. This farmer makes over a million a year with these pumpkins. Halloween is really big in the US. Fast approaching the Christmas spend and it's getting more and more popular because of the creativity. Christmas is kind of the same every year.
@@laurens.7510 Ohhhhh templates to carve pumpkins- amazing product idea !
I was actually looking into unique printables to sell on Etsy- and I will add that one LOL
God bless, thanks for this tutorial! Isaiah 53 is John 3:16.
happy you liked it, and all the blessings to you as well
Call me weird but Kittl and Canva have suspiciously similar layouts and design... Coincidence?
Really? I kinda thought that it's crazy how different it is LOL
I think that when it comes to layouts, there's the general layout, the one that makes sense, the way almost every mailbox tool looks the same, logical.
Mem I need your kindness on Etsy account I'm suffering since 10months😔🙏
i'm not sure what I can do, as you didn't specify what's wrong with your Etsy account... you're not getting any sales? You don't know how to upload? were you suspended?
@@MeyTribe Thank you so much for reply,,,
Yes definitely I will not tell anything, you can't gv suggestions or help,
Can I share on email, here I'm not comfortable 🙏
@@Weartrendy Yes, there's a contact form on Meytribe.com that reaches my email
@@MeyTribe Thanks you Mem, I will ☺️💙
And I must say and very appreciates you that ,, you such a amazing n caring personality 👍👏
This sounds so good, but you talk to fast. How on earth can I learn from this?
Not sure what to reply... it's how I talk.
You can literally slow it down on your end, and watch the video on a slower speed, or watch a tutorial from someone who speaks slower. (pretty sure that people who speak slower than I do get comments that they should speak faster LOL)
Canva is better than kittil
Depends what you need it for.
Canva can't make printable wall art in large sizes with 300 DPI... most of what you make there is 72 DPI or 150 DPI at best.
It also doesn't compare to Kittl's text morphing abilities. Or the Vectorizing tool...
However, for things like videos- it's def better !
I love this app but in ordee to get all the advantage you have to pay over 200. oo at once
I think that Kittl Pro could be an awesome option, no need for expert, You can also pay for a month and see if it works for you... But yeah, good softwares cost money.
