      Hmmm....people put bed liners in there trucks every day my friend........since about 1988 the bumpers of most automobiles have been made of petroleum based products....I don't see a longevity issue there.....my friend..this UV resistant polymer is designed to last for a very long time

      these trailers are almost 20 years old with no issues. cans say the same about a steel deck trailer. especially in the salt belt.

    Hey Josh thank you for the video I enjoyed it and I like that trailer bed nice but there's one bad thing that I don't like about it on the sides the walls of it should be taller

  • @alanshaw4655
    @alanshaw4655 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    pretty cool concept, except !..once the side walls go through a few frigid cooling cycles as well as heat cycles, i'd be willing to bet, they cave. second issue i see is the sides are not tall enough, most trailer folks as myself like high sides to keep my stuff in the trailer. other than these issues ?, you got a great product !. oh..love the tie down feature, you deff got that down pat !.

    Question…I’m receiving 10 chicks around the 17th. I haven’t had chickens since I was a minor. No chicks ever. I saw somewhere that the chicks progress through feed types as they grow through stages. Is this true? Can you show us the weekly stages of the chicks and the feed? 😬😁🙏

    • @StoneyRidgeFarmer
      @StoneyRidgeFarmer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Chick starter is what you need...if they're broilers get 21-14% if not get the lower protien...contact the hatchery you're getting your chicks from and they'll point ya in the right direction..I use 18% chick starter for most of my chicks...then once they're big enough change to layer pellets

    About 10 months ago Stanley Dirt Monkey was told by Floe Trailers at a trailer show that he couldn’t video their trailer unless they had editing rights before he posted it! He refused of course so I was shocked to now see him visiting the factory with you! Did Floe apologize for their unfriendly treatment of Stan?

      yep...watch the follow up...turns out they were very understanding after they figured out what was going on. I actually admire Floe for stepping up to any guy that shoves a camera in their face and saying...NO. I get it all the time and it's much more pleasant to discuss filming prior to shoving a camera in someone's face my friend

    Snowmachine, the first clue you are speaking northern.

    • @StoneyRidgeFarmer
      @StoneyRidgeFarmer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      lol...the sun of the west at about 10,000 feet would be much more harsh than the south....however I'm certain that smarter people than myself have come up with a formula for UV resistance so the trailer lasts in any conditions

    • @edcat6587
      @edcat6587 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If one wishes to prolong life of anything plastic,please do not keep it stored in direct sunlight.uv resistant or not.....or paint it,will last a "bit" longer in direct all day sunlight.

    • @StoneyRidgeFarmer
      @StoneyRidgeFarmer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think the back gate on some are solid...however if you're hauling sand....why not place a tarp on the trailer and wrap up the sand...1 yard of sand is gonna be close to what these trailers will haul...that's not very much sand

    Only thing I'm iffy about those trailers is side wall rigidity and being limited to only inside tie downs or weight up against them like a load of dirt gravel firewood etc.

    • @StoneyRidgeFarmer
      @StoneyRidgeFarmer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If ya put a load of dirt in there or gravel and it was the amount the trailer is rated for...then you'd never have an issue....let's say it has a 3500lb axle....you're only talking about a yard and a half of dirt my brotha

    How many titles of this kind? Sounds more like a clickbait. Do you really need that? Reputation has any worth?

    • @StoneyRidgeFarmer
      @StoneyRidgeFarmer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Let's quickly educate you on what "click bait" actually is. A title or thumbnail that is in no way relevant to the content showcased. A catchy thumbnail and or title is the same as a book cover and title my friend, this is a video about cargo trailers...so I don't understand your confusion...has nothing to do with a reputation....it's a title and a thumbnail that's there to catch your attention. Maybe look for the good in things and stop looking for something to complain about or insult....I promise you will have a happier life my friend
