Trivia.. when we eat jackfruit, we put cooking oil on the fingers that we'll be used in eating so it wont be sticky. or we put disposable hand gloves..😊

Privyet! Lena and kids, when you eat jackfruit or marang, you can collect the seeds wash them and cook. Those are nuts that taste just like almonds, cashews and others.
In addition to that, apply or rub vegetable oil with your both hands so that it won’t stick to your fingers.
Either cooking oil or coconut oil is better to apply before you touch the jackfruit, it prevents sticky fingers 😊. That fruit is so good. Good luck to you and your kids always stay safe

When you eat jackfruit it would be best to rub a lot of vegetable oil or olive oil all over hand to prevent the jackfruit sap from sticking on your hand. That is how we Filipinos do it.

I don't like sweet spaghetti either, but I'm an old Filipino, never ate Jollibee spaghetti. My parents took us to D'Marks in Manila long ago, and then a place called Italian Village which I think no longer exists. And much later we took our own children to Al Dente in Makati, which also no longer exists. This was even before there was a McDonalds or Jollibee in the Philippines. So yes, we used to eat regular Italian spaghetti, but somehow when Jollibee started, they knew that adding sugar was the way to get Pinoys to like their restaurant's menu.

@@MsJelena Filipinos have a "sweet tooth." A perfect example of this is coffee. They like their coffee sweet, but compared to the U.S. (where I live), Filipino coffee can be extra super sweet. Sometimes I joke with my wife and ask her if she wants more coffee with her sugar. Also, Filipino snacks are mostly sweet. An example of this is rice cakes as well as other sweet treats.

Rice cofee doesnt have cafine ..
They usually fry the grains of rice in a pan .. after it gets dark .. remove it already..
Then u can boil that rice grain in water like coffee..
Until u get.the coffe flavor its a heslthy coffe rice
