I like that you scrap bullets at the range. Very few people on TH-cam do that. I’ve been doing it for several years in Az. (Just started filming). We have a lot of public open areas for people to shoot. I get lots of brass shells, and tons of steel casings Using a magnet roller.
    Good stuff👍

The military has been a gift for scrapping in the desert around here, I talked to a guy at one of the scrap yards who said they would find the same kind of stuff by Tucson, lots of blanks n brass artillery chunks

Nice finds, watching your channel for the past couple years has gotten me to explore and scrap my local desert as well. Good hobby and sometimes decently profitable as well

I have a question about the 9mm gun ya made. I’m working on building my own similar thing. My original idea was to have the case protruding from the barrel by about 3mm then have the bolt face recessed by about 2mm to make sure the case stays on the bolt face for the ejector to kick the spent case out. However when I got my barrel the case sits flush in the barrel. So I am gonna switch to a flat bolt face design but I can’t figure out my ejector/extractor now. Can you explain to me how your ejector works? If you would upload a video or send me one that would be even better because I am a visual learner.

Mine has no extractor, the ejector is just a small screw/bolt that sticks through the reveiver into a groove in the bolt

does it even pay for gas?

Really depends on the area but it usually pays for way more than gas, before I got an autoimmune disease I used to make more money screwing around in the desert 3 or 4 days a week than working a job.
