Thx for all the videos man looking to fet an s2 Hopefully this year and have been doing research myself, but with all your vids im super confident now! Thx !
Hey love your video. I had question I’m having a hard time getting an answer is there a way to “hack” the EU (remove the speed control) on a super73 s1 ????
You could get a new controller… that’s essentially how all ebike’s are regulated for speed modulation. Better programmed controller the more option’s you have with better speed and efficiency. Basically you can adjust the acceleration power with different modes. So like hill climbing won’t be a huge problem like it is now. I’m looking for a a cheap used Super73-RX frame. I don’t need any parts other than frame really. I want to install a mid-drive motor and a decent controller/battery system. Add Shigura MT-7 brake’s (Shimano lever’s with Magura pad/rotor’s)
I have a question: I was thinking of getting this, not for the range, but for curing battery voltage sag. As you know, as the volts decrease, the speed decreases. Granted, the speed only decreases by one or two miles until you hit the half-way point, but I want to always run fast at full throttle. Will this extra battery keep me at 31 mph at full throttle for longer periods? Thanks for any info you can enlighten me with!
Hey sessions loving ur videos ...got one quick question.... when charging both batteries (super73 & chibatteries ) like the super73 battery do the chi battery also hav to be on to charge!????
i have the ranger but its not draining, so only the stock battery goes down,..i am already talking to costumer service but for now they also dont know what to do.. any tips?
Hmmm... The only thing I can think of is that the there's a disconnect in the cable or battery mount. If everything seems secure, it may be an issue with the mount. If you're going off of the light indicator of the battery, it may show full bars longer than your stock battery does. My guess is that you're going to charge it after a ride and the charger indicates full? If that's the case, then for sure it's not being used when you're riding. Those are the few items I would check.
When u say u get 50 miles with the dual battery setup, do u mean 50 miles with throttle only? I get about 50 miles on a stock battery on pedal assist 1, running on mode 4.
They need to be at equal charge if you plan on using both. The best way to know that they are equal is to charge them both to completely full. They drain concurrently.
It sounds like both batteries can charge at the same time with one stock charger. how is that possible? is there a splitter that is provided, or did I hear you wrong? Thanks and I love your videos!
Thanks! The splitter allows the charge to go through the stock battery and into the CBS Ranger. It’s a long charge, but it will get you there over night.
@@SESSIONS73 do both batteries need to be turned on if charging together with a stock charger on the bike? or is the stock battery the only one that needs to be on?
I love the s1 I got. I should have got an s2, really want to go faster and know more about battery present not just 4 bars. but cant bring myself to spend that money on a bike one day ill own a second one good job on almost to 1000 subs.
I'm a noob to the S73 world. Can someone please help me out with a few questions? I purchased a used RX with a Chi secondary. Both fully charged, turn on stock battery, then turn on the Chi. But, the range on the display does NOT increase, and there is no light on the Chi to indicate that it's on. This seems strange to me. I'm not convinced that the Chi is working.
The range on the display won't update or increase. It will just stay the standard number. The best way to get a feel for your added range is to cruise around on the stock battery, note where the ring around the display is, then do the same ride with both. You'll see a significant difference. As far as the light turning on... There's a light ring around the button. As long as the button is depressed, it should be on. Maybe the button light is faulty? ChiBatterySystems has great support.
@@SESSIONS73 thank you so much for your quick response. Mine has a black toggle, not a ring. By the way, sorry for being rude and not mentioning how much I appreciate the time and effort you put in to your very informative videos. Thanks!
I just wanted to share that if battery degradation is a concern while using the fast charger, chi battery system will sell you a custom charger which charges at 4 amps
Totally agree with the customer service! They truly make sure you are happy with your purchase.
💯

Awesome. I love my S2. Almost 3000 miles.
Will the Chibattery Ranger plug into the same rack as the stock battery? Can I used the Ranger in place of my stock battery?
Unfortunately, not. It's a different mount.
I went to starbucks to see it they had any more chai battery's, They said I have no idea what you are talking about!
You have to ask the right person and be ready to shell out some dollas

Hmmm... I am not familiar with that either. Has to be a way though.

Do you always need to charge both batteries to full after every use?
No, but it's the best way to know that they are charged equally.
That’s a nice ass thumbnail. I’m jealous. Great video brotha
Thanks man
S2 charger, just bought the bike today in fact!

Change the higher voltage controller will get you higher top end.

It seems to keep that higher end speed for about 25% of the battery. I think you'll see a difference.
I just used your code to get the Ranger ZXE for my ZX. Thanks for the discount!
Saw it come through! Glad it worked out for you. Enjoy your extended range.
Can you run just the chi battery if the stock one is junk?
Unfortunately not. The stock battery has some mechanisms in it that control the bike
Hey sessions loving ur videos ...got one quick question.... when charging both batteries (super73 & chibatteries ) like the super73 battery do the chi battery also hav to be on to charge!????
Thanks! If you're charging through the stock battery, it charges the CBS. It just takes a lot longer. I like to charge them both at the same time.
@SESSIONS73 yes I understand tht part ...my question is ...when charging does the chi battery 🔋 🤔 hav to be on or off while charging
Just bought a super73 Miami. I wonder if they have a second battery I could use?!
They do. The Ranger ZXE. Use SESSIONS73 at checkout to get a discount 👍
I’m wanting to add more range should I go with the ranger gt or wait till they have the Newport in stock whenever that could be
Been 100% satisfied with my Ranger.

haha Tim that baby comment was a chuckle. Hope you’re doing good. Got my eye on that extra battery.
Glad you liked it! It's been totally worth it.

I would say throttle only, but for me to accomplish that I would need to take off the pedals. I have a habit of pedaling here and there.
Can you charge one battery at a time or must both batteries be fully charged when in use?
They need to be at equal charge if you plan on using both. The best way to know that they are equal is to charge them both to completely full. They drain concurrently.
Can you do a video on upgrading your controller on a rx super73
If I had one…
does adding another battery affect the motor??
Not really. It's just a great solution to a longer ride.

Another amzing video
Thanks again!
Nice job man. When you going to rake it out for a Ride again.
I've been going out... Sometimes easy to just ride and not film.
Dammit!! Just ordered one on Friday, wish I saw this sooner! Hook me up with that charger yo!
I'd love to if I could. I am plumb out!
Does it make the bike go faster?
Soooo… that’s debatable. For the first few miles, I notice an addition of 2 mph. It keeps the top end of a charge longer, so you stay at peak longer.
@@SESSIONS73 thank you.
MAY I PLEASE HAVE THE ZX CHARGER. I got my zx in July and would like to be able to charge my battery super fast! Can’t wait for 1k!
Great idea for the battery 🔋 greater range
It's been a godsend.
Your amazing I am glad you are growing
Me too! Thanks

If you get one, be sure to use my code for $50 off!
What if you are living in Europe? Can i get this battery, or do i have to buy from another company? :)

They’re worth it. 💯
You think Super73 may make a bigger Factory battery in the future?? Also great reviews 👍
I don't know, to be honest. Thanks for the kind words.
@@SESSIONS73 they definitely should, no problem man.
Yah I would like to see a battery that could put out 50 miles!!
So we just going ignore if they have a s1 battery in stock? Dang. I’m in denial..
I don't think this company builds anything for the S1...
@@SESSIONS73 Thanks for the reply, nightmare confirmed. JK. But kinda figured that was the case, smh!
If I win the fast zx charger I’m buying another battery as well! 🙏🏻
