I was just thinking, back in the mid-70s, about when the Southampton Princess was far-and-away the most important big hotel in Bermuda. With a convention sized ballroom that could seat ... I don't know -- it seemed like a thousand of us, who paid to see Billy Paul perform his one big hit: ME AND MRS. JONES. After playing the Michael & Nelly song (below) QUONDO, QUONDO, QUONDO -- and not hitting stop -- the very next offering sent my way by the shuffle play, seemingly random, intuitive genius that is TH-cam circa 2024 -- they sent me the only other version I've heard -- by (drum roll) Michael Buble. Coincidence, right? Mom would say No. There ARE no coincidences. You know what she meant.
