Hey Grand National brother! love your channel concerning our Turbo Regals! Ive began to tighten my car with the PCV all lines and zip tying them. Smart, simple and effective. You should keep posting more content, there is not much '' how to videos'' on our cars. Thanks and hope to see your videos!

A video on how to check boost level would be great if thats even possible. Also interested on how you cleaned up hoses and electrical lines

You can log boost pressure on Powerlogger. I honestly didn't clean up any electrical. It's all factory except where I plugged into the tach wire. The only hoses I cleaned up were the EGR. I eliminated them when I got rid of the EGR. You can see the blockoff plate I installed. The spark plug wires are from RJC Racing. They give a very neat and tidy install and are numbered and tied together.

My BL is at 142. I can't find any air leaks I blocked off the PCV from the hoses block on top and my BL went down to 126. What's your input on blocking the PCV valve? Oh yeah and THANK YOU for the videos you got me looking at my car to prevent future problems. 👍👍from California

Hook it back up. Check for pre turbo exhaust leaks. The drivers side header ALWAYS cracks between cylinder number 3 and 5...the two rear on the drivers side. Get it welded up. Headers where they mate up to the heads could be warped. I use header gaskets from Felpro. You could heave a turbo exhaust leak at the turbo flange. I use an RJC turbo flange gasket. You could have a leak at the crossover pipe under the car. If you're using a TT chip the fuel pressure has to be set at 43-44 line off. If the 02's on your SM are moving slower than usual then you could have a bad 02 sensor.

California won't allow you to block off the PCV I assume. The emission laws are strict there from what I here. Try a new PCV valve. Was the BLM's always 142 or did this just happen? You need to look for a pre turbo exhaust leak. The DS header always cracks towards the rear. The EGR could be leaking. The turbo flange could be leaking. The crossover pipe could be leaking at the flanges. I want you to join Turbobuick.com. I'm on there as well as some other guys. We'll get you sorted out.

great video was wondering why you don't have the pcv capped off? I thought if you have aftermarket breathers on the valve covers the pcv is no longer needed? I want o eliminate my egr system on my 87 there are so many lines and solenoids im not sure what I can remove and not remove do you have a diagram or a video that goes over the egr system removal start to Finnish?

Hi I have a 1986 t type regal - at an idle it runs high and low, could this be caused by a vacuum leak? Any other ideas? Thank you Ben

The very first thing that should be purchased for these vehicles is a scantool to properly diagnose issues. It could be a vacuum leak...but that's just a guess. Without scantool numbers it's a crapshoot.

All you need is the the vacuum setup from a 1987 Regal. You'll need the vacuum brake pedal as well as the pivot point is different than the Powermaster pedal.

For me personally, it's to clean up the engine bay. The other is that the EGR can be a source of vacuum leaks.
