The problem with Dhar Mann’s videos is that the antagonists are portrayed as the worst people ever (to a cartoonish level), so no one is going to look at it and be like “That feels like me; I should change.”, so the whole ‘changing lives’ thing just doesn’t work.

That, and the protagonists are portrayed as the best people ever: flawless, exceptionally intelligent, externally successful etc. These are the kinds of people that would be outliers for any race. To only show these exceptional kinds of minorities/people with the message of "don't judge a book by its cover", it's implying that their human value (the book's content) is largely determined by their intellect, wealth, and social status. All of which, hilariously, are attributes that many minorities find difficult to obtain partially due to discrimination (poor access to education, debt, bad neighbourhoods, etc.).
A bulk of the actual minorities that this video would claim to defend are necessarily different from those represented in them. It's the laziest kind of "flip the stereotype" trope that doesn't even try to understand any of the issues surrounding racism on either side -- the "protagonists" or the "antagonists". Speaking of, the concept of "villain" vs "hero" is itself overly reductive, divisive, and harmful. The video is so wrongheaded on so many levels it's mind boggling.

Dhar sounds especially robotic in that second video. That extreme reach to convince us he's "so good and humble"
Also I expected the manager to call out the girl on only feeling regret because the guy was powerful, but no, that's Dhar Mann's whole stich. I don't know why I expected anything else
