Why don't these teams have any names or numbers? How is BFG able to just switch over from blue to red? If we assume these are two different high school teams, no way they would just let some random new guy join their team, especially without filing a bunch of paperwork that would never get processed in a single night. And why are the exact same teams playing against each other two days in a row if this is supposed to be a tournament? I'd assume that it's a "2/3 winner takes the W" sort of thing, but I don't think that sort of thing really happens with high school b-ball, and Good Coach straight up said that this was his first win against Bad Coach. Is this just a best of two and red team has port priority? And why are there so few people at this final tounmament match, all of them forced to watch in shitty chairs behind a chain fence, especially if this game is apparently important enough to warrent the UCLA have a guy take time out of his busy day to watch it? A good amount of my questions could be answered if we assumed that this was a rec league, but then why would a recruiter even go to some random ass rec game to look for an athlete when he could go to a real high school game that actually has organization and stats and stuff? In other words, I don't think Dhar Mann has ever actually been inside a real high school.
Edit: So I just watched this video again and noticed even more dumbshit. Around the beginning of the video, Bad Coach specifically says that them winning the first game would being them to Game 7, and this comment manages to destroy any sense of realism that was attempting to be conveyed. The way basketball playoffs in the NBA work, it's a best 4 out of 7, which is what I assume is what Dhar Mann is trying to go for here. The thing is, as soon as one team wins their fourth game, that's all folks. It would be a giant waste of time to play any more games when you already know who the winner is. For this statement by Bad Coach to be valid with everything else that occured in the video, either: A) He was trash talking Good Coach and lying straight to his face about his flawless record against him. This is the most realistic option, but at the same time, there is no way something as subtle as that would ever intentionally make it into a Dhar Mann video. B) Bad Coach was only talking about tournament matches as a whole (the 4/7 wins thing) as a form of trash talk. Remember what I said in letter A about Dhar Mann and subtlety to know why this explanation isn't valid enough. C) No matter the number of wins or losses prior in the tournament, the team that wins Game 7 is the one who wins the whole thing, which is easily the dumbest way you could ever design a tournament. Somehow, this Dhar Mann video managed to have a more convoluted, confusing plot than _Amusement_ , which is just staggering
