This is the greatest interview this show has ever had. Vlad is trying his best to get King Tone to straight tell all criminal activity he saw as part of the Kings but Tone is way too smart for his culture vulturing ass and instead teaches a lesson to us all as to what he's learned and how the government shits on all of us as people of color. Thank you King Tone... We needed this.

I agree to disagree as far as Vlad and the questions he asks King Tone. Had Vlad not ask these questions, this interview wouldn’t be as epic as it is. Vlad is asking the questions that everyone wants to know or that no one would have to balls to ask. To me, Vlad is asking for the people that want to ask or know, but doesn’t have the opportunity or platform to ask.

  • @acpjr

Vlad, there are many reasons why this is your best and most powerful interview. 1) It's a story of redemption. King Tone didn't make any excuses for his choices. He paid his debt to society, isn't glorifying his path in life in anyway, and he's trying to prevent more "King Tones" from emerging. 2) You didn't interrupt him with questions about useless gossip and trivia (mostly cuz he wouldn't allow you haha) 3) His explanation for why he's mad at Tekashi 69 is the most reasonable of any of your guests.
If you did more interviews like this you would graduate from being a "culture vulture" and move away the sensationalism and tabloid path that you're currently on.

I struggled my whole life and watched my middle class (if you will) parents work every day to provide for my family. To this day they are still working to make sure their bills are paid. I was thought to see the good in people and to treat others as you would want them to treat yourself or your moms & pops, with respect. In my humble opinion, Its not as much about color as it is about status ... it’s about rich & poor. They’re white people being oppressed as well. They’re millions ofsuccessful black, latino, colored people. The U.S. government shits on

Thank you for your transparency. I understand your point. Class is a real social structure in the world. And, Colonial settlers brought that concept to this land with them.
In the 15th century those settlers brought indentured servants who originated from France, England Africa, Ireland, the Netherlands etc. After those mens served their time working to on this land they were allowed to marry and acquire land.
The Anglo-Saxons/upper class/landlords began to observe that the former indentured servants were marryung Anglo-Saxon women, who were in short supply. At that time in the 1600's African men and Anglo-Saxon women freely married each other. Remember, this was before Africans were brought to this land for Chattel Slavery.
This, coupled with "Bacon's Rebellion" (research this) wherein the poor, who consisted of anyone who was not Anglo-Saxon, rebellled against the ruling one percent. The united poor people nearly defeated the ruling one percent and the one percent were afraid and strategized to divide the poor class up.
What do you think the Anglo-Saxons/Colonials/One percent decided the distinguishing feature would be to divide the poor class? The color of skin.
Research, "The Maryland law of 1681," which was the first time "white" would be legally used to describe a human classification.
The one percent used hunger, the need for land, punishment to convince the "newly created White" class to distance themselves from the newly created "black class."
Therefore, the one thing a poor class White person could say was 'at least I'm not Black.' And, to this day U.S. was created on race a social structure and poor and middle class White's are used by the one percent to maintain the hierarchy.
As a Black African-American man I have never met a poor or middle class White man say, "I wish I were a Black man." Why, because if a White man has a cold, a Black man has the flu.
In order for us to reunite this country, we need for people who identify as White to dismantle Whiteness.
But, don't take my word for it, do your own research.

This man is trying to make a point about the hypocrisy of government, criminal justice, class, etc. and all Vlad wants to talk about is the crime he was part of or was around and saw. He is a powerful speaker and is speaking for people who have never had a voice or even someone to speak on their behalf. I've never been in a gang and I'm a white male but I've been locked up and I was homeless and hooked on heroin for almost 2 decades and I was brought to tears. This man could do so much good; especially in this climate of the people in power pitting everybody against each other so they can take or maintain power while we are all busy fighting each other, we need a lot more messages like this instead of focusing so much on the gratuitous money, sex, and violence. Nobody in this world is perfect, we need to spend less time judging one another and more time trying to grow personally from our past mistakes or even better growing from the past mistakes of those in the past!

Well more like he tries to justify what he is doing wrong by talking about some portion of the government he thinks is doing something wrong. We should purge crooked cops but we also should purge crooked citizens, not excuse either of them. There is a certain group of politicians who cuddle these types of thinkers and encourage them to keep pursuing crime. Fix the real issues.

My man, My brother still. I've sat side by side with this man and he is very smart and intelligent. The way he speaks can grab ones attention because he speaks passionately concerning certain matters. We're Kings because of the Righteousness and the light of in which we're made to shine. Love this guy!!!! A.D.R. 4LIFE!!!!

Yoooo... he so fired up with all the injustice and bs that we Puerto Ricans and blacks or peeps from the hood go through that he said "You lucky this ain't 20 years ago because I'd go to 5th ave and blow that sh*t". One of the most powerful interviews ever. Our communities need more leaders like this spitting facts. I can easily see why he was the leader of the latin kings. A perfect name for (King Tone) an OG who represents the all the hoods in the US.
