Played it just now and 10 years later beat it for the first time ever! This was the hardest level ever when I was 13yrs old,

@@neo-_drysen1610 No it isn't, it led to unoriginality, I'm tired of hearing the NSMBWii music get reused, even though NSMBU finally got rid of the NSMBDS music It still has NSMBWii castle music, Boss music and stuff. They could've at least changed the castle music to the one from DS since the DS one is boss
@@Bluemantopvids That's not really NSMB Wii's fault, that's more on the devs because they *chose* to reuse the same music for 2 and U, and basically played it relatively safe with them out of active choice. NSMB Wii itself was still an awesome game at the time and to this day still stands strong on its own. Blame the devs and their choices, not the game.
Fortunately, however, all these years later we are finally getting a new 2D side-scroller Mario game this year, Super Mario Bros Wonder, and it's looking to be truly original despite obviously being the next 2D side scroller Mario game. It's taking the most risks and steps forward since NSMB Wii itself did.

Im gonna be honest. This boss battle may be kind of bland, but I've always loved the insane scale of it. Mario staring off at the giant bowser always had such a cinematic feel to it. With the theme, it really felt like finale in every sense of the word. Like Mario was staring insurmountable odds down, and daring them to blink first.
This was the first mario game i beat on my 3ds good times

I used to love playing this level but then I accidentally deleted the world
after watching the mario movie and knowing the true reason why bowser hates mario this hits different. Bowser is fighting for his broken heart and you can tell he is pissed about it too
