Another remarkable lesson as always. I'm no longer a novice in English, but I still watch your videos and my vocab keeps on improving astronomically. Your patience and clarity are with a parallel. I so wish you were my English teacher back in my school days. However, I binge watch your lessons to bridge that gap. All the advanced words and English phrases you teach, I write them down and use em in conversations and I must say they're already ingrained in my mind.

Hey Lisa, Thanks so much for all your interesting English classes! I always felt lonely after moving to a new country, an English-speaking country. Then, I discovered your channel on TH-cam. It feels like a comforting, supportive shoulder during these challenging times. Your channel has become a vital lifeline, helping me connect with the outside world, break the ice, and gather the courage to communicate with my new neighbors. I like beginning each day with your English class, which makes me cheer up. It's like a ray of light in my life, helping me emerge from the darkness of feeling like a besieged soldier living underground in a dungeon. Thank you for making such a positive difference in my life

Magnificent lecture. In my language, Portuguese, we use the word green to refer to not ripe fruits and to underage or unexperienced people (a little bit rude towards people though). We use the word mature to refer to both ripe fruits and older adults (in this case, mature can mean well centered, wise too)

What a beautiful lesson! I have watched and listened to. It was before having my breakfast and more delicious than I would have! I am in my early 60's. In my language Arabic, there is a saying by prophet Muhammad: learn from the cradle to the grave. It is a very useful lesson, so l have to replay it many times! Teacher Lisa thanks from my ❤️!

Thank you, teacher.. I am Korean, I heard that Korean and English are far different, which makes it challenging for both Koreans to learn English and for English speakers to learn Korean. Your video always teaches me how to think in native speakers' way. There is long way to go but I will stick with your lectures.

I think "rob the cradle" can be used just when the difference is over 20 years. 7 years is nothing, 10-15 etc is normal.
But better is to don't use it at all, because love and matching someone doesn't depends by their age, if they both are adults. So it not nice to discuss it, it's their relationship and love. And doesn't matter who is older and who younger.

Very interesting video, I think that age is just a number, we are never too old to learn something new, I understood the meaning but I did not realize the difference pronunciation between "tween" "twins", so the word "tween" can be used in plural to talk about years before becoming a “teen”? it looks like almost the same to me in speech.
