A few things you should have done at least I think. The new rotor should have been cleaned with brake cleaner .all screws and studs should have anti size on them. . The slide bolts should have been cleaned and re greased. The place where you got the parts should have told you some of the things I talked about. Check out Eric the care guy his is a certified mechanic . I am a back yard mechanic and my dad 35 years as a professorial mechanic. I got to work with him at the places he worked at. Back then kids could go places like that . Now no way would places do that today.

Gunsen easy bleed kit is great cheap tool for bleeding the caliper just using pressure from a bicycle tyre to pressurize the system.
