THANK YOU Risa for the *EXTRA* step of ranking for Dry skin!!! You went above & beyond what other TH-camrs do, and it's greatly appreciated!!I love to hear your opinion about the products for your skin type, as well! Ty
Yes, I appreciate it as well, as a dried-skin gal. All of my favorite influencers have oily skin, so usually I am all on my own when it comes to complexion products. Thank goodness Sephora/Ulta accepts returns, lol.
I have oily skin so your reviews are pure gold for me, but I really appreciate that you work hard to do research and give recommendations for other skin types as well. That is so rare to see and adds such a higher level of professionalism to your videos. Great work!
I am 70 and have normal to dry skin. I found the drugstore Covergirl Milk Skin Foundation amazing! Someone had called it a dupe for Chanel and I have been blown away for it. I have always used high end foundation and this was a nice surprise. Thanks for all your hard work.
I trust you, Risa… Even though I don’t have oily skin, you have NEVER led me wrong. Great job! Case in point: the Age Rewind 4 in 1 balm looks perfect on me. I just use my common sense when I’m watching your vids, and use your recommendation as guidelines taking into account our differences. It helps that you always explain a rationale for your suggestions.
@lizzette can I ask what your skin type is? My skin is hormonal acne prone (I get milia easily which sucks) and reddish sensitive, textured as a result. It CAN get oily but I don’t think it’s oily. I’m just kinda patchy and sensitive (blah! Lol) I bought the 4-in-1 today and intrigued by it on mature skin (I’m turning 40 this year)!
Thank you for addressing all types of skin and for actually watching dry skin content creators’ reviews so you can be more informed about the products. I’d definitely watch these types of videos every month!
Love the “over 40’s/mature skin” recommendations !!! I would love to see more like this including a drugstore version for mature skin. I am 44 and have a never ending shiny nose and an ever increasing dry forehead and cheeks🙈 Thanks Risa!!!
Thanks Risa! One of the very best things about you is that you really put in the effort to inform ALL of your viewers... you do the legwork to get all the knowledge about a product before you present... thank you for that...
I would love to see a video of you doing your eye look with the Soft Glam palette. I know it’s an older palette but so beautiful and I never get tired of seeing new looks with it!!
I'm 50 with combo skin with large pores, redness and texture. I also prefer a medium to light full coverage. You are my number 1 go to for foundation recommendations. I have found every foundation you like to be a great choice for me as well. Couldn't click fast enough on your rankings! Thank you!
THANK YOU FOR BEING HONEST I AM 54 YRS OLD AND HAVE COMBO SKIN MY FAVORITE FOUNDATION IS FENTY THE MATTE AND THEONE IN THE TUBE WORKS GREAT FOR ME AND MY SKIN WORKS EXCELLENT FOR ME BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE
So I made a trip to Sephora today to check out some of these foundations. I tried the Onesize and the MUFE HD. Let me report back- I have normal to dry skin with dryness on my chin and around my nose. I have redness in those dry areas, melasma on my forehead, healing breakouts ( I’m dry but acne prone), and various discoloration. I’m 48. Both these foundations were a big fat NO! The Onesized made my chin way worse. It looked even dryer if that’s possible with the foundation sitting in clumps on my chin. The MUFE HD didn’t go anywhere because I couldn’t even get a color match. Too yellow for me ( I have neutral to olive undertones). The girl helping me had me try the Beauty Blender skin tint and it was AMAZING! It was a medium to full coverage, it had a natural finish, it made my dry skin on my chin magically “lay down”, and it covered everything perfectly.
YES please Iove this type of video from you. Your reviews take in ALL skin types and I look for that. I can't tell you how many foundations I've purchased that are NOT at all good on me. So THANK you Risa! 😊❤️
Yes, I would love to see you review foundations more often. At 67, with dry skin, I have a heck of a time trying to find a foundation that works for me. I tried the Charlotte Tillsbury, but I couldn't get it to work, no matter what combination of moisturizer, sunscreen, primer, powder or none of the above I used. It was an epic fail for me. Thank you, Risa.
I actually bought the Dior foundation in 1.5W because I've read so many reviews saying that it oxidises. It's a little bit lighter when I apply it but as it turns a little bit darker, matches me perfectly. So reading the reviews was really helpful. I love the formula
I understand. However I do feel that most “influencers” are honest when it comes to sponsored products. At least the ones that have been doing this for a while are.
The very reason I will always continue to watch your videos...it's the extra effort you put forth in introducing products based on all skin types. Thank you so much!
Risa, you've made my 4 other foundations completely redundant! We're similar in age and skin type, and after trying the one/size BBB cream foundation, I wanted to chuck all my other foundations in the bin 😅 it looks & feels amazing, blurs my large pores, AND, with finishing powder & setting spray, I don't need to blot for at least 5 hrs!! A life saver when running a busy restaurant. Thank you 🤗
Thank you SO much for the One Size foundation recommendation! I stopped even wearing foundation for a while because even with primer, all the foundations I tried exaggerated my fine lines. I instantly loved the One Size! I don’t even have to use primer first and it doesn’t settle into my fine lines! You’re the best!
Fun ranking! I am 65 with dry to very dry skin and I love the NARS Light Reflecting!! Way back I tried and returned the MUF Reboot which was very popular. I thought I might try the new HD, however have since learned there is alcohol denat quite high in the ingredient list, which is usually a no-no for dry skin. Maybe I’ll get a sample! I’m dying to try the L’Oréal Balm but I need the lightest shade and can’t currently find it.
Thank you so much for including us dry skin girls!! Much appreciated and I trust your advice❣️❣️❣️👍💋 BTW... The Ones Size BBB turn up the base is so beautiful on my dry skin.. I apply very little with my fingers and go over with my beauty blender and it makes me look FLAWLESS!!! Not drying and stays put all day me and is dont have to powder it at all!!! Such a fantastic surprise and bought it on a whim!!!!
Most of all thank you for addressing the reactivity of buyers based on social media. While I really love most of CT products I have been hesitant to buy the new foundation because of her outrageous claims. I think many people ran out to buy it because of the hype and were disappointed and out of good $$. I really appreciate ratings that are based on several wear tests (which Stephanie does too) as it helps me make more informed and less reactive decisions. Thanks so much for including both ratings for both skin types. Excellent content!
Risa, you have been such a positive influence on me during the pandemic! I was wondering if, once restrictions are removed you would consider doing a master class in Las Vegas. I’m sure that I’m not the only one that wants to take advantage of your knowledge & would pay for it. Just a thought. I have enjoyed watching your channel grow… it is well deserved!
Excellent video comparing these foundations!! You gave us different perspectives for different skin types which was extremely helpful!! Loved it!!! Now I have my choices narrowed down!! Thanks so very much👍⭐️⭐️⭐️
Risa. I loved this. Such a good list. I’m Very dry and Turning 51 next month so I’ve tried a lot of these. I reviewed the Water Tint way back in early December. It is really beautiful and I would agree it’s better for normal and more drier complexions. Charlotte and Nars are both pretty. Although, I didn’t buy the NARS (just a sample) I liked it better then the Charlotte. The HD makeup I played with and it’s just not for me. I DO like the One Size. It’s really pretty on me with just one layer. If I build it, it looks cakey and matte. But one and done is nice! The Tarte was a def no no for me. I am getting ready to review the Guerlain video. A Risa made me buy it vid?😂 cause I wouldn’t have if you hadn’t suggested it! That is coming soon;) your amazing!! 😘🤗💕
Oh yes, please do this again. Foundation reviews are so helpful and thanks for talking about different skin types. Also thanks for suggesting to ask for samples from Sephora. I forget this is an option and the SAs often don’t volunteer to offer.
I’m amazed how differently the CT performs for me when I apply it with fingers. My skin went through a dry phase recently due to pregnancy related changes and that foundation wore beautifully without accentuating dry patches. Unfortunately I can’t get the Nars Light Reflecting foundation to work for me, it’s so visible on my skin. Thanks for all your content! You just look more and more beautiful!
Risa, loved the video! Yes, do more like this. Ahhh, to be 22 again with young skin. Actually, at 22 I had extremely oily skin. It's still oily but getting more normal as the years go by.
Risa, I agree with you on all your comments. I’m 54 with normal skin with some dry patches here & there. I also did videos on comparing some of the new foundations. I CANNOT wear matte anything. Although I haven’t tried the Makeup Forever HD foundation, I LOVE the Nars & Charlotte Tilbury on me. For me, I love the glow it gives. Thank you so much for your opinion. I appreciate your honesty.
Yes. I would love for you to do this. Sometimes it’s hard to keep track of it all. Also like you said for us mature skinned ladies it’s nice to hear the opinion of an influencer that is close to our age. I trust and value your opinion for all skin types. Thanks for another informative video.
Me too!! I just got it and I too am oily /combo. I think it looks so beautiful on my skin even after a full day of blowing out hair and working. I still have to blot it but it doesn’t break up . 😻
Thank you Risa. I haven't used drugstore brands for a long time due to so many issues when I was younger but you have made me open-minded! I appreciate that you don't just plug the most expensive or most cheap but just what may work best for us. 💋❤
I love hearing the knowledgeable review of foundations from a professional. Please continue this series as it is one of my favorites on TH-cam. Thank you for saving me so much money and heartache. 🙂
Hi Risa, I love listening to you because I also have oily skin. The absolute best foundation I have found is Armani Luminous Silk Perfect Glow Flawless Oil Free. I have tried them ALL!!! This melts into my face and just feels amazing! Thank you for all you do!! Gina
I did like the Nars foundation a lot but the MU4ever reformulated one I do want to try. I very much enjoyed this and I hope you have a good week. Take care. Melissa.
My 55 year old skin is very dry and I love the L’Oréal 4 in 1 balm on no-makeup days. It hits all my needs and looks great hours later. The whole age perfect line is pretty good
Yes Yes keep doing these videos! Who can keep up with all the new releases? It’s overwhelming! The fact you considered all skin types in your ranking sets you apart! I’m 67 and don’t watch many influencers my age because I do like medium to full coverage. That’s one of the reasons I follow you! When the right foundation is applied correctly, it hides my many imperfections without looking thick or clownish. Please do more comparisons and rankings like this. I don’t need a detailed evaluation of each one because I trust you!
I have been loving the new MUF foundation and my mature skin is normal starting to lean a tiny bit dry. I set it lightly but don't have to powder more during the entire day. When you turned the bottled upside down I said, "That's the shade I have!" ☺️ I ordered online and it took 4 tries to get the perfect shade!! 🤷🏼♀️ I do enjoy the Nars foundation but the MUF gets my gold star 🌟.
Hi Risa, I stopped at Sephora the other day wanting a new foundation. They helped me and I bought the One Bite. Coincidence your review. I feel I have normal skin, in my sixties. I loved the way it went on and felt. Other than that a complete fail. I’m returning it. After an hour I looked in a mirror and u wouldn’t know I had anything on. I used a primer and used a powder. Also, seemed like the tube was half empty. My go to is double wear. Thank you for all your reviews and hard work.
Loved this ranking video! I vote for doing this style again (maybe for other products too?) . After two years of wearing a mask at work (with no end in sight) I gave up wearing foundation except for 2 or 3 days a month. I realized that full coverage foundation just didn’t look right anymore, so now I wear a light coverage. But with mature oily skin, that’s been a struggle to find one I like. I keep wanting to try these new foundations that are coming out, but I know I just won’t wear them enough to make it worth while. It’s a struggle!
Your videos help so much with choosing the right products!! I’m going to try the Age Perfect because the way you describe it, it sounds perfect for balanced skin!!!
Thank you so much Risa especially for ranking the foundations for the dryer skin ladies(me). I have been using the IT Cosmetics luminous cc cream for a while but I also like to explore other options. Have a great day💐
I just tried the Makeup forever reboot foundation. It is so good too! Doesn’t settle into fine lines and blurs with a light coverage. Will be perfect foe summer!
Thank you for reviewing cosmetics for oily skin at a mature age. No one my age has oily skin and I waste a lot of time watching reviews for very dry skin foundations and other products. Thanks for your honesty.
Thank you for including dry skin. I have dry/extremely dry skin. I would like this to be a regular review whenever you have enough new foundations to warrant it.
Thanks Riss for mentioning us dry skin gals. The Makeup Forever original was my holy grail for years and years, worked beautifully on my dry skin so when I heard they were discontinuing it I went and bought several several backups. I’m happy to say this new one also works on my dry skin, I’m sooo happy👏👏🥰
Love this type of video. If only I could decide if I am truly oily or dry. I tend to think dry (at least in the winter) because everything settles into lines and I get polka dot pores with ANY powder over anything! I will check out the L'oreal and get a sample of the One/Size as you suggest. The only thing I have found that consistently seems to look decent on my skin is Missha BB Cream. I want more coverage. Thank you, Risa!
I just got the NARS and I LOVE it. I have combo/ oily and I think it’s so beautiful. I’m thinking of going to Sephora today and trying the OS after watching you rave.. I watched so many vids of ppl who said the MUF is orange 🍊 🤦🏻♀️.. The videos I’ve watched says they changed the shades from past ranges. It completely turned me off. I’ll let you know how the OS works for me😘
Lol, I have dry 46 yr old skin and hated the L’Oréal balm on me. I had no coverage, no improvement in my skin and no longevity. It also made my skin look drier somehow. Go figure! I may check out the Makeup Forever HD skin one though. Thanks for the recommendation! 👍🏻☺️
I just got a sample of Makeup forever HD and I LOVE it! I'm turning 50 yrs old this year and I have a combo /slightly dry skin. I do use pore bluring primer on my nose. Thank you for the video,it is very helpful!
I have dry skin and the Charlotte works great with a primer and powder. But the Dior glow is my new favorite. But my favorite overall is Fenty blur ease drops
This video was exactly the kind of video I love! Thank you for your helpful, and thorough reviews! I feel like it’s harder to find content for oily skin than it is for normal, or dry.
I have dry skin that I happen to do a ton of skin care prep for and the Nara foundation really impressed me the moment I tried it on. I was so surprised by how much I liked it. I don’t have dry patches and I’ve really been trying to tackle my skincare issues so it could be that I’m learning more normal but it really was beautiful on. Like my skin and freckles but no redness and even toned. Felt so natural looking.
Hi Risa! Great video and thanks for including the dry skin category! I do love the L’Oreal age perfect tinted balm. It looked perfect on my dry skin yesterday- only the second day I’ve worn it. I also love the new Kosas foundation. I do want to try the One Size BBB and the Caliray skin tint soon too.
Yup, I loved the Ultra HD foundation. And this re formulation is HD skin foundation is a great matte foundation but it doesn’t compare to the old formula. It’s a complete different functioning formula and look. It does cover more. It is more matte and therefore better for oily skin. I’m combo skin and liked the skin natural sheer finish of the Ultra HD. I think HD skin is great since I bought it and tried it but I won’t be keeping it as to me the previous formula was superior. And this HD skin is just another matte foundation. So really like you said. People who don’t like old formula like the new more often and people who loved old formula usually are mad and don’t like it. I’m not really mad. I think the new foundation is a great formula. Just different, but for me I won’t be keeping it because now I reach for EL double wear mixed with the Lancôme skin serum and it makes it more hydrating and now has become my new HG. While I used to really hate double wear! Lol now I love it cuz of the mix with the skin serum.
WOW!!! I just wanted to say you looked so flawless in the makeup forever foundation...you’re very beautiful, thanks again for reviewing all the foundations.
I agree with everything she said about the Make Up Forever Foundation. I am 66 with very challenging skin. I have oily skin, fine lines, huge pores, acne scars and texture. I need high coverage to cover all of my imperfections. This foundation is stunning on mature skin and makes my skin look smooth and supple. It is my holy grail.
I'm almost 40 and have dry, sensitive skin with large pores, and really enjoy the light reflecting foundation from Nars. Think I'm going to have to try the BBB cream!
Thank you for sharing the type of skin you have and your age as this information right at the beginning of the video helped make my decision to continue watching or not. Thank you again! One wants to relate, right?
THANK YOU Risa for the *EXTRA* step of ranking for Dry skin!!! You went above & beyond what other TH-camrs do, and it's greatly appreciated!!I love to hear your opinion about the products for your skin type, as well! Ty
I almost skipped this video till I happen to catch this first comment. My dry skin and I Thank you!!!
Yes, I appreciate it as well, as a dried-skin gal. All of my favorite influencers have oily skin, so usually I am all on my own when it comes to complexion products. Thank goodness Sephora/Ulta accepts returns, lol.
I have dry skin as well.

I have mature oily t zone The one size is my favorite

Absolutely agree with you Lizzette Miranda! Risa is my beauty guru 🥰
@lizzette can I ask what your skin type is? My skin is hormonal acne prone (I get milia easily which sucks) and reddish sensitive, textured as a result. It CAN get oily but I don’t think it’s oily. Thanks Risa! One of the very best things about you is that you really put in the effort to inform ALL of your viewers... you do the legwork to get all the knowledge about a product before you present... thank you for that...
Agreed. Love her she explains so we can understand
Thank you Risa! I am mid 40s with oily skin and you are the person I trust the mist for foundation reviews!
Same. I trust Risa and Cassie from Thiftthick. She’s late 20s, or just 30 but she is oily and sweaty like me!
I would love to see a video of you doing your eye look with the Soft Glam palette. I know it’s an older palette but so beautiful and I never get tired of seeing new looks with it!!

Wow! Thanks for this feedback! I have normal mature skin and your recommendation is really helpful! What kind of coverage does it have? 🌸
Risa is the only youtuber I trust. She is honest and extremely talented.
YES please Iove this type of video from you. Your reviews take in ALL skin types and I look for that. I can't tell you how many foundations I've purchased that are NOT at all good on me. So THANK you Risa! 😊❤️

Good , informative video. My skin type is 90% of the time combination. Looking forward to the next video.
Risa thank you so much for the comparisons. Extremely helpful. Also giving us your dry skin comparisons help me ❤️❤️

I saw that video and I love the Nars Foundation. This is a great review video Risa and I thank you so much for doing this one too.
Yes, Yes please do this often! I'm looking to buy a new foundation because my skin has went crazy on me & turned very dry so this was very helpful.
Yes I would love to see more of these videos every couple of months. They are so helpful.
Would love to see you continue to review foundations. Love watching what you think.
As a mature viewer with dry skin, I LOVE your content and very much appreciate this style of video! Thank you!!
Thank you so much for including us dry skin girls!! Much appreciated and I trust your advice❣️❣️❣️👍💋

Risa, good point about being offered by sponsored companies.
Excellent video comparing these foundations!! You gave us different perspectives for different skin types which was extremely helpful!! Loved it!!!
Now I have my choices narrowed down!!
Thanks so very much👍⭐️⭐️⭐️
Risa. I loved this. Such a good list. I’m
Very dry and Turning 51 next month so I’ve tried a lot of these. I reviewed the Water Tint way back in early December. One of your best videos! So thorough, so honest. Much appreciate all your hard work!
This was so helpful! Would you ever consider doing a video on eye makeup for eye glasses wearers? 💜
Risa, loved the video! Yes, do more like this. Ahhh, to be 22 again with young skin. Actually, at 22 I had extremely oily skin. It's still oily but getting more normal as the years go by.
Love your reviews and agree with tons of your recs! I have super oily skin living in Tx climate 🤘🏼
i bought the one size foundation and powder foundation. perfect color on me the best match i’ve ever had. LOVE these!!!!
I can’t WAIT TO BUY IT!!!!
I’m trying so hard to like use loads of foundation now… 😝 so I can run through my bottle more quickly 😆
Risa, you really went over and above with this video! I’m going to give that One Size foundation a go! Looks like perfection!
I’ve heard great things about this product as well…. I’m def going to try IT ❤️
Thanks for recommending those little flower earrings from Amazon. I bought three colors and I love them❤️❤️❤️
Liked your honesty about the nars and tilbury foundation
Love this 😀 ❤️. Certainly would love to see mote of these!
Risa, I agree with you on all your comments. I’m 54 with normal skin with some dry patches here & there. I also did videos on comparing some of the new foundations. I CANNOT wear matte anything. I'm 38 with combo skin, and I love the Nars light reflecting foundation. It's been amazing.
Me too!! I just got it and I too am oily /combo. I think it looks so beautiful on my skin even after a full day of blowing out hair and working. I still have to blot it but it doesn’t break up . 😻
Enjoyed this video and the inclusion of ranking for dry skin. I'd love to see another in a few months. In the meantime, I'm going to try the Loreal!
@Sue Steudle come to know my mature skin makeup channel from Brazil, you will be welcome, thank you

I did like the Nars foundation a lot but the MU4ever reformulated one I do want to try. I very much enjoyed this and I hope you have a good week. Take care. Melissa.
This was so helpful! Thank you for your hard work for women with mature skin! ❤
My 55 year old skin is very dry and I love the L’Oréal 4 in 1 balm on no-makeup days. It hits all my needs and looks great hours later. The whole age perfect line is pretty good
Love all your videos. I’ve learned so much. I’m much older than you with similar skin. Thank you
Yes Yes keep doing these videos!
Thank you for your comment! I love to hear what people with a different skin type experience. I totally agree that the tube feels half empty!
Super helpful, Risa! Yes!!! Please keep doing these when you get 6-8 of them!!!
Have a great day💐
I use It Luminous, too. It’s a great formula for dry skin and the scent is amazing.
@@reedh.5309 Yes agree🌞
I just tried the Makeup forever reboot foundation. It is so good too! Doesn’t settle into fine lines and blurs with a light coverage. Will be perfect foe summer!
Thank you for reviewing cosmetics for oily skin at a mature age. No one my age has oily skin and I waste a lot of time watching reviews for very dry skin foundations and other products. Thanks for your honesty.
Thank you for including dry skin. I have dry/extremely dry skin. I would like this to be a regular review whenever you have enough new foundations to warrant it.
I have the same skin. I agree!
I love the Loreal Balm so much! I have dry skin and it's beautiful. My favorite thing is how easy it is!
I would love it if you did this video more often. Very helpful......Thanks
Thank you for this HONEST, non-sugarcoated review!
I have dry skin I will have to try those, thanks for the recommendations.
Can you rank the till now top 10 please!
This video was exactly the kind of video I love! Thank you for your helpful, and thorough reviews! I feel like it’s harder to find content for oily skin than it is for normal, or dry.
I am 54 with oily skin. I’ve tried a few foundations, but I haven’t been happy with any of them.
Thank you for testing these products for us.
Thank you Risa! I have a sample of the One Size and can’t wait to try it!
It was helpful to have a different ranking for dry mature skin. Thanks ❤️
Hi Risa thank you for ranking the foundation’s I appreciate your opinion would love you to do more of this as it’s very helpful best wishes 🌷🥀🌹🌸
So glad you keep your information true!
Almost 49?! You look incredible!!!!
Right!!!!!!! SHE’S LEGIT MAGICAL
Loved this video ! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!
Thanks, it's really helpful to have these put into a ranking context.
Oh! You're doing the dryer skin too! Yay! Sorry, commenting as I watch and ice had phone calls so I wasn't able to watch when I first started.
YES!!!! The ONE/SIZE BBB Cream is sooooo good. It really does blur.
I'd love a makeup revolution, profusion and lys dedicated video! 😘💜
WOW!!! I just wanted to say you looked so flawless in the makeup forever foundation...you’re very beautiful, thanks again for reviewing all the foundations.
Hi Risa! I was wondering if there is a self-tanner you would recommend. Thank you!
Hi! I’m currently using the deep bronze mousse from Jergens!
@@RisaDoesMakeup thank you for the quick response!
Thankyou Risa, so good you did this for all skin types. I'm 42 and lately all the foundations I have look differently each day🤦🏻♀️
I agree with everything she said about the Make Up Forever Foundation.
Love the content! Would love to see this every few months. I totally appreciate all the hard work you put into all your videos…
I’ve been anxiously waiting for this video!!
