I have been watching you for a few months now because I live near Galveston and it's either humid or dry. I am 63 yrs old with fair skin, large pores, spider veins and somewhat dry skin plus a few wrinkles. I have tried and returned sooooo many foundations until Make Up Forever's new foundation..... WOW!!!!! This lasts all day, does not show pores, wrinkles or spider veins. It melds with my skin and just makes it look so flawless and natural!!! I think I'm done hunting for the one!! ❤️
By the way, this foundation wears beautifully all day long..... and another huge bonus is this foundation does not show my uneven textures!!! Whew!!! ❤️
Thank you, thank you! I love the same shade you use in Estee lauder futurist. But it's too "dewey" (read oily) for me. I'm 60 years old and my skin has completely changed. I was oily all my life and now I can get very dry. I use tretinoin for my old lady acne. I can still get oily in my t-zone-especially in humid weather. I have tried so many foundations that I think my husband's ready to shoot me😉 But since your my shade twin and did such a thorough job in your review, I'm ready to try one more time with Makeup Forever. I have super impressed with the Estée Lauder futurist hydra rescue! I’m 44 and it looks amazing, goes on amazing with a damp beauty blender or a brush. I have normal skin
I have dry skin and I’m 49 years old. I love the MUFE HD skin. It does perform differently depending on skin prep and primer. If I use a super hydrating moisturizer or a silicone primer it slides off the face. With a lighter moisturizer and pore perfecting primer (not the MUFE one) it lasts most of the day without touch ups. Feels nice and lightweight. I’m going to try the Chanel next. Thanks Stephanie !

Yes, that’s so helpful. I liked the Dior face & body foundation, but phew it has a strong perfumey smell that was just too much for me. Makes me nervous of other Dior options.
LOVE your Foundation reviews! 🥰 My skin has changed drastically since starting Spironolactone and tretinoin - it’s finally “normal” (from being oily all year round), but it’s super duper sensitive now, so I’m still prone to breakouts and dehydration. I think my tretinoin strength is too strong, not sure but something needs adjusting and I’m looking for different foundations to try. I am 57, combo skin with acne (for the first time in my life)...I have about 100 foundations that I have tried in the last year...Absolutely did not like the ELF Camo powder foundation, or the liquid that was previously launched.(And I am a top tier ELF member). I have recently purchased Revolution Super Dewey tinted moisturizer at Target for $11.00...It is not that dewey, however, for my schizophrenic skin it's been MAGICAL. I was SHOOK at the amount of coverage I got AND it does not look like I am wearing any foundation at all...it is completely buildable as well.

Hi😊. I am 49 and I have normal to dry skin. I love the Elf Camo powder. It didn't make my face dry feeling and I've gotten several compliments on my make up. I don't have large pores though. Stephanie, please try out La Bella Donna powder mineral makeup . I have used it for a couple years . Living in Hawaii its hot and humid year round and this mineral powder has 50 spf and goes on so easy. You can dust it on or layer for more coverage. Lots of colors too. Love for you to review it !

I would love to see a review on the Morphe soft filter effect foundation and concealer. I am not typically a Morphe user, but I have tried these and they have both become HG status on my mature skin … And I have tried lots of foundations and concealers! I think they are 100% underrated because they’re from Morphe.

Just today I tried the One Size Turn Up the Base BBB cream and I'm telling you I love it do far!!! I have to give credit to Risa for my trying it. I had skipped ordering it twice after reading reviews. But decided to go for it after Risa said she loved it. Even though my mature skin type normal with a little dryness which is different than Risa's. I'd love for you to try it so we can see how it works for you and your skin type.
Makeup forever is one of my favs...2nd. But gets oily WITH primer. Liked the old formula better. Lancome is my fav. And Laura Geller powder foundation is holy grail in summer. Returned my Makeup Forever HD. Initially when I put it on I loved how it looked...application was beautiful but then I noticed the overpowering smell of alcohol and my skin started to burn...just slightly but it was definitely uncomfortable. It then started to gather around dry patches within 2 hours...I took it off. Not for me. Also, turns out alcohol is the third ingredient!

I’m 29 but have dry skin and live in a cold dry climate so I like hydrating dewy and satin foundations. The chanel one seems to have good reviews but it’s quite pricy. NARS have always been my go to brand for complexion
I love the new Makeup Forever HD Skin foundation. HOWEVER, I bought three different shades and they are, virtually identical. I am not sure what's up with that, but I can't seem to get a darker shade for when I do a spray tan. It's frustrating because it isn't cheap and their numbering system is too freaking confusing.
The Lisa Eldridge foundation pools up in my pores, polka dot pores as you said (with and w/o a pore filling primer), so I have a feeling the MUFE won’t work for me. 😩 I’m reading comments from women with dry mature skin saying it looks amazing on them so I wish I knew what I was doing wrong. While I’m not considered mature yet, my skin definitely isn’t youthful either. So why doesn’t the LE work for me?! (And likely the MUFE.) Anyway, I’m really enjoying the new Kosas and NARS foundations right now. Both are beautiful formulas and my current favorites. I have normal to dry skin.
I also have normal to dry skin and I've found that I cant use moisturiser under my SPF. If I do use moisturiser I have to use a gel one and wait for at least half an hour before I put foundation on. And I rub it in one more time. I do the same with SPF. If I don't I get little dotty pores once the foundation dries.
I'd be interested in seeing your review of the tower 28 spf foundation. I live in a hot & humid southern climate as well. On top of that, I work long hours, often outdoors. I need a longlasting makeup that can withstand all that.

I 100% agree on the Elf Camo Powder! It did exactly the same to me. Even after I used the Elf primer (the name escapes me but it is the Milk dupe). It went back after two tries. 1st product from Elf I have ever returned.
Yes I saw on another channel that the camo conceal powder was creamy and dried Roma powder but was very very hydrating .well. it isn't. Pores just appear with powder in them instead 😥

I have kept the previous MUFE formulation around for a few years and I use it so infrequently that it has lasted a while! In future videos, can you let us know which of the foundations include SPF? I’ve found that my skin doesn’t break out if I avoid chemical SPF in foundations. I’m also curious about the Dior Forever Natural Nude, though I find it strange that it’s only available in 17 shades (it seems to have been the original “new and natural” formulation without SPF).

Could you detect a fragrance to the Dior Forever foundations? I looked on Sephora's website and they define "clean" as having less than 1% synthetic fragrance...but that doesn't tell me if it has a fragrance to it! Thank you! PS: I also LOVE Flower Beauty--their older foundation is my #1 HG Fave foundation, high end and drugstore. I'll have to try that new serum foundation, too!

I tried the MUFE today and I think I’m the only person in the world who doesn’t like it. I had to blot a lot and I live in CT. And tonight at dinner my son said he could see my makeup. It broke up a ton on me, and I didn’t like how it felt. I have been enjoying the new Kosas foundation.

It creased worse than anything else I’ve ever had under my eyes. I mean embarrassingly separated. I considered wiping it off / but I didn’t and instead I drenched a sponge with a hydrating mist and pressed it back in to blend out all the creases. I survived the day but it wasn’t purty! 😂

Returned my Makeup Forever HD. Initially when I put it on I loved how it looked...application was beautiful but then I noticed the overpowering smell of alcohol and my skin started to burn...just slightly but it was definitely uncomfortable. It then started to gather around dry patches within 2 hours...I took it off. Not for me. Also, turns out alcohol is the third ingredient!

I’m 29 but have dry skin and live in a cold dry climate so I like hydrating dewy and satin foundations. The chanel one seems to have good reviews but it’s quite pricy. NARS have always been my go to brand for complexion

I love the new Makeup Forever HD Skin foundation. HOWEVER, I bought three different shades and they are, virtually identical. I am not sure what's up with that, but I can't seem to get a darker shade for when I do a spray tan. It's frustrating because it isn't cheap and their numbering system is too freaking confusing.
The Lisa Eldridge foundation pools up in my pores, polka dot pores as you said (with and w/o a pore filling primer), so I have a feeling the MUFE won’t work for me. 😩 I’m reading comments from women with dry mature skin saying it looks amazing on them so I wish I knew what I was doing wrong. While I’m not considered mature yet, my skin definitely isn’t youthful either. So why doesn’t the LE work for me?! (And likely the MUFE.) Anyway, I’m really enjoying the new Kosas and NARS foundations right now. Both are beautiful formulas and my current favorites. I have normal to dry skin.
I also have normal to dry skin and I've found that I cant use moisturiser under my SPF. If I do use moisturiser I have to use a gel one and wait for at least half an hour before I put foundation on. And I rub it in one more time. I do the same with SPF. If I don't I get little dotty pores once the foundation dries.

I laughed when you described your skin because that’s my skin too. That and being close in age makes you my go to. If I can find a shade that works for me (the bd shades jump from bd41 to bd91) without having to buy two shades I’m going to try the Chanel. Will you try the new Estée Lauder Double Wear loose powder? It comes in matte shades and one translucent glow and I’m interested in both.

I 100% agree on the Elf Camo Powder! It did exactly the same to me. Even after I used the Elf primer (the name escapes me but it is the Milk dupe). It went back after two tries. 1st product from Elf I have ever returned.
Yes I saw on another channel that the camo conceal powder was creamy and dried Roma powder but was very very hydrating .well. it isn't. Pores just appear with powder in them instead 😥
The HD Foundation is great, but alcohol is the third ingredient and that won't work on my dry skin
I was SHOCKED when you said you a mid 40s! You look so young. Please tell me what your skin care routine is. Now I know we are all different as I have psoriasis (not all over my face but i still have dry skin except around my nose) but I need to get a good skin care routine.

I have kept the previous MUFE formulation around for a few years and I use it so infrequently that it has lasted a while! But I always knew I could count on it when I needed it because it was incredible! So I was super bummed to hear that they had reformulated it… But happy that you like this MUFE version! By any chance have you ever reviewed Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua? I basically only ever bought MUFE because Lisa Eldridge had recommended it but her other go to seems to be the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua. Would really love to know how that one works on your skin! Thank you for all the great content. ❤️

Oh that Chanel foundation looks SO good -- please don't let it have alcohol!!🙄 And It's not that the alcohol will harm my skin, rather I've yet to find one that doesn't appear dry upon application. That one looks really beautiful!🤗
I have combo skin but live in Ohio so winter time I become super dry and I love the makeup forever foundation. My first matte foundation ever normally I am dewy chic.

In future videos, can you let us know which of the foundations include SPF? I’ve found that my skin doesn’t break out if I avoid chemical SPF in foundations. I’m also curious about the Dior Forever Natural Nude, though I find it strange that it’s only available in 17 shades (it seems to have been the original “new and natural” formulation without SPF).
My bad - I missed it this one video with the Dior. I normally include that information, but accidentally overlooked it since it's such a minimal amount of protection and because they didn't mention it in their description I guess. Could you detect a fragrance to the Dior Forever foundations? I looked on Sephora's website and they define "clean" as having less than 1% synthetic fragrance...but that doesn't tell me if it has a fragrance to it! Thank you!
PS: I also LOVE Flower Beauty--their older foundation is my #1 HG Fave foundation, high end and drugstore. I'll have to try that new serum foundation, too!

I tried the MUFE today and I think I’m the only person in the world who doesn’t like it. I had to blot a lot and I live in CT. And tonight at dinner my son said he could see my makeup.
It broke up a ton on me, and I didn’t like how it felt. I have been enjoying the new Kosas foundation.

I tried the elf powder camo & I didn’t like it at all. I have 64 yo normal to dry skin.
It creased worse than anything else I’ve ever had under my eyes. I mean embarrassingly separated. I considered wiping it off / but I didn’t and instead I drenched a sponge with a hydrating mist and pressed it back in to blend out all the creases. I survived the day but it wasn’t purty! 😂
I hate it, too. Even on my forehead where everything looks good its bad…breaks up and enhances everything 🥲
@@claudiah8905YES!! By the end of the day when I went to go wash my face I had the most pronounced lines on my forehead as well. I threw it away, it was that bad 😩
