    I work in tech. What chatgpt will really be used for is self writing code based on parameters you give it. Imagine making an app based on what you tell it you want it to do and it will provide you with error free code. From there it's just optimizing your parameters to do exactly what you want since ai can't perfectly understand what you want. This home stuff is just super basic and not that scary.

      ChatGPT isn’t a complete solution for coding, and it won’t be any time soon because it’s incapable of persisting context for long enough to be useful. Use it for coding and it drifts unless to re-explain everything and paste in new code-even then it’s not perfect. Plus, having it solve a problem the way you want it is impossible. Helpful, but hardly a solution.

    • @marcofregoso1195
      @marcofregoso1195 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@WANHandlerWell it can't persist context because it's not really a dedicated coding tool. Wait until it can generate a whole project on its own and have the capacity to keep track of a whole repository. At that point it won't be an issue about the context, and more about how good it can code. GPT 4 isn't at that level yet, but having AI generate a whole project wouldn't be too far fetched.

      Whenever I tell people about the changes that are coming with these ai programmes people are always so deluded and say yeah but my jobs safe I'm a coder and it will never be able to take my job. People can't comprehend the way these programmes work and how the data compounds and the learning compounds they don't learn like humans.
      A human learns something but we forget other things that were not training or using AI learns something then never forgets it and its information compounds exponentially. Once AI gets the hang of coding its game over for the coders.

Ai will recommend video games and content to foster dialogue and positive social interaction. Ai will subsequently offer content suggestions and social interactions to further solidify the friendship on social media. Ai will identify a potential marriage partner as the cousin of one of the new friends. Ai will place the kid and cousin in social interactions over the next decade bringing them together. One day they will bump into each other on the first day of college, fall in love and live a fulfilled and happy life together. All this while the parents are upstairs, in the bathtub, sipping martinis.
