    START - big time!! 😎
Such a great video, I love the approach to go back to a more personal and "natural" style, and you guys definitely have the personalities and energy for that 😉
It's so cool you've been to Russia together and experience how it really is, despite everything you hear about it these days. This is really what being a travel content creator is all about, in my opinion. And the "Slavic face" is real, haha 😅
I wish for you to keep having fun with your travels, to not stress out and never lose that passion!
Oh, and also happy birthday to you, Justin, and happy belated birthday to you, Alina! 🎉
Looking forward to the next videos, you legends 😉

I actually liked your content more when you were just talking to the camera naturally! Even when those videos were like an hour long, they had a unique charm to them. Like those videos where Justin's just going on a walk trying to find a barber for a haircut, and eating a cheap lunch meal beside the road; those videos were the best from your channel. I was sad when you transitioned your content to a very polished and "generic" travel vlog as it became just one of many travel videos here on TH-cam. I'm glad you guys are back on track and I'm excited for your next videos!

  • @000T00b

I’m new to your channel. I always follow ‘natural’ vloggers. The channels that are too slick and edited are not as appealing, they all feel the same, and superficial. Anyone can Google the ‘best places to go’ info, whereas I am expecting to experience the journey with my favourite vloggers, hearing what their personal impressions are, their personal take on anything. It doesn’t even have to be an amazing place or event, even the most mundane of things, grocery shopping, catching the train, walking in the park, etc are fascinating- simply because it is so different from where I am, and your travels gives me a chance to be a backseat traveller, sharing the ups and downs of the journey. I am looking forward the most to your China travels in the future, but am glad to see any place you go to.

Hi Justin and Alina, I found your channel through your trans-Siberian rail series; keep up the great work! Also a really humble and honest share about some of the low points. I’ve been to many of the places you’ve travelled and wish you knew some of the hacks for example in China, Japan, maybe next time, to make your life easier. My wife and I love travel, we’re up to 34 countries now, and I just want to reassure you keep doing what you love, and save those memories of travel, they’re just so rewarding. I grew up in Hong Kong and Melbourne, I definitely can relate to Justin’s story. Good on you two for trying to make life work around it. I’ll comment and like your Trans-Siberian series too!

Hi Justin and Alina, this is the first time I've come by your channel as it came up on my feed, and have subbed. I agree wholeheartedly about what you are experiencing with your travel videos on TH-cam. I'm a very small travel channel with low views. It does take some work to put a video together, although we strive to make our videos as best as we can, without taking too much time out of our personal life. Do your videos whenever you feel most comfortable, and I look forward to seeing more of your videos!

What if in addition to your travel to get it more exciting plus a new content is you explore some abandoned placed from where you at. People loves to watch it specially here in the Philippines. And again, just enjoy whatever you do on your travel. Film it and upload it. Don't mind the views and the earnings. It'll eventually come as long as do what you do and you love it.

START, I am glad to see you reboot the YT videos. The 3+ months reset was probably a good idea. Everybody experiences challenges with work, income, and personal struggles, but it is important to learn from the past and create the future. Never give up and keep the videos coming. You are so close to making a significant breakthrough. By this time next year, I would not be surprised if your videos started yielding 200000 views+. By 2027, your videos will be regularly seeing 1M+ views. I seen many TH-camr couples like you go through the same issues and now they are all regularly experiencing 1M+ views/video and have earned great money. Peace

Yeah I think you lost on the part that it is not jst about the traveling but your life, who you are as well? I lost track in you that’s why I don’t feel like watching anymore because I fee like you’re all over the place i guess. The connection was gone, it’s the timing maybe? I don’t know too, just my thoughts. But I am glad that you’re now back and connecting. Will try to help out and watch the previous vids because I am now wondering where you are, why you left bgc. You know that kind of connection, like keeping us with you while you do your adventures rather than making us watch you because you’re in some other place. The reason for the low views for your recent videos (Georgia) is due to the TH-cam algorithm. I've been a subscriber to your channel for quite some time and watch almost all of your videos (mostly Philippines and SEA) but I've never watched a video (from anyone) about Georgia so TH-cam assumes I'm not interested in videos about Georgia and therefore TH-cam doesn't present those videos in my TH-cam feed. I'd have to explicitly go directly to your TH-cam channel to find those videos and since I have so many TH-cam videos presented to me in my TH-cam feed, I run out of time to go searching for interesting videos at TH-cam channels I'm subscribed to. Now that I know you have some videos of other places, especially Georgia (which I am interested in finding out more about that country), I'll be watching your videos about that country and looking forward to your videos about Vietnam since that's a country on my "must visit" list when I get out to the Philippines to retire.

@@Eduline_Georgia My point is--I've had every one of their videos of the Philippines presented to me in my YT feed but nothing from Georgia. It's because I've never watched anything about Georgia but have watched lots of videos about the Philippines.

I LOVED your Georgia travel vlogs, but I understand that maybe many of your followers followed you from Asian travels, and maybe they were less interested in Georgia (while I'm a post-soviet countries fan, so I'd watch with pleasure if you had endless videos about Georgia and other post-Soviet countries). Or maybe the algorithm was not used to non-Asian travels so it pushed less your Georgia videos?
As a small TH-camrs myself I totally understand your points anyway, it takes so long to film and edit videos that one would love to have a good return. I'm anyway loving your videos, even Vietnam etc. ones, even if I normally prefer other destination, because I just love love your personality!!! :) I hope to see one day videos from Russia or other post-soviet countries :)

Hi, I've lived in Georgia for a long time and can tell you there's general interest in coming here and learning about the country. However, as you've probably noticed, Georgia has experienced a post-pandemic digital nomad boom and is often overfilmed place these days because of that. So many people have learned that it's a great place for horse riding, nature, etc. I noticed your video about staying in the Georgian qvevri hotel got comparatively higher views, so perhaps you could focus on less featured and less well known aspects of countries. Best of luck!

KL is okay, though super modern and Western-ish. Apartments there could be apartments anywhere. I agree with you. Very city.

You can go back to the Philippines, and you can make simple video that won't cost you much😊 and Filipinos are one of the people that spend lots of time on social media...and you can gain back your viewers😊 lots of foreign vloggers are in the Philippines and they're doing great... you can reinvent your channel(not only for travel) we are open for changes you know😊 so don't worry

Vlogging is the Philippines is saturated. Numbers are declining Too much competition may not be good, unless the vloggers have unique to offer.

You guys are my new " discovery ", over the years I've seen you tubers seem on their way to major success, like reach like 100+K subs and end up stagnant or dropped off when dealing with certain challenge, for example one girl could not deal with sexaual harassment while solo traveling and hate comments!
One thing about traveling is to break down your preconceived notion about certain country or culture! So share your sentiment of not vlogging in Russia when I saw your Chrismas in Russia short! That why I'm kind of a little put off by Justin Western media (propaganda) indoctrinate mind set which is in itself liminting factor if you want to "know" the world and not just for fun per sec! Watch someone like "little Chinese everywhere" or " Sabbatical" kind of like non judgmental presentation good or bad!
You guy have personality, cuteness and chemistry between two of you to have an old f like me to begn

Admit it or not, they used the Filipino audience to gain a following. Filipinos love the attention, you should’ve played it smart like all the other foreign vloggers in the country.
P.S. love what you do and everything will follow. If you really love content creation then the number of views won’t matter. With everyone being a content creator these days, you should be creative and make your own brand. There’s no easy money.
