    4 ROW REPEAT
Starting with Row 6 use this 4 row repeat :
    Row 2 ch3 and turn
3 dc tog, *ch7, 6dc tog *repeat across
end with a 3 dc tog in the top of 3dc from previous row
dc in last st to finish
    [CLUSTER]
    Row 3 ch3 and turn
3dc in the top of the 3dc tog from prev row
sc in ch1 space (around the ch7 to anchor it down)
*3dc, ch1, 3dc in top of cluster from previous row, sc in nxt space
    *repeat across
3dc in top of the half cluster from previous row. dc in last stitch.
    [FAN]
    Row 4 ch1 and turn
sc in first st , ch 3
*6dc tog in top of the 6 dc's from previous row, ch7 . *repeat across
after last 6dc tog, ch 3 then sc in last st.
    [CLUSTER]
    Row 5 ch1 and turn
*3dc, ch1, 3dc in top of cluster from prev row, sc in ch1 space
    *repeat across
    [FAN]
To end your project, finish on "Row 4 "
ch1 turn and sc across the top
    TIPS:
FAN: 3dc, ch1, 3dc (makes top of diamond)
CLUSTER: 6dc tog (makes bottom of diamond)
Use a stitch marker whenever you begin the 4 row sequence. Simple but such a time saver!
    Remember that row 2 and 3 begin with a ch3 and row 4 and 5 begin with a ch1

Hi! This is a beautiful pattern for blankets and scarves. Be sure to check the info in the description box below the video. I've added written details of the 4 row repeat to go along with the video. Hope this helps to memorize this pattern. It's really easy once you get the hang of it. Would love to know what you're working on these days!

@Cheryl very sImilar but done differently. With the Catherine wheel you’ll get a rounder pattern than this one. You’ll get a more diamond looking stitch with the harlequin . .
      👍🏻💕

Thanks very much. Beautiful pattern. My grandmother used to use this pattern in silk thread to cover wooden coathangers. Now I have seen this I can make some myself. I have silk thread hangers that are a hundred years old in continuous use.

I love your videos, the way you teach is super helpful in understanding the way to effect the stitch. I’m working on your sunburst granny square at the moment. I’m curious about the way you hold your yarn, maybe you could film a quick video about that. Thank you!

Beautiful pattern and great tutorial! I'm using Caron simply soft , if I use an H hook(5) will I get a nice drape ? Or should I use bigger hook ,

    • @PlayHookywithMe
      @PlayHookywithMe  2 ปีที่แล้ว

I can’t say for sure since I haven’t worked with that particular yarn but it should be fine. 👍🏻
The best way to know is to try it and see what you think.
      All yarns behave differently.
      Hope you enjoy it! 😀🧶💕

You might have to Google that because I’m not sure what your are viewing from.
If you are on a Mac you should be a able to screen shot it with , control alt 4.
On your phone you can screen shot with the power button and volume button pressed at the same time (iPhone)
But Google how to screenshot might help most.
      Keep me posted! 🙌🏻

How would you decrease or increase on this stitch. I want to make bikini I seen a picture there was no pattern nothing for sale. It started showed in picture 2 circles or whatever they are called then moved up to 5 maybe. Then so on. But the bikini was made from the hip to hip instead of say belly button to down below. If that makes since. I'm new to this stitch. And I wanted something besides sc or dc trying to learn stitches I have trouble on decreasing and increasing anyways. Thank you for your time.. hugs

    • @PlayHookywithMe
      @PlayHookywithMe  2 ปีที่แล้ว

I have no idea on how to increase/decrease this stitch. I’d have to study it and figure it out. Sorry , I’m clueless when it comes to making garments! 💕
