how much is it to progress in reg server at a reasonable pace? i know ppl will hate but i like being able to spend to speed up progression. I can't afford to whale though. Is it true that a few hundred or thousand dollar only gets you the same speed as reboot progression? I also really don't like how you can't switch equips or use the auction house on reboot. but I hear progression is so much worse on regular. thoughts/advice?
It’s very hard. I am F2P in this server, but if you are a new player, reboot will be substantially friendlier 😅. This account is VERY old and the only real good reason to be in reg server is purchasable cash equips in the AH. If you were to spend money on cash cubes, yes - hundreds or thousands of dollars would be the same speed. I have been patiently and strategically using the 60 or so cash cubes we get for free every event to get to where my main is at. For all these mules, hard/solid cubes are sufficient. In general, due to the Reboot final damage buff (which got nerfed recently in v251 but is still present), by the time a reg server player is able to min clear HLomein, an equivalently time invested reboot player can easily clear CTene. You’ll see most boss solo videos are from Reboot players. If you find videos of boss solos by the same class by a reg server player, you will find the reg server player needs significantly higher stats to solo in an equivalent amount of time. If you are a new player, just go to reboot 😅. I don’t feel the ability to make your character look spiffy F2P in reg server is a good enough reason to come here. Hopefully that helped!
