  • Today I am trying soft gel nail strips by NAILOG to see how they work. This is my first time trying soft gel nail strips and I have to say they were easier to apply than I thought. You will need an LED or UV lamp to cure these soft gel strips since they are only semi cured. There is no painting, skill or polish required to apply these nail strips. These gel nail strips come in a variety of solid colors and designs.

    A better way is to cut the mail strip in half after measuring against your mail so you have two from one strip if your nails are short enough. That way you’re not wasting the top half. 😉

      Yes! I learned that while filming this video! I have started doing that. Thanks :)

    Wow, this is a great video. I love my gel nail polish but miss the designs from when I wore press ons. This will completely take care of that. TFS :-)

    OH MY GOSH!!! I REALLY NEEDED THIS VIDEO! THANK YOU SO MUCH! 🤩. I have been getting bombarded with gel strip ads!!! They look really nice on you!😍. I don't know if anal me would top coat just to cap the free edge, lol, probably. Are they removed the same way as regular gel polish? Thank you again!!!🥰

      Your welcome! I am glad this was helpful! So I haven’t removed mine yet but as per the instructions it says it use the organs stuck to lift the strip from the edge and peel it off then clean your nail with an alcohol wipe which means no acetone required! I will try and film the removal process either in my Instagram or TH-cam but so far so good they are going strong!

    Awesome job 💗🌟
    I've use them before however, these seem to be a better quality. How long did they last?

    • @CreateYourSpace_.
      @CreateYourSpace_.  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! Yeah they felt good quality. I had mine on for about 8 days but I had to remove them because I needed to do my nails for something else. Up until the 8 day mark they were pretty much perfect though so I’m sure they would have lasted longer.

    Have you ever seen the "clear" gel polish strips?
    If so, would color gel polish cure correctly if i paint it over them?

    • @CreateYourSpace_.
      @CreateYourSpace_.  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I haven’t seen any clear ones usually because these strips have the base color and top coat all in one strip. If you just looking for a base to paint on top of I’m sure you could paint on top of any of the colors after you cure it, hopefully that makes sense! :)

    Have u tried making them a little longer and than curring them?

    • @CreateYourSpace_.
      @CreateYourSpace_.  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have not, they do feel pretty hard after they are cured but I think you might need some reinforcement for them to stay strong

    How long did they last on your nails

      They lasted about 8 days before I felt the need to remove them because the edges were getting caught in my hair.

    How do you remove it ?

    • @CreateYourSpace_.
      @CreateYourSpace_.  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The officially instructions say you can gently peel them off however I recommend using some acetone or trying to pull a string of floss under it from an edge that’s already lifting a little :)

  • @cherry_4755

    can we do it without the uv lamp??

    • @CreateYourSpace_.
      @CreateYourSpace_.  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No unfortunately you cannot do this without a uv lamp. You need the lamp in order to harden the gel strips onto your nail.

    how to remove them?

    • @CreateYourSpace_.
      @CreateYourSpace_.  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can use some acetone to remove them just like removing regular gel polish, hope this helps!

  • @poolahpot
    @poolahpot ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Have you even tried nail "polish" strips? (not the gel polish but just regular polish)

    Note: keep the rest of the strips away from the lamp!
