@@realPO1ZON I definitely gotta re-edit this screen capture now that I remember this and reupdate this to help answer those questions. It’ll fit you if you’re 6”2
I am thinking XT 10 or XT 15. What size would you pick for casual 1 day hiking- sweater/jacket, clean tshirt and socks, couple of beers/water, snacks and some small items. Also i would like to carry a 3 leg camping stool/chair- it should be fittable with the straps onto the bag?
So in my opinion the straps on this bag aren’t really going to hold a camping chair the way you may think it would. If you’re gonna do a hiking bag my personal recommendation depending on the dimension of the chair would be the trailblazer 30 liter bag. 15 liters is only good for about half a days worth of hiking a full days hike you should probably think bigger. Hopefully this helps out a little bit!!
What are your thoughts on the lack of structure in the back? The trailblazer model seems a bit more robust and doesn’t turn in to a cylindrical shape when it’s full. Any other thought on the comparison vs the trailblazer?
Hello there user! So I actually do have the trailblazer 30 and it’s served a good purpose in keep the dexterity and integrity in the back position. Couple of things to keep in mind with it though. 1. It’s not a weekender bag 2. It does not have front pockets like this 3. It is bigger in a sense but may be too big for some folks leaving loose space allowing stuff to shift But there’s also 1. Lots of space! Multiple pockets to organize your stuff 2. A hydration bladder pocket alongside 2 mesh bottle pockets 3. A good load bearing system 4. Some pretty comfy hip belts Overall I’d say xt 15 vs trailblazer 20-30 trailblazer has the XT trumped due to it having a more durable load bearing system. Trailblazers system isn’t a bungie chord which means it won’t adjust, however it it’s clunky and not a weekender bag as I said! Hopefully that helps!
What I see in allot of reviews that people don’t seem to understand is this is made for fastpacking, it’s not a weekender hiking pack. It’s built for running. If you are looking for a larger capacity running pack or a family daypack the XT is great, if you are looking for a structured robust hiking bag then the trailblazer is what you are looking for.
@@dbk81 To be accurate on this this is more of a hiker versed bag. The skin series is more for being a fasterpackers lifestyle based off the lack of chaffing and more flexibility. The XT series has a hip belt that does not like to stay in place vs the skin that has the under the arm pockets which makes this more of a lighter backpacking pack then a runners pack. If you want a fast packers bag anything less then 15 liters for fast packing would be good if it’s only for a singular day otherwise look more towards other brands due to the nature of the trailblazer series being more robust and less running friendly.
Thank you for making this video 🙏. I never had a backpack like this and had no clue what all the straps were 😂
Thank you, this was helpful
Do you think this oack would fit fine with someone who is 6'2
