Dave, have a look at 2 stroke performance in Australia. Custom CNC head and reflashing your standard ECU. Dyno charts show 3-4hp i the low-mid range. No affiliation, just hearing nothing but good things from the guys.
@@davewillet4764 Single ring worked on my daughters TE150. Same with 1/2 turn out on the power valve. Custom flash will work with a new exhaust. Not so sure a pipe on its own will run just quite right. Doesn't seem to be much for an answer on the over rev with the bike.
Check the VHM cylinder head and head inserts, I was on the phone with them and they are developing some really nice stuff for this 150 can't wait to get those parts
Great video I've just bought one 2022 what settings for motocross tracks would you recommend as the suspension is alot softer than my honda crf250 .cheers
Was thinking about them then brought one after watching this video. Certainly forces me to throw the bike at things more so am getting more confident riding knarly stuff.
I've got 150EXC -21. I'm 1.83 m (6) and 165 lbs. Just upgrated suspension, front WP6500 cartridge kit with 4.15 springs and rear MXTech valve, shims and 60-63-66 spring. ODI McGrath handlebar. Now it's pure fun where ever you ride 😎
Unfortunately mapping a ECU to a standard engine seemed pointless especially when you have a load of aftermarket parts to try. The sticker kit took minutes to put on 👍🏻
Sold! Thank you very much!!
I have a KTM200exc but I think I’m going to get one of these! Thank you 👍🤠 and God bless 👍👍
I,ll second that on the two stroke performance heads ,I have a couple of bikes with them installed ,they are awesome cheersd👍
Is there a test somewhere to read/watch on the 2stroke performance top and ECU?
I have the 2020 150 and love it. Best I have had yet
i have a 2013 ktm 150 with carb im 14 i love it with it was fuel injected

Ok cheers mate I’ll have a look. Personally I think my next move is a single ring piston and after market exhaust

A very good video...I have a husqvarna 150 and very happy,,,,by the way what ratio do you have,,? greetings from spain
I really want one but I'm so worried I'll feel let down by the little motor (no low torque). I'm torn between this and a 250 0r 300
Dang your good at putting on graphics wish I could do it that fast.
30 years of practice 🤣

Great video, would you say this is a good all-rounder for some basic trails and even MX?

Is this bike suited for / allowed on the road, for commuting?
Anyone know any rumours about the 150 tpi 2021?
How tall are you and how much do you weigh? I'm 6' and weigh 180 lbs. I'm wondering if the bike would be to small for me.
its fine im 6,2 230.
@@Dbars19 did you change spring rates at all
@@abracy1151 no didnt need too.
@@Dbars19 awesome I just bought 2021 150XCW haven’t rode much yet, and everyone was saying suspension was to soft on these so good to hear a positive

No but you have to worry about fule pump failing when out😂
Just a heads up
do the ECU remap BEFORE you put the sticker kit on.
Its like a priority thing.

..... but have you learnt some new skills???
@74 CYCLES in in Australia, we commonly use the term learnt whilst USA use learned more so. Hope you just learnt something 👍
