I thought this was going to be a boring interview. I almost cried during Darren’s candid description of his life since salvation. I’ve never heard such raw honest truth before! The Pentecostals/Assemblies would NOT agree with Darren’s testimony. He still battles sins that he admits liking but now he has Jesus to confess to and ask for forgiveness. Darren made me feel like I’m a more normal Christian than satan wants me to believe. I imagine a lot of Christians felt the same way. Praise God from Whom all blessings flow.

First time in Israel for me: I was in complete awe. No other way to say it. After I came home people asked me how I felt about being there I said, it felt like I was home. Home!!! And I’ve missed it since.
Lord bless his Chosen today and every day, and forever!!!

Thank you so much: yes, being Levitical shepherds makes sense and it is very important...because Jesus is the sacrificial lamb for eternal life...also, your previous explanation of the swaddling clothes and the lambs being swaddled make perfect sense...your mathematical explanations are amazing--there are no mistakes with god--he is perfect...thank you...dts/usa

Hello Rabbi. Thank you for sharing your fabulous wisdom with us. I love love love learning the Hebrew roots of the scriptures. I appreciate you so much. I wondered as I watched this episode, have you ever researched, or know anything about the Migdal Eder (tower of the flock) near Bethlehem? I was studying in Genesis 35 about a year ago and it stuck out to me, like a rayma, perhaps. A rabbit trail for sure. Oh my gosh, what a special place, it's fascinating! I would love to know what you know or see of it. (Micah 4:8; 5:2) Shalom. God bless.

Very nice, an additional to what I already knew (that Bethlehem was the place where the Easter lambs came from). Interesting that he carefully refrained from saying that the Easter lambs are born abt 1 (one) month before Easter (DEFINITELY N.O.T in December)

Read Micah chapters 4 and 5. It mentions tower of the flock which translates Migdel Eder. That is where Yeshua was born it implies. So whether that was an actual tower built for Levitical priests to inspect Passover lambs or "cave" not sure. But exciting that it was clearly foretold of the location.

Swaddling Cloths were used to protect the sacrificial lambs!
The Shepherds were the ones who examined The Lambs when born!
God showed me this years ago.

I don't claim to be an expert in gematria but I've tried every way i am familiar with to come up with a value of 310 for lamb or he will atone. Can anyone teach my what I am missing here. I am sure that the rabbi is being honest but I've tried all different combinations in hebrew and english and i come up with entirely different numbers. Thanks for your help.

Why would these shepherds be in the fields at the time they were there? Because it was the time of lambing. What time of month would that be? Spring time. The birth of Yeshua, Jesus, was in the spring. Probably about April according to the gregorian calender.

Thank you Rabbi for filling in some of the blanks in Scripture. My prayer for both you and Darren is that you now come home to the Catholic Church where the fullness of truth is contained. Only in the Catholic Church can John 6:53-58 be authentically fulfilled.

Jason Sobel, your statement of Yeshua being born in a cave, is your opinion, where is the evidence? Where is the scripture to back your claim?
What the scripture says is that Yeshua was born at the Tower of the Flock.
if you are still looking for further scriptural evidence, consider these seldom-read verses from the fourth chapter of Micah in the Old Testament:
8 And thou, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of
Zion, unto thee shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom [or “kingship” in some translations] shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.
9 Now why dost thou cry out aloud? is there no king in thee? is thy
counsellor perished? for pangs have taken thee as a woman in travail.
10 Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a
woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and
    thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon;
    there shalt thou be delivered.
A first dominion, a king, and a kingdom, coming to the tower of the flock in Bethlehem in conjunction with a woman giving birth? Accompanied by a second “deliverance” by flight to Babylon? (Egypt/Babylon is where the family fled shortly after Yeshua's birth to escape Herod) To me, this prophecy could not be more clear.
It is my witness that Christ was indeed a worthy sacrifice, perfect and without blemish. From the day of His birth, He fulfilled the Law. Although thousands of lambs came before Him, Yeshua was the Great and Last Sacrifice to be made for Israel.
One of the signs the angel told the shepherds they could use to recognize Him was that he would be laid in a phatnē, or manger. Today, that word would be more commonly translated as “feed trough”. . .
    .
