Herein, we have found one of the major problems...
People get too much their theology from movies and television...
"The Chosen" is absolutely riddled with errors, outright lies and blasphemy...
Unless you are learning what not to do or believe, it should be avoided...

“Always wanted to understand the Bible with the help of a Jew?” Sounds strange! The whole Bible was inspired by the Holy Spirit and the Jews don’t acknowledge the H. S as such. St. Paul says in his chronicles that whoever changes even a stroke from the Word of God be cursed. To learn more about the Bible go to a Christian leader like Bishop Robert Barron who is incredibly knowledgable or some Orthodox priest whatever denomination you belong to. PEACE!

    • @glorytothealmightycreator
      @glorytothealmightycreator 2 ปีที่แล้ว +15

I don't know if during passover or in September , but for sure was not born in December and I do not know how the Father is honoured, celebrating someone a lie and a not ordained day to be celebrated, in December. The christians made i think at Rome, a bigger mistake than the israelits in the past when they asked Yah' a king. The christians saw the romans how they enjoy partying celebrating Saturnalia's feasts and they asked to a worldly pagan king to give them a day which was nowhere in the Scripture as date, nor commanded to be celebrate. I pray from years to Father Yahuah to speak to me if i am wrong, and 'till now...
Because for sure i do not want to say something that it is not true.

      Hi
Yeshua according to the Gospels was born on Feast of Tabernacles because of the course of Abijah which John the Baptist’s father was serving in the Temple at SHAVUOT when the Angel told him his wife Elizabeth who was barren would have a child which he refused to believe and was struck dumb and had to go home so Elizabeth conceived at the time of the Feast of Shavuot, which is the key for working out Yeshua’s birth!

I love it how you say, "God is working out the details of the birth of the Messiah" and that "we should see His fingerprints all over His story!" Well, what excites me is that history is HIS STORY! You amaze me at how you linked the numbers to the name of Jesus and how it ties in with Christmas being on the 359 day of the year! You can't tell me that God isn't involved in humanity!!! The Devine thread is woven throughout HIS STORY (history) declaring His Sovereignty! The more I hear of these things, the more I am convinced that God is God and that His love for us goes so deep that He lays down His heavenly form to reconcile us back to Himself. That's the God I serve - he ain't dead - HE IS ALIVE AND WELL AND LIVING IN ME! Thanks for sharing this. This is actually the second time I watched this video. It is exciting to hear it again! Blessing and Peace

Hi Rabbi Jason! Daniel 9:24-27, has some interesting errors that hide the Years it is meant to show. Verse 24, begins with two identical words in Hebrew: שבעים שבעים Translated: Seventy Seventy, but because of the Masoretic Vowel Pointing, one 'Seventy' is Translated as 'Weeks', hence the 'Seventy Weeks Prophesy' giving us 483 years, with no beginning or ending years. If we ignore the vowel pointing, we are being shown Two separate Calculations that appear in the next verse, each beginning with 'Seventy'.
    Daniel 9:25
The First Calculation: The going forth of the Word/Decree to re-build Jerusalem
70x7=490 plus 7x7=49 Total= 539 BC the Year of the Cyrus Decree.
The Second Calculation: Until Messiah the Prince
70x7=490 minus 62x7=434 Total= 56 BC the Year of the Birth of the Messiah
How do we know this is right? 539 minus 56 = 483 years, but we now have two specific events! Not someones interpretation.
The Birth Year of the Messiah was know by the Magi from the East, who probably came from Persia and would have had access to the Kings Library where Daniels Scrolls would have been kept. The King who was Reigning at the Birth was Herod Antipater the Idumaean who died in 43 BC, he was the father of Herod the Great.
Mattthew tells us that Joseph and Mary took the child to Egypt for safety till the death of Herod. On their return from Egypt, stopping for the Feast in Jerusalem on their way to Nazareth, the boy would be 12 and in his 13th year.
There is a lot more revealed in the other verses of Daniel 9:24-27. Hope you find this interesting?

Such a great teaching. I’ve read the book and have been to Israel and it was the best experience ever! Love your connecting of the dots using numbers. Thanks for this podcast.

Weren't they really going to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles, as commanded in the law? The census was declared at that time because the Romans knew the culture that some are so ignorant of and knew they would be in the area to celebrate the Feast. It's too bad the truth isn't taught.

Couldn't it have been during a Pilgrim feast time or soon after since Yosef and Mariam returned to Nazareth after they went to the Temple to offer the sacrifice? Perhaps they were visiting family they had found before.

The only problem with saying it was King Cyrus (7:54) is that 483 years later would be too soon for Jesus to even be born. But if nobody knows when Cyrus reigned, then it sounds good.

It was Artaxerxes in 444 BC. Cyrus' decree concerned the temple in 547 BC. Artaxerxes decree concerned the actual city of Jerusalem. It's all good, though

Rabbi, what would be your response to those of us who know that Jesus was probably not born in December, more likely in the spring or fall?

Someone said yesterday that Gaspar was the king of Egypt and the family left because of the king herod's decree to Egypt, they went to the king who knew them, the other two were Kings from other areas. One was Melchior and the other one was Bathazar don't know how to spell the last one. I don't know where Dr William Mount got his information.
