Come along with me to our first ridden showing competition of 2023
Here I share my journey from a complete novice horse rider to now competing at horse of the year (HOYS) shows whilst being a completely self-taught equestrian.
I have failed so many times over the years but always learnt something from it, I hope that my TH-cam channel will be able to help teach you all the little bits that nobody seems to share and help progress you on your journey quicker than I did on mine.

I compete my 4 Welsh section D cobs regularly in both in hand and ridden showing, from local level shows, affiliated, WPCS, RIHS, to HOYS qualifiers,
Willow - 11yr old Welsh section D - Sooty palomino
Gambler - 9yr old Welsh section D - Black roan
Champ - 7yr old Welsh section D - Buckskin
Donut - 2yr old Welsh section D - Chestnut roan
I am a completely self-taught horse rider who has a big dream to compete at HOYS, why not follow my journey to see if we can make it,
I'm not perfect and I make mistakes but what we learn from it is what truly matters.

Hi Karen, you both looked great 😊 like you say first show of the season. My goodness so many horses in that ring. You got to have your whits about you and that must be hard when trying to ride and get results from your horse. Well done hun. Another great vlog 😊xx

Thank you, yes some of his classes can get extremely busy and it’s so hard to navigate round everyone without him loosing his rhythm

Don't beat yourself up over anything, you do an amazing job with your cobs. I thoroughly enjoy your vlogs. Willow was going lovely in the go round, as you said a little flat on the individual, but went lovely and mannered, nothing that can't be worked on xx

Love your attitude about things and that you've realised not to beat yourself up about not winning just for the sake of a vlog. I will always enjoy your vlogs whether you win or you loose because you shaw the raw footage of the equestrian world. Don't blame him for being a bit fidgety but overall I think he did a beautiful run 😊 x

Oh some exciting news I sold my old rice trailer today and straight away called the saddler to see when they can come out haha x

Yes they certainly like to keep us on our toes and do what we don’t expect them to do 🤦♀️
We’re out at dressage tomorrow then ridden showing again next weekend I think it is xx

Just a little bit of brylcream (from willko’s / B&M) just so it stops flying about x
