      @@diketsombhele4647 You can use a grater. The Indians use a hand tool called a coconut scraper. Mind your fingers, though.

    This coconut looks so healthy. Aru amaka ya. No we don't have that heavy duty grinder here. I could imagine the coconut oil tasting like beans or okpei😅
    Your fridge is fridge and your freezer is freezer. Noted🤣
    No abrakataabraka truly. Idi so authentic💖
    I have never used that water before. Will try it in white rice as you said. You know if you ask them you want Badagry coconut, they would tell you "oyawa bunu ihea" 🤣
    The coconut oil you extracted is great. Thanks for this and the tips.

    In Jamaica, we use the curdle to make a dish called rundown. You sauté it with onions, thyme, garlic, habanero peppers, tomatoes, Ginger, and whatever herbs and spices that you use for flavoring. Sauté all of your spices and herbs and then you add the cradle and that it’s team in the pot for about 15 to 20 minutes then you’re finished. You can eat it with fufu, fried dumplings, and rice.

  • @effegenewilliams2303
    @effegenewilliams2303 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    When i wad a child growing up in Jamaica my grandma used to boil Coconut oil every week, my reward for cutting up the Coconut was the "custard" to which she would add a little brown sugar. I must say that we boiled the oil on wood fire until brown like the one i saw in your video. Still goes on in Ja.

    I have to comment on this particular video because I never got to say "thank you" for posting that PUREST COCONUT OIL EVER about three years ago on my birthday. It was like a birthday gift from you to me because I had been searching all over TH-cam for how to make virgin coconut oil and I was seeing different things. God bless you, Aunty Flo.
    Let me now balance well and watch this one.😋♥️

  • @ellobymedia7197
    @ellobymedia7197 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    You have said it all Sis. Though I didn't put mine in the fridge. I left it in an open place (my corridor) over night so the natural breeze still made the oil solid and I got my Coconut oil at the end 👌💃.
    In Naija if some of our tricky market women don't deceive you with the wrong Coconut, you will sure get the desired result.

    Thank you! I love your humor! The first time I made coconut oil, while following your video I had to use the plastic bag method, the second time it harden in the fridge as you said it would. The only difference I did this time was use boiling hot water, the first time I just used warm water.
