You know why you are officially my favorite succulent channel? Because every uncommon question I have been googling today brings up one of your videos! I keep ending up here, so I guess I'll just stay here and watch them all 😂🪴👍
@@LushGardener Well, in my side of the world, climate change is felt. It use to be colder once the ‘Ber’ months starts and even colder by January to February. But the weather here in the Philippines is changing almost every 2-3 days but mostly warm 😂😂😂
Thank You Sir for unraveling the mystery of the lava the rocks.I must say the plant in them looks absolutely marvelous 😍. Take care Sir,May you be blessed with the best of health and happiness all year round. Happy New Year 2024.
this lava rocks seems very similar to pumice rocks. absorbent, airy, light, and create aggregates in the soil profile. soil amendments are fun to read about and use.
I am from Ahmedabad, I have used Cinder in all my succulent....and everytime I repot any succulent from nursery soil to cinder it has different reaction on different succulent....it is something that quickly drains water but holds on to little moisture...make sure you do not use anyother sand or soil with cinder else it will hold water forever
oh yes then it’s good as your place is on dry side you can use cinder …I had actually ordered cinder but then cancelled the order it was bit on expensive side due to post and the quantity was too much and I don’t use it ..even though my environment is dry but from June till nov it rains and that time the humidity levels shoot up a lot so I gave up didn’t wanna take a chance …another issue is pest attack what I have heard from people using cinder and yes the moisture retention in dry environment…in costal areas it will retain alot of moisture ..this is something I didn’t like about cinder watering is a major confusion…it’s difficult to understand if the succulent had a drink or not for some ppl the succulents stil looks dehydrated after watering even after 24-48 hours 😒
no …we can’t just use lava rock …there has to be other materials…. lava rock contains nutrients that can benefit plants and soil…but the water will run off quick and dry out the succulents will not have enough time to have a drink …even though we want the soil or media to dry faster but at the same time the succulents must also be able to have a sip
** FORGOT TO MENTION THE DATE …IT WAS POTTED ON 30/NOV/23
