    This information is also useful for other potted plants. People used to use 50/50 sand and compost or peat for potted plants. Today's potting mixes have too much organic matter. For succulents, they like even more inorganic matter.

      Anything that is fast draining, they will survive believe me. They are very easy to care for as long as you don't over water

    How should I make out door garden soil for succulents if I live in the desert. It’s 110-116 degrees F here.

      We have relatively the same temperature herein our place
      My diy mix is 3 parts pumice and 2 parts regular soil

      yes you can. Just be careful when using it as it attracts insects and keeps water

    Why u say that regular soil is inorganic? What’s it exactly? Turf or coco coir without any compost inside? Because when you buy potting mix it’s usually 60 to 75% turf plus green compost (from urban green waste)...

      organic comes from living organisms, while inorganic like rock and soil are inorganic
