Give them to animal shelters, and dog adoption centers! The dogs and weird cats, like mine, would love them! (The reason why I said like mine, is because my cat lives tennis balls)
I love how they kept running back to the door to see if he's coming in the house. They didn't quite know what to do with themselves or the tennis balls and they wanted to share it with their best friend. So adorable.
I found that super depressing. We trap these animals in an environment of our creation where they are totally bored without our interaction. Then leave them alone for hours. It's kinda sad.

It is just because Huskies have strong pack instincts. Since their owner is part of their pack they will never fully be comfortable unless everyone is home. Even when I am home my husky will check the door periodically till my wife comes home. It doesn't have to really do with them wanting to share the experience but instead has more to do with a sense of security in a full pack.
@@mermaidflows4391 It's applicable when you purchase or adopt them when they are perfectly capable of surviving in the environment.
However, if they are sick, vulnerable or at risk, adoption is justified. Just don't buy any animal, no matter what.

There's been some interesting recent research about how dogs mainly play together when a human is around: it seems that they do it for show or to satisfy the human's expectations re: dog "happiness" ... This vid certainly seems to validate that to a certain extent 💕

Interesting to see how their main concern seemed to be more about waiting for their owner to come back than to play with those balls. And look how they seemed to get much more enjoyement with those tennis balls once their owner had come back ! Thank you for this experiment.

@@christinegufka2796 To prove that whatever the amount of balls... Nothing can replace the presence of the owner when it comes to having fun.
But it's probably just a basic behavior inherited from their wolf ancestors living as a pack... The excitation and fun is higher when the alpha male (or whoever plays that role...it can be a female obvioulsy) is around (and I'm only talking about wolves and dogs here...🙄It's best to leave speculations about human beings to anthropologists and sociologists).

I actually like to think there is no connection to ball's or toys alike whatsoever, we throw the ball and celebrate when they bring it back, so they think it's a fun game we like to play. So in that sense the ball becomes purposeless as soon as the humans are gone. Maybe chew on one later if they got bored lol, who knows but it's interesting to think about.

It always touches my heart to see how sad dogs seem to be after their humans leave. Like how these two just hovered around the door after their owner left... their love for us is pure, whether we deserve it or not. Great looking pooches you have there!
This was cute but also kind of sad... just goes to show how much dogs truly miss their people when they leave. Dogs are the absolute best!!!
That's why I will always have at least 2 dogs at a time (3's my limit, lol). It does wonders for their mental and physical health. Even if I am home a lot and our bond is very strong, having their own species for company is a very different thing. It's almost a necessity for people who are gone a lot.

Either that or their moods just brighten up and up for fun knowing that their master is around. In a word, they miss their master and can happily engage in playing when their humans are around.

@@telur_dadar I know right, I did this with my dad pretend to enjoy what he did, dogs are emotionally smart and I think they just panda to your enjoyment, its so artificial, but it dose show, that you do it because you love them, they love you and want you to be happy so they play along, it's a sad game, but its a WIN/WIN both sides feel good.
Makes sense they were domesticated that way, the evolutionary trait that was enhanced with their domestication was their curiosity and dependence on humans. We narcissistically bred dogs to have the most servile traits to be dependent on us and the reason many people don't like cats is they're not as domesticated or dependent on us and often say no to playing so some people amputate their toe bones so they can't fight back. People even treat other people as things, it makes sense they do that to animals too who can't advocate for themselves against humans.

True and sad. I know my dog, like many others I'm sure, gets very down when she's left alone. Upon our return, she explodes with delight, as it she truly wasn't sure if she ever see us again. Sad that they seem to feel this way... it must be painful for them when we leave home.

My one dog throws the ball for himself by throwing it up in the air with his mouth then attacking it when it lands.
I❤d how they both missed you but the truly loyal Husky *really* missed you. While the other one wanted nothing more than to play, the Husky acted like that older responsible, half engaging sibling‼🤣He only lit up when you returned then wanted to play and have you, your attention & affection ALL to himself!😆I also❤d the fact that they didn't whine, whimper or get onto the furniture. Great dogs and even greater, responsible owner. How many others can claim that?

I took care of a dog who would only chew on his bone when I was next to him. As soon as I got up and left he would put it down. Dogs are funny that way.
So the truth is out - doggoes are indefferent to balls, they just realise that the humans have fun playing "Throw" so they indulge us just to see our sunny smiles :)
But they’re still sweet enough to pretend like they’re having fun
I love how you left, they check to make sure. Then the one goes in and sees if you left any food on the counter.
As a dog trainer with more than 20 years of experience under my belt I am seeing two dogs waiting. Actively waiting. Checking the door, looking to the door, wandering around without a real destination or goal in mind. The tension only disappears once their human is back.
That's how much a toy replaces the company (and security) a good pack leader offers :)

I know my husky is very aware of what a camera is and where I place them. I am convinced many dogs are aware they are still being watched and act accordingly

@@Kidscartoonsfun28 Cats can actually see the infrared light to some extent coming out of the camera, so it is no surprise why lot of cats seem to react to a camera or video being recorded. They can literally see it.
This just goes to show that our loyal fur buddies miss us while we are away. They don’t feel complete with a member of their “pack” missing. Beautiful.
I put my Rough Collie into a boarding kennels for a week while I went on holiday. When I picked him up, he sulked for days. Not happy. I didn't do that again and had a friend come and dog-sit instead.
This sentence of yours kind of made me rly sad. Becouse i moved out of my parents home a year ago, and sometimes i feel bad for my doggo i left behind with them becouse i coudnt get her with me.

Its so cute. I owned huskies, they always think everyday is Christmas morning and its just for them! It makes them actually by nature spread cheer everywhere they go and good vibes for humans all the time! Such cool creatures. Thanks for the memory.

I have a sneaky suspicion that guy who watches us with his huskies has something to do with it.
Moral of the story: balls are not fun on their own. They're fun when you've got a human to play with.

That’s like my cat. He loves when I play with him, but I get bored after a while. So I’ve bought him toys that move on their own, but he loses interest within seconds if I’m not involved. Kinda frustrating but cute. 😖🙄☺️

My little one goes straight up on to the table when that door closes, haha. We can hear her jumping down from the garage which is right under the kitchen. She’ll even do it when we are all in another room together.
My favorite part! Checking to see if any food was ‘accidentally’ left out on the counter.
Also the POV from GoPro on the other dogs back 😍 I could watch that all day 🐾🐾
Honestly proves how much dogs enjoy spending time with their owners more than with themselves. As soon as you came back they seemed to have much more energy!

I mean wolves are social animals, and dogs being their decendents are too, so makes sense
Dogs are bred to please and be able to read humans. It’s bred into them that they are interested in humans. For example: dogs can communicate with humans through eye contact and they can understand it when we look at something. Wolves can’t understand that, bc wolves/dogs don’t communicate that way. They also can’t read emotions on humans that easily and don’t react as much, but they are much more social than a group of dogs is.
At this point dogs are very very far away from wolves!!!

The way the music stops when Kakoa smells Sky 😂😂 *barf* LOL and I absolutely love Kakoa trying so hard to get Sky to play! The dynamic of these two’s relationship is my favorite!! Serious VS Playful! ❤️ Huskies are my FAVORITE dog breed! They are so smart, vocal, and energetic. I’d be blessed to have pets like yours some day!!! 😊 (Kakoa has a beautifully unique tail, btw)

It's interesting how Sky knew something wasn't "normal", and only really enjoyed the balls when her owner signaled that this was "Ok" and to go ahead and play. Smart doggy. Kakoa, on the other hand was like " I don't give a crap, I'm have fun now!!"😁

So Sky keeps having this feeling that Daddy is super close by. Doesn't believe he left completely, or really at all. Because dogs can even sense when they're humans are almost home at least around 10 mins from the time the arrive. So Sky didn't really buy into it yet. Look at the reaction to "the surprise" when he came back. Sky: "Did you leave these all around just got us?"
Kokoa: "You did didn't you? Let's PLAY!"
Sky: "so THAT'S what surprise means!"
And all is well and right in their world again.

I anticipated the reaction of the dogs, Too much of a good thing and they really wanted their human to play with them. We all need to be able to share our good fortune.
Huskies are so smart. Sky knew it was a set up. Plus, they love interacting with their humans more. This was a cute video. I have a Husky/Malamute mix. Every time we get snow, he bounces around outside like a puppy. They are a wonderful breed. Your two are gorgeous.

Sometimes we leave one of our phones set up in the house with FaceTime on and watch to see what they do when we leave.

My 6 year old yorkie has been an amazing companion for her entire life and so loyal, well behaved and loveable it's ridiculous. She loves balls and I've always hoped to have the spare few hundred dollars to treat her to this. Seeing this motivates me to make it happen sooner then later. She isn't 2 or 3 anymore sadly and hearing her little legs crack with the morning stretch now breaks my heart. She deserves her own ball pit and so much more. Thanks.

“The best toy you can give your dog is your time.” Something like that was written on a plush duck toy i got my dog and I never forgot it. You can tell How the value of the balls shot up exponentially once they got to share it with their dad.

My 2 dogs play together when we watch them way more than when we dont. I can say "Put on a show" and theyll start wrestling and running laps around the yard and back to wrestling. It will continue until I walk away or call them. They love the attention!! it makes them so happy when your eyes are on them.

My English bulldog would LOVE this! Maybe more so a few years back though since he's almost blind now he'd probably just trip over them all now. Tomorrow is his 11th birthday though!! I cant wait to give him his pupcake!

Happy belated birthday to him!!! I have had quite a few English Bulldogs and they are awesome dogs, not many make it to such a good old age due to health problems. Some do but not many, I hope you still get more time with him.

Dogs shift into guard mode when human isn't home. Some sit at the door or window and bark at everything they hear & see. Guard the house time isn't play time. One of these dogs is more into guarding, likely older than the other. Dogs will also guard when you put them on a leash or something constrictive, like the gopro harnesses.
Some people have to leave the radio or TV on when they are away otherwise their dog gets lonely

Dogs are so considerate and it shows here; they bith entered a room full of balls and they wanted to play, but yhey also noticed that the balls were crowded in that one room, a little too neat. Sky was probably thinking "hang on, we can't play with these, i think we're supposed to guard them or something"
The fact that they waited for you to get home before getting excited shows that not only were they waiting for permission to disturb the balls and play with them, but also wanting to share with you this new jolly discovery of a whole rolm full of balls!!

It's all meaningless without the master being at home with them. Dogs are truly man's best friend. They wait for us and love us unconditionally.

I had LARGE plants on the shelves, and it looked lovely over the couch and chairs. When I got home from work, it was another story. It seems the dogs were bored while I was at work, and decided to play with the plants. When I got there, the rug and furniture were covered in dirt and plant parts. Though they HAD balls and toys, tearing up and tossing plants was more fun. Ugh! I would have LOVED to see them doing it! I'll bet it was very funny and that they had a great time doing it. The clean up….not fun.

I would love to see their reaction to a larger tennis ball. I was able to find one for my puppy niece that was around the size of a basketball on Amazon. She was so wide eyed and excited to play with it as soon as she saw it. She played with it for hours and ended up sleeping very well that night, lol. It's been very durable too. She is a chewer with some of her toys and somehow it has not popped yet (to my knowledge), even though I got it for her a couple years ago.
