Great video, Frazer! The Yamaha XSR900 is such a versatile bike, but I appreciate how you broke down whether it's beginner-friendly. Your detailed analysis on power, handling, and comfort really helps viewers make an informed decision. Keep up the awesome content!
I'm 55 years old now and still from the moment I stick my leg over the seat of my XSR900 I'm looking for the crest or bump in the road to launch into a wheelie....!! There is always a set of lights to blast away from and I always turn rider modes off before leaving my driveway and I'm going to say it's probably not the best bike to start on...
Soooo i originally started riding in Italy 10 years ago on a Ninja 300 and stopped when i got back to the States. I bought an XSR900 after not having touched a motorcycle in those 10 years, three months ago, and i must say i LOVE the bike. I would say having the modes and options helped someone like a returning rider get back into it. I wouldn't suggest a beginner getting an XSR900, though, or unless a special case like you said. Great video, keep it up 👍🏽
@@KomodoCruisin The modes do definitely help when learning what the XSR900 is like but definitely not for a complete beginner 😂 Cheers for watching my dude 🤘🏻
@FrazerAndrewsMotoVlogs agreed, man! I noticed you mentioned you try not to ride on the cold? I've been riding in the cold, but I'm most definitely layering up. I think the coldest i rode last week was in the 30s°F so around 0°C for Europe if I'm correct hahha
Hi mate I'm going to share your channel on my channel community because I'm a Biker myself and I know a good Biker when I see one your awesome man. 👍 I ride a Suzuki bandit 1000
So the question is what CC is good for a beginner kinda lookin at the kawasaki versys 650 but any other lighter weight bike than that, Thanks(sorry might be nub question)
@@gunshipanropace2gunshipand119 it depends really. Have you ridden before? If so how long have you been riding? What's the highest CC bike you've ridden? There's a lot of variables, your best option would be to test ride a few bike and see what works for you ✌🏻
I cross shopped it with a Tuono 660. The XSR felt a lot bigger -- weight and size -- than what I wanted to start with. The Tuono felt a lot easier to handle for me. Got the Tuono. It's in a nice spot where it really outshines the MT-07 (and derivatives), but not as daunting as the XSR 900.
hey man, i wanna edit some videos for you completely free, dont need to pay me at all for those. If you like my editing skills, we can make a deal, what about it?

I’ve ridden an MT07, and they’re seriously rapid in my opinion. Great video dude.
