This is the best repair hands videos i've ever seen! Please Never show your face, your hands are the best side of you, we love you! Also your accountant is obviously your supreme leader and guide to everything in life, as intended by the great watch in the sky. Keep up those great videos, you amazing left and also right hand!
Thank you for finally restoring a fine ladies watch, I'd appreciate seeing more of them. I'm just beginning my journey into Watchmaking/repairing, and I I see the greatest challenges to be found in these tiny movements. With practice, just about anyone can be trained to disassemble and reassemble a basic pocket watch. But as you increase the complexity and reduce the form factor (size), you begin to separate the hobbyists from the budding professionals. A 1mm screwdriver is miniscule, it boggles the mind (as do the screws), and having the hand control to accurately tweeze the parts and screws in these tiny movements, is something that takes years to perfect. The watch turned out spectacularly, and I hope that your wife was pleased with it. Take care of her, and fill her with beautiful things that you make (or restore) with your own hands. These are the gifts that have real meaning. I've been married for forty-three years, and I recently retired as an electrical engineer. I've always been fascinated by mechanical watch movements, so I'm expanding my bench to make room for a watch service/repair station. I'll be starting with a Maryland Railroad Pocket Watch, and I have a small box of of non working mechanical watches that belonged to my grandfather. There's enough in the box to keep me busy for several years.
My wife and I have been married for 52 years. We got remarried on Mar 3, 2021. She gave me her Cinderella watch that she has had since she was a little girl to restore because I told her about this video. And thanks to you, Mr. Nekkid Watchmaker, we are now waiting for her order of both a new couch and lots of scatter cushions. But, she is the one that has always kept my mainspring wound and my heart ticks only for her.
Truly an absolute pleasure to watch you work my friend . I find that I drift into a real zen like state aided by your dulcet commentary peppered with a few genuine laugh out loud moments , and the occasional appearance of " trouble" is delightfull . Much love to you and yours from bonnie Scotland .

Well Joe, you've no idea how much I enjoyed this video. You kept me in stitches the whole way through with your witty, tongue-in-cheek banter. This brings back so many memories of boxes of old watches.
I repaired several ladies ring watches but never came across that Tissot model.
Some gold standard voice acting there, even with the mess up in dialogue. Hahah.
Lol thanks mate
Your sense of humour is great, and your workmanship is just amazing.
Thanks riazul
you did get a new lens recently so the one who must be obeyed deserved a small treat. 2x 👍
I love the "scattered pillows" thing.
I don't own a single mechanical watch yet I still enjoy the vids.
Thanks
