I love watching your videos as a rank amateur tinkerer. But it's your commentary that makes it entertaining, and sometimes, touching. Your gentle philosophies and warm regards for everything/everyone take us all out of the noisy world for an hour. Great work.

I've inherited my mother lecoultre 1930s , non reversible, and have just got it cleaned. I chose the same strap! It's now being used daily after being silent for over 55 years. I am very proud to wear it.

Joe, the Omega Seamaster Chrono restoration video series was your most epic, but I think that this was the most enjoyable video that you've made yet. Fantastic craftsmanship befitting such an iconic timepiece, but getting out of the shop and seeing a bit of old Birmingham and some of your mates was great. And kudos for keeping your tool envy under control. Btw, it looks like Trouble Too is well on his way to becoming a watch collector. Best wishes to the family and looking forward to the next treat from you.

Your content at times is like a family show which moves away from the standard watch channels with top down views of everything. Its refreshing and very personable.
I must say, you seem extremely relaxed when things go wrong, especially when a hairspring decides to stick together. Most would be pulling their hair out but you just get on with it, irrespective of the additional time. Its calming to watch you work my friend. Wow, just watched your restoration of the Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso watch, and I've got to say, I'm blown away! Your skills are off the charts, seriously. How you navigated all the ins and outs of that watch like a pro was so cool.
And can I say, your chill vibe was the cherry on top throughout the whole thing. Even with all those tiny parts and tricky steps, you never missed a beat. Plus, your explanations were on point; I feel like I learned a ton just by watching.
But the best part? Your humour, hands down. Your funny comments and chats with Mr Jim had me smiling the whole time. Not every day do you get to watch something so intricate with a side of laughs. It's a unique touch that sets you apart!

I'm not writing this to suck up to you, but this channel is one of the best I have ever seen on this subject .
Actually I have two left to watch yours and another one. Sometimes, instead of watching a stupid movie or TV series, I prefer to turn on some archival movie and see it again. It's a feast for the eyes. I also know that there are professionals I could trust entrusting my watch to. It's a pity that it's so far away because I would start servicing mine only at your place. I started my adventure with mechanical watches 2 years ago, so mine don't need restoration yet but when the need comes, who knows. I may even come personally with it to you. Once again: fantastic work, fantastic result, and fantastic channel, fantastic guy from you.
Greetings and God's blessings to you.

As a very lucky Reverso owner, I loved watching that. Absolutely remarkable work. I cannot believe the state the watch was in before you started working on it. 👏🏻

I'd love to know more about the owners, do they wear the watches or put them in a safe.

@@dharmaqueen Hi Dharmaqueen, good question. I wear mine regularly - with interchangeable black alligator and brown leather straps you can dress it up or down. To not wear a nice watch and just leave it in a safe is to miss the joy of wearing such a beautiful watch. But don’t expect compliments from others because you’re wearing it for you - no one else gives a sh*t (quite rightly).

You're an art deco fan too? You're even more my favourite Brummie watch repairer.

Thank you for outstanding job, sir! Among so many fake and pitiful "restoration" videos on yt, it is nice to stumble upon a gem like this one! Greetings from Russia, and let us all hope for the King's virtues you've mentioned in your closing words! Again, thank you so much for this aesthetic delight! ❤
